We had an amazing four night stay in a riverside chalet. Perfect accommodation for 2 with a view and sound of the Athabasca River that we will remember always. We loved it. We felt at home here from the moment we checked in, such friendly staff throughout from reception to breakfast and cleaning staff too. We felt we made the best choice for our stay in Jasper ~ excellent!
My wife and I visited last September for our first stay at Becker's. Last year when we checked out we made a reservation for spring. We returned on May 9th for 4 nights. Cabin 40 was Fantastic, and we would recommend staying on the river side if you can. So peaceful and quiet. When we sat in the chairs in front of our cabin it was almost like being at an isolated property. Perfect setting. The cabin was cozy and the fireplace kept us warm on the cool nights while we read or watched hockey. The property is amazing and will always be our first choice for booking in Jasper. Now let's talk about the staff. My only regret is that I did not get the names of all the staff members so we could thank them by name. At the front desk Gabby and all her colleagues were amazing and were so kind to us every time we interacted with them.......first class. Everyone was so pleasant to speak to... House Keeping was great in the 3 days we interacted with them. The 3 people we spoke to were very friendly and personable. We left them a note thanking them and they always left a note back....... Now let's talk about the restaurant......Well they do have a new menu. For some, it may take time to get used to all the changes. But in saying that we ate 3 of our evening meals in the restaurant and the food and the service were fantastic. I will say that I stepped outside my comfort zone with respect to food items and was not disappointed. My wife also enjoyed every thing that she ate. The view is also fantastic.......If you can ask for the table for 2 by the window.... The food was fantastic...........The STAFF WERE EXCEPTIONAL....... Thank you so much to Mel, Ben, Lillian, and Nepine for making us feel so welcome and for treating us like we were family and friends. The service they provided was TOP BOX. Between the staff and the food our meals were so enjoyable and something we will always remember. We can't leave out the animals While walking on the property we saw Geese, Elk and even a Grizzly Bear. The geese and the Elk were around every day, and we were fortunate enough to the see bear on a late evening walk on one of the nights. We do hope to be back in the future and we highly recommend this property to everyone, To all the Becker's Staff Thank You So Much For An Amazing Stay. It was a wonderful 5 days,,,,,…
As a combination of price, comfort, cleanliness and access to nature, I don't think any other place in the rockies can compete. This place is a gem, I'll stay here every time I come to Jasper. The staff is also a pleasure to interact with.
My husband and I recently celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary and chose to get away rather than having a gathering at home. Our plans began with just our children and grandchildren staying at Becker's. Later, we asked others to join us so called back to change reservations. Then, due to illness one couple couldn't join us so another call was made to amend the reservations. Every time I spoke with the reservation staff my requests were handled with pleasantness although I'm sure they were frustrated. Sign-in for all those joining us was smooth and pleasant including us obtaining the key to a unit where the guests were arriving past the office closing time. Dinner reservations were of the same prompt, pleasant nature. The waiting staff was professional and handled our group of ten promptly. Unfortunately I did not think to ask the names of the staff but everyone, including the housekeeping and grounds staff were very welcoming to us. P.S. Thank you to the property owners for the lovely bottle of wine and chocolates that was left on the mantle of our unit. Here are some items that we would like to mention that could possibly make a stay for others better -- sheets were not provided for the hide-a-beds in the units provided with a couch that makes out; some bedrooms do not have any plug ins. Our stay was during a major power outage in the town of Jasper -- luckily Becker's has their own generator so we were never without power. However, it was too bad that only people with reservations could have dinner in the dining room (with the power off in town there was no place for many guests to eat that evening).…
We stayed at Becker's Chalets at the end of August 2022. It was our best decision made for accommodation while visiting Jasper. The location is perfect. It is within minutes (driving) to the town of Jasper. The view is perfect. Looking out the Athabasca Falls and all the surrounding mountains everyday when we woke up. If you are lucky, you will be able to spot some family of Elk in the open field in the early morning. The Chalets' surrounding areas are perfect. Love all the colorful Muskoka chairs all around the front yard. They make the entire environment much more colorful and relax along with the sound of the Athabasca River. The Chalet itself is perfect to us. We had a two rooms Chalet with a fireplace and a kitchenette. It was perfect for our family to make a quick meal and/or sandwiches. A perfect size bathroom for us. We were amazingly surprised by a heated floor. Love the soothing music playing on the TV as soon as we walked into our Chalet. It gave us an additional feel of a country mood and helped us to put away the stress from the city for a few days. Love the individual Chalet settings. It gave us a sense of privacy of our own (not like any other traditional hotel setup where all guests stay in the same building). The food in the restaurant was excellent. We had dinner at the restaurant and our meal was amazing and we loved every bite of it. The restaurant staff were friendly, approachable and very helpful. They made our stay much more enjoyable along with some (4.5+ stars type) great food. Our overall experience with Becker's Chalets was exceptional. In our opinion, they have exceeded and beyond the hospitability services to all their guests. We would definitely stay at the same Chalet next time when we visit Jasper again. I really hope that you will also find the same experience like we did if you decide to stay with them.…
Becker's Chalet is a hidden joy 5 minutes out of the town of Jasper. We enjoyed our little chalet with a delightful kitchen filled with everything we needed. Right on the Athabasca River, you can enjoy the sounds of the rapids in this very scenic setting on many Adarondic chairs set around the river. Very comfortable hide-a-bed right in front of gas-burning fire place. My daughter enjoyed chasing many, many Canada Geese. We really enjoyed them. Staff were very friendly and helped us out when we locked ourselves out of the room. Hope one day to return! Beautiful stay!
The chalets are amazing. Spending 3 nights here. So cosy. Clean. Close to Athabasca river at the door step literally. The service is excellent. Michael at reception is so courteous and helpful, actually all of them are. Zac who looked after us at dinner was amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Jasper.
Not a Luxury Hotel. However, it is a great place with excellent value in Jasper. We have a Deluxe Log Chalet for two with queen bed, kitchenette, bathroom, and living with fireplace. Everything you need is in the kitchen, even good coffee. Washroom was very clean. Carpet was also spotless. Balcony view spectacular. After arriving we sat down in chairs looking the river, amazing time to relax, Restaurant was also good with excellent breakfast buffet not complains. The Staff was outstanding. Parte del staff habla español. Looking forward to come back next year.
very beautiful in side log beams in side nice store but pricey 2 craby workers brought the review down from 5 two 4 nice view of mountains and lake expensive vending machines sells pop for 3 dollars and nice fire places recommended
We spent 3 nights at Becker's this summer, in a 2-bedroom cabin. It is an excellent place: exceptionally clean; beautiful location on the shore of the glacier-fed Athabaska river; helpful and friendly staff members; lovely grounds; and just a few kilometres from the village. We much preferred staying here than in the much busier village. Our cabin wasn't directly facing the river but it didn't matter at all; it was a two-minute walk across the lawn to the riverside. I have nothing but compliments for Becker's and we would definitely stay there again. Excellent value!
