Many guests have called out the Jasper Inn & Suites for its commendable cleanliness, with particular praise for its well-maintained rooms and public spaces. The hotel's location also garners positive reviews for its tranquility and proximity to local attractions. However, opinions on the rooms are mixed; some visitors appreciate their spaciousness, while others point to their outdatedness and lack of modern comforts. The service experiences vary, with reports ranging from very attentive to less satisfactory, particularly regarding maintenance. While some guests find the hotel to be a good value, others feel it's overpriced. Amenities like kitchen features are a highlight, but the absence of air conditioning is a notable drawback. The cozy fireplaces contribute to a pleasant atmosphere, despite some remarks about the need for interior updates.

This place is eco conscious in that they suggest that you only place towels that need to be washed in the bathtub. A bath mat is for use which I always find useful as far as not slipping whilst standing in the bathtub for a shower. The staff were so very helpful and laundry powder was $1.
The kitchen was lacking nothing..Very large microwave oven, even though the placement of it was very odd. The beauty of staying in Jasper is of course, in winter , anyway, and probably summer also, is that elk come into town and at this location, they come into the gardens and walk along the path outside your room quite happily. It's a thrill. The restaurant is great and also the food. The pool looked inviting also. Like most accommodation in Jasper, it was a short walk to town. The laundry was good and there are ski lockers for every room I believe.

I love Jasper and area, but we seldom stay here as it gets very busy (not nearly as bad as Banff which is one of the reasons it is my fave) and, as such, is very expensive! We used this opportunity during Covid to have a wee getaway knowing that things would be different with C19 protocols in place. I found the rates still very expensive, so my expectations were aligned with the price we paid.

Restaurant had limited hours and the pool was closed, so we did not get to enjoy either of those to comment on.

Checkin and Location: Check in was very friendly. With strict C19 protocols in place, only 1 guest per room could enter the lobby and only 2 people in total could be in there at one time. We did not mind this at all and checkin was still quick. Location is just a short walk to their main downtown area where you can find everything you need/want.

Room: We had an executive room on the main floor at the back of the resort. So it was very quiet! I did not hear anyone else while we were there. It had a patio that overlooked a garden area. The room seemed a bit dated, but it was very large and spacious. It was very clean and had all amenities you could need/want.

Unfortunately, it did not have AC and it was 30+ degrees while we were there! (my mistake for assuming and not checking prior to making reservation) After being on a hot sweaty motorcycle all day, this was a bit disconcerting (again, based on price my expectations are higher). They provided us with a floor fan and we closed all the windows and curtains but I still found it very warm and difficult to sleep.(we were really having a tough go at sleeping on this trip (at all 3 hotels) for some reason). I am also aware that those temps are not "normal" and that we just chose the hottest week of the year to travel :-)

Bathroom was also incredibly large! Also somewhat dated, but it was clean so that was far more important to me!! It also had a very large 2 person hot tub in the bathroom!! I expected the typical jacuzzi type tub but not an actual hot tub in my room. :-) so it was our swimming pool instead . lol!

What I found odd, given that it was clearly a room designed for two, was that it had 2 queen sized beds. There was no option listed to have a King sized bed, which would have been our preference? Still, the bed was very comfortable.

All in all, an enjoyable stay nonetheless. I feel that the rates should be a tad lower based on some of the amenities and the age of the property. However, I am very well aware of supply and demand . We would probably stay here again in the off season when it is both more affordable ..and cooler :-)

Dear xmasbaby25 Thank you so much for your rating and review. Great to hear you enjoyed your time in our beautiful area! Yes, our room rates are relative to our area and comparable to the other properties in Jasper National Park. We have reduced our prices substantially this Summer due to no Pool Facility, no Breakfast option and no in-house housekeeping service, to reflect this. We do offer a variety of room configurations in our Executive Suites with hot tubs. Some have 1 Queen bed and 2 single beds and there are a few with a King bed on the top floor. Unfortunately the King Suites were sold out during your stay. Thank you again for sharing your experience and our apologies for any discomfort during the unusually hot weather during your stay. We look forward to the opportunity to host you again in the future. Sincerely The Jasper Inn & Suites Management Team

Our family stayed in the 2 bedroom suite in January 2020. We have in the past stayed in other establishments in Jasper that offer kitchen units, this one was head and shoulders above them. Comfortable beds, spacious room, and wonderfully friendly staff. Ample parking with plug in available. A little outdoor closet for storing ski equipment. Good food in the Inn Grill restaurant. Had a bit of a spill in our kitchen in our room and housekeeping came right away with a mop to help clean up. The kitchen needs a non stick frying pan, and the pool area seemed a bit dark but overall this was great value and comfortable stay for the family.

