Small room without toilet or shower. Group toilets and shower along the floor. Gives you a hostel feeling.Rooms on upper floors. No elevators. Restaurant, Bar and sports Bar/gambling room at ground floor. They try to give it all the old fashioned look. Average restaurant with average choice of breakfast or dinner.

The Athabasca is nice enough. This historic hotel is in a great location right "downtown." Parking can be a problem. The hotel was clean and the staff helpful. I would stay here again, but would look around to see what else might be available.

My friends and I stayed here for a couple of nights while hiking in the mountains. Comfortable rooms and a friendly staff. We arrived late at night and the staff arranged for some food for us, even thou the kitchen was closed. The hotel is great value for money.

a good, very old-fashioned, classic hotel in the centre of Jasper. Primitive in parts – for example shared bathrooms, which is really not a problem given they are divided by gender and immaculately clean. Two large bars, populated by locals and are pleasant to pass time in. Sports TV. Reasonable prices. The sort of establishments won't exist for much longer.

Got a lucky last moment booking here for 120CAD during a very busy period, which is a good price for the area, though this waa with shared bathroom. The hotel has a strange charm akin to many B&Bs - it feels like it's been lifted straight out of the 1930s and would have been very grand some time ago. Personally...

This hotel is in a great location. After reading reviews I was expecting a very noisy hotel but my room was fine noise wise. The bed was super comfortable and room decoration cute. Despite sharing a bathroom, I didn't ever have to wait for a shower. I would book again. The only downside was that not all of the front...

All the hotels I was calling were booked last min in Jasper! They had vacancy so I took the room available with 2 single beds! It was 185.00 / night which I thought was steep but for Jasper it is a going rate. It was clean, beds were comfy but location was loud as we were on top of the...

Beautifully decorated old hotel. We booked 2 rooms and were told they were shared bathrooms. We thought the 2 rooms shared but at check-in we were on different floors and the bathrooms were shared between 10 rooms. The men's and women's each had 1 toilet stall and 1 tub/shower stall.

Kinda' cool, older hotel. Well kept. The stuffed animal heads seem oddly out of place these days. Let's assume they got hit by a train. Very central location. I guess they didn't prioritize sound proofing room-to-room at the turn of the century but hey, it's ok ... if you're the one making the noise!

You couldn't ask for a better location. Located right in the centre of Jasper, with gorgeous mountain views, this charming, clean and friendly hotel is just the best. The lobby is adorned with wall-mounted moose, elk and goat heads and leads to a very relaxed bar area, plus a welcoming restaurant. Our room was beautifully furnished, with squishy-soft carpet and...
