This was our first stay at the Jasper House Bungalows We travel to Edmonton frequently to visit daughter and granddaughter, and love Jasper. We spend time in Jasper on every trip now. We loved this location and the serenity of its surroundings. The log cabin's are incredibly clean, look almost new. The wildlife comes out to show exactly where you are, in a majestic setting in the most beautiful mountains in the world. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We ate in the restaurant and had the local Elk and Bison burgers which we enjoyed. We will be back next year.

We loved our stay at Jasper House Bungalows. It was quiet, and a quick walk to a sandy beach, where you can sit on the rocks and watch the river, or go for a walk on near by trails. Access to town was also convenient. The staff was friendly, and was very respectful of Covid 19 guidelines. I have to say, I'm very picky when it comes to cleanliness in hotels, and i was very impressed with how spotless everything was. A great quiet get away for anyone who wants to be close to town, and trails for hiking and biking. Would recommend

We have been coming here with our children since 2010. We love the location on the banks of the Athabasca river. There is a great walking trail along the river and a spot you can go down to with a bit of a beach at a quiet piece of the river. The staff are always amazing. They are working very hard to follow covid 19 protocols making us feel very comfortable and safe,. The family Unit (thats what we call it) has a great kitchenette, a 4pce bathroom, a double bed, master bedroom and a pull out couch, They are part way through renovating the units, but we have no complaints with the existing units. They are clean, beds are comfy. The wifi is fantastic and they have TVS if you actually turn it on...we never do. There is an abundance of chairs and pic nik tables at the units. The elk seem to love the green space in the centre of property. We have always woken up to elk milling around, This trip there was 9 females and 1 Bull Elk. On past trips we have been able to roast hot dogs and marshmallows for smores, but due to a pine beetle problem there was afire ban this trip. We love the proximity to the Jasper Tram, townsite and Athabasca Falls. The onsite restaurant is fabulous.

Thank you 589HSharonG for writing a review about your stay with us and thank you for continuing to return over the years. It is always a pleasure when you arrive. We are ecstatic to hear that you felt comfortable and safe while staying here. We put forth our best effort to ensure guests would remain safe. The family unit - also known as the Riverside Family Suite has recently had the kitchen and bathroom updated while we were closed over the winter. As for the TV... Jasper is a fantastic place to explore, we are glad that you took advantage of the lovely atmosphere and activities and the TV was not used. Our most common visitors are Elk. They truly do love our green space in the center of the property. This season we did not see as many as we usually do however they still made their presence known when they did arrive. Unfortunately, the fire pit will not be usable for the foreseeable future. The forested area in Jasper has taken a big loss of pine trees due to the pine beetle infestation. We will pass along your kind comments about the staff and Elk Village Restaurant. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Stay safe.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Jasper House Bungalows a couple of weeks ago. It was fantastic! The front desk staff were helpful and polite. The room we stayed in had an amazing river and mountain view. It was clean and cozy. We decided to eat at the restaurant and had a great meal. Jasper is a beautiful town and we love staying there. Definitely will stay here again.

We stayed there for 3 nights. They seem to take advantage of the COVID-19 by not providing housekeeping services and also the front desk isn't open 24/7 . Staying in other hotels after leaving this place - none of them had "this practice". The bungalows are dated , need upgrading. The windows aren't insulated which means can hear cars and people talking outside. Also if you mange to catch the office open - and ask for tourism info. you would be told that they aren't tourism office....so basically no real service that one would expect.

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. While some guests appreciate the fact that others will not be entering their accommodations during a pandemic, this does not apply to everyone. This has been a common practice with many hotels over in Jasper and elsewhere this summer along with removing unnecessary items such as additional pillows, blankets etc. We are happy to provide you with any items you may require during your stay. Please inform us and it will be dropped off to your doorstep. Each winter season while closed we continue to update our rooms and suites. Our most recent update would be the Riverside Family Suite kitchens and bathrooms. Unfortunately, with us being a seasonal property we do not have double paned windows. This past summer our office did have reduced hours of operation due to the reduced staff. However we always have a staff member available and on call for any issues that may arise when the office is closed. Our office has never been open 24/7 Thank you for your feedback. We hope that we will have the opportunity in the future to change your mind.
