Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
As always stayed n the Super 8 Grande Prairie for the Ag show. Staff is very freindly and helpful, room was very clean and has all i need. You get good value for your money Location is very handy next to the main road coming in Grande Prairie, but no problem with noise from that road. My only remarks would be to have a bit more points to plug in Diesel trucks on the parking lot

Ac and heat control , other then that it was great , location couldve had better parking and better access for checking in and out and loading ur bags. Has a pool looked like good breakfast room. Beds was great and rooms.

It definitely Could be a bit cheaper. The price average equal more than 2 seperate rooms with 4 beds but We got 2 bedroom with pull out couch suite. @250 a night The place was clean and tidy though the pullout couch was clean as well not all stained.

Best place to stay in Grande Prairie, Free breakfast lots to choose from, if you just want something small, lots of cereal, toast, muffins, fruit. But if your really hungry. There is pancakes, bacon, ham, hash browns, eggs, yogurt. Coffee, juice, tea, milk. and so much more.

Booked through the 1-800 and was told it would be $120 a night. Clarified with the agent that it was $120 in CAD and then was charged $160 because it was in USD. When we arrived there was a drug deal happening in the back of the hotel where the hotel parking lot is located. We had enough time to go swimming before bed and though that would be fun. The pool ladders were not secured and there is mild everywhere. The slide was mildly and had large chunks of pain and material that has fallen off and scattered across the pool deck. The pool also didn’t have any towels. The room was basic and bathroom was too small( had trouble closing the door when inside). I slipped in the shower as there is no tub floor mat or grip pad. There were parties across the hall that we could hear most of the night. The hotel at one time was good but I would not recommend it to anyone!

All the staff was great! We had a queen suite and it was tiny. The bed was a double if that, barely room for one adult and a one year old. The pull out couch was very tiny as well, not big enough for 2 children. The room was small for a suite and the rug was old and dirty looking. I honestly feel the size of the beds and room would be good for one person. I had myself and 3 children and opted for a suite to have the extra room and it was disappointing. The parking is terrible as well. The parking is all behind the hotel, if you don't have command start then your either waiting outside with your running vehicle or taking the risk of starting it and going back to your room. Major Inconvenience for me with my children, one being a baby to have to start my vehicle in the cold dark morning. Also felt very uneasy having to walk behind the hotel alone in the dark. Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast. Pool was fun!

We stay at Super 8 for all our business travel. Not again at the Super 8 in Grande Prairie. The room had a musty/moldy smell we feel was attributed to the bathroom door which exhibited water damage along its lower edge. In addition we are seniors (in our 70's) who travel a lot for business. When we stay at a Super 8 we may be asked for a modest $100 damage deposit because we pay by debit. Some don't even ask for that seeing us as seniors on business. The GP location demanded $500 and when we checked out we had to wait for the room to be inspected before the deposit was returned.

Do not stay here. Filthy rooms and worn out furniture. Looks like the kind of room you'd rent to do illegal things. For $25 more a night you can book in at the Pomeroy Hotel across the street which is a very nice upscale place. Don't waste your money here.

I stayed here for business it suited every purpose I needed except the shower rod was broken. I reported it was fixed so happy about that should never of happened. The maids should report these situations before hand other than that. The breakfast was not awesome but it was there so it was something to eat the staff all great the handyman who fixed my shower rod excellent Very professional very fast. I will stay there again.

Room smelled of smoke. When report the front desk stated "When you walk into a new room it smells like smoke sometimes".
The new room we switched to had broken springs in the bed which made you feel as if you were sleeping In a hole. Staff did not seem concerned. Breakfast is sub par, with little options for kids. We chose to eat out. The parking lot is littered with garbage. Stay down the road at a different hotel for the money...