Stayed for 3 nights, June 19-22 2020. We had a loft room and it does have everything you need for a couple of days, but it does feel a bit cramped at times. The loft in the room we had was terribly hot, even after leaving the loft window open along with the fans going it was still very warm! Also, you end up getting a lot of early morning sunlight shining through the loft window when you have it open and it is bright, I'm talking 4:30 / 5:00 am sun was shining right in.
We had no trouble checking in and did express check out. No fire log was in the room when we entered, however, they do have them in the lobby, you only need to ask.
Absolutely, no smoking on balconies or rooms ($250) charge, they do have designated areas for smokers though.
The parking lots get very full and twice we had to park in other areas when coming back at 9-10 pm.
Of course with COVID, pool etc was not open and restaurant was on limited hours (didn't try it).
Some staff member walked into the room at 8:30 am on the morning we were leaving, no knocking or checking to see if we were in there first which really surprised us!

Stayed June 12-14 2020. had a great overall experience and would recommend to others. Having stayed in Jasper many times over the years this is one of the best hotels in the area! I especially enjoy having a kitchenette to go back to the hotel to cook in! i wish that the suite we stayed in had an actual oven as the microwave/oven combo is extremely small and does not cook evenly. Also having more kitchen supplies would be beneficial.

Very nice hotel with easy access to Jasper townsite. It was nice to have a loft for the kids. The kitchen was appropriately stocked with plates, cups, pots, etc. The renovations are well done. Access to pool, hot tub, spa and steam room was very good after a day exploring the park.

We enjoyed our stay at Jasper Inn & Suites - great location. We loved having a kitchenette so we could make our own meals. Bathroom was newly renovated and the shower was great with good pressure and warm water. Nice to have a fireplace and they supplied one log a day which is all we needed. They were very responsive to any requests - brought us fresh bedding for the pullout couch and extra pillows. Everyone we encountered were very friendly. Everyone should visit the bear paws bakery for their famous raspberry scones - they were amazing.

Stayed at the hotel for a few days at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic while skiing at Marmot. Most of the amenities at the hotel were closed (restaurant, pool, etc) but we have used them in the past to our satisfaction. When Marmot closed due to pandemic concerns, and our trip was cut short, the hotel was very accommodating in not charging us for the remaining days of our reservation. We will stay there again in the future.

When you go to a place expecting air-conditioning and a full restaurant ,and you get neither, plus being charged $200 plus dollars for a room that at very best is $100 on a good day. Price gouging!! I felt totally taken advantage of and would not recommend this place at all. I would highly recommend not staying here!! I definitely won't be booking woith them again unless they up their game and drop their prices!!

Dear 72Martin72 We are very sorry to hear of your disappointment in regards to your stay and your assumptions. It is noted on "booking.com" as well as our website and all third party websites that we do not have A/C on property. Unfortunately we are unable to offer our lovely breakfast buffet as this is not allowed due to the current Pandemic. Our Popular Inn Grill is still open for dine in or take out. Our room rates are relative to our area and comparable to the other properties in Jasper National Park. Our prices have been substantially reduced this Summer with the closure of our amenities and with housekeeping service not being offered during stayovers. Our room rates will actually return to standard Summer rates ( increase) for 2021 once the Pandemic is over. We do hope you enjoyed our beautiful area during these unprecedented times. Sincerely The Jasper Inn & Suites Management Team

One of the more affordable accommodations right in Jasper this inn still offers everything that the pricier hotels have. Spacious clean rooms, friendly helpful staff, sufficient parking with plugins, nice pool/ sauna facilities, awesome breakfast buffet for only $12.99, and board/ski lockers in hallways. We'll stay here again definitely.

There are pictures of all the various room configurations and whether they have balconies, etc. I started to give you link from my google search, but it is too long and probably has a limiter including my own current location. Just google for Best Western Alberta and you will get photo inset from which you can click on their website. I was happy with executive suite since it provided privacy between rooms and gave us double balcony. My original booking was for the two story loft setup, but we both needed a good bed to sleep in after having poor sleep in prior accommodations on our trip. There is outside area close to the patio restaurant where some people sit with their devices or books, etc.
