We didn't stay at the resort, but rather than eat at the very crowded Glacier cafeteria and shop in their gift shop, we chose to stop in at the Sunwapta resort restaurant and their gift shop on the way back to Jasper. The resort did look lovely though. Very clean cafeteria type restaurant with lots of choices. Lovely decor. Great...

Great place in the Jasper National Park. Close to all amenities in the park. Cabin style accommodation which was a bit dated but very clean and well equipped. Very friendly and helpful staff who are available 24/7. We could not get a table in the restaurant as we had forgotten to book but staff was very helpful and brought us...

This resort is a great place to stay its close to great hiking trails .I liked the no cell service and limited wifi to get a full nature experience. The staff is great and I loved that each cabin had a fire place. My only complaint is the high food prices 10.50 for an egg salad sandwich seems ridiculous. The restaurant is expensive...

Great location, clean, comfortable and friendly place to be. We would happily stay there again on our next trip to Canada. We stayed in several hotels during our trip which were lovely, but our stay at Sunwapta made the holiday. The walk to the falls made a lovely afternoon out in the sun and the food available in the evening...

Our stay at Sunwapta Falls Resort was rather disappointing.   The staff at the front desk was great, and the fireplace in our room was great, but that was all that was good. We walked into our room and we're met with an unpleasant, old basement kind of smell. It was like stepping into 1970. The hotel is in desperate...

good place to stay could go from Banff to Jasper it was right in the middle of both places. We had dinner it was vary nice. Its a bit rustic but for us that was ok. The falls beside the cabins is a nice walk and not hard for people who are not into long hikes

Great location, with nice walk to falls behind hotel, rooms basic but comfortable and lovely to watch sun set over mountains from your porch before heading for a lovely meal in the restaurant. I cannot fault friendly and helpful staff in all aspects of the establishment and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Real fire place was a nice feature that...

I am in two minds about this place. Mountain lodge is a bit of a stretch, it's more like an expensive outdated motel. The "cabins" are prefabricated portacabins with a wooden exterior. Inside, the decor is quite dated, but sufficiently comfortable. You also share thin walls with other guests. There is a small kitchenette, which has no crockery in it,...

We stayed two nights while visiting the Jasper area. The rooms are very dated, worn and in need of an upgrade but the beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. It offers an onsite restaurant that is in the gourmet side so not good for kids. We ate at the restaurant one night and the trout was amazing. Given...

This is a great place to stay, having that "right in the mountains" experience that is available only in a few places in the immediate Jasper area. It's a bit rough around the edges in a few places but the staff, food, ambience, etc. are really top drawer. The cabins are the way to go. The best I can say...
