Our stay at the Crimson in Jasper was amazing! The biggest highlight of our trip was all the help we received from Serj while checking in. Serj was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in giving us ideas for things to do in Jasper, where to eat, what to see, etc.! We found an amazing restaurant for dinner based on the recommendations we got as well. The room itself was clean, modern, and we even got upgraded to a balcony room with a view of the mountains. We were pleasantly surprised at how big the rooms were! We would definitely recommend staying at the Crimson in Jasper, and will be back ourselves the next time we are in town!

Room is spacious and clean, having the balcony is an added bonus. Checked-in in the middle of the week so the property is not so busy. Front desk staff is very welcoming and accommodating. Being close to a grocery shop is very convenient. Some noise from the train nearby but I guess it's all over Jasper town anyway.

We were welcomed by a very friendly and enthusiastic staff member. The lobby Is also very inviting. Great decor! The hotel room was very clean and a super comfy bed. Linens were crisp and soft. Although the restaurant was closed for renovations there were many options available close by. Other reviewers complained about the train sounds. We didn’t find the sound disturbing at all. We would definitely return to the Crimson. It was a great stay !

The Crimson Jasper is in a great location. You can walk to restaurants and shops within 5 minutes. The lobby area is clean and inviting. The rooms are really nice and clean. You can see mountains from the window. There is also a free parking lot, it’s outside so if it snows you’ll have to clean your car off.

This place has a great website and fabulous staff. The website makes it seem like a high-end modern hotel. The friendly and accommodating staff almost make up for the fact that it is anything but high-end or modern. The drab, brown rooms were bleak, at best. The shower had red mould in the drain. The kitchenette was stocked with paper plates and plastic forks. For something that claims to be Jasper’s newest hotel, it was pretty weathered. There was the constant sound of highway traffic and over-loud ventilation, with the persistent cacophony occasionally punctuated by the passing trains. We have stayed at more appealing motor hotels that claim no more than two stars. The price was so-so….we have certainly paid much less for much more. That being said, the staff were wonderful. They were friendly, engaging, and helpful. We sincerely hope that these wonderful people find jobs at better hotels or are at least paid very well to work at the Crimson.

Dear Paul and Kim A, Thank you for taking the time to let us know of your experience during your recent visit to the Crimson Jasper. Your review is important to us and we read every single one. I was happy to read that our well versed staff were able to make your stay. Any review mentioning the staff really makes my day. It tells me that our training efforts are heading in the right direction. I was disappointed that we did not meet your expectations during your stay with us. Your comfort is of our utmost importance and I sincerely apologize for any discomforts you may have faced. Jasper is a town that was built upon the railway system and we are proud of our heritage. We understand that noise from the train may cause disturbances to our guests and to aid this we have ear plugs available at the front desk. I hope you were able to inquire. Our hotel is a 3-star on the hotel star rating system. We meet all the rating requirements to claim this rating and do not advertise otherwise. Our style is contemporary and I'm sorry this was not to your taste. Regarding the cleanliness issue that you experienced, this is not the standard we uphold ourselves to and I will be addressing this with our housekeeping team. The plastic and paper kitchenware was brought in to help aid with reducing touch points and sanitization during these unprecedented times. As the covid numbers begin to move in a better direction, we will look to re-introduce the ceramic kitchen ware. We appreciate your understanding. Thank you for your constructive feedback. It is important we know our areas in need of improvement so that we may serve you better in the future. Kind Regards, Bronson Albano Guest Services Manager
