We stayed for two nights at the end of October/beginning of November. We were just looking for a relaxing little getaway and this did not disappoint. We were greeted by helpful, friendly front desk staff who explained all of the Covid protocols. Thanks Carrie! The hotel is clean and well kept. There was a lot of staff going around sanitizing common areas. Our room was on the main floor just outside the pool area/beautiful atrium. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We had dinner two nights at the Italian Table ( the restaurant on the premises) and both nights the food was excellent and the waiters very helpful and professional. To use the pool you just have to book your time with the front desk as there only 8 people allowed in the pool area at a time and only 1 person at a time in the hot tub (as per Covid protocols) I was delighted to find that the pool was a lovely temperature. On previous visits here, the pool has always been really chilly but it was a nice warm temperature this time. Great for swimming without freezing! If I'd known this sooner I would have swam more often! Guess I should have checked when we first got there. It was also lovely because I had the pool all to myself. Overall it was a very relaxing vacation and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Lethbridge

We recently travelled to Lethbridge for a couple's getaway. We were wonderfully surprised and pleased with the renovations, cleanliness, and service at the Sandman Signature Hotel. It has been over a decade since we last stayed there and the upgrade was needed.
The hotel is not pet friendly, an added bonus for us travelling with our pup. Walking trails behind the hotel out to the river coulee are easily accessible, providing great space and great views of this part of the city.
We were at the hotel when the highest covid restrictions were in place, which provided both plus and negatives to our getaway. We enjoyed the quiet, eating our meal in the privacy of our room with the doors open to the atrium.
The food from the Italian Table, the restaurant located in the hotel was a culinary delight. Definitely looking forward to returning and enjoying the dining room experience. The service and staff were delightful.
Overall, very enjoyable. This was our preferred hotel 3 decades ago and now has returned to the top of the list.

I felt the hotel was okay! We stayed for 2 nights. The room faced atrium - which I thought would be beautiful, which it was. BUT the noise from children in the pool does echo... this was our error. We did not have cleaning in the room while there. We took the stairs to avoid contact with people in elevators. There were chips/food that was on the carpeted stairs for the 3 days that was never cleaned. Also using the luggage cart to take suitcases to/from rooms had lots of animal hair. I will probably look for a non-animal hotel in future. Gave a 4 for property as location was great to walk out to the coulees.

My co-worker and I were in the Lethbridge area. We were booked at a different hotel. It was absolutely horrible so I called The Sandman Signature. I am so happy that they were able to accommodate us. We had a beautiful room overlooking the courtyard. The beds were so comfortable and the towels were so thick. The front desk staff were also absolutely amazing. I am travelling back to Lethbridge and have already booked my stay at this hotel again. The Italian Table, which is a restaurant attached to the hotel, is well worth dining at.

The staff has been so accommodating and the whole premises is really well taken care of. The atrium setting that the rooms overlook is beautiful and really gives a nice, tropical feel. We slept with our balcony door open and could hear the pleasant sound of the waterfall subtlety in the distance. The atrium also looks quite beautiful when it is lit up in the evening. Rooms are also very well maintained and comfy.

Location is great with downtown just to the east and the High Level bridge to the west(check it out at sunset if you can).

We also ate at the restaurant, food was good and our server, Ty, was exceptional.

We’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the years and are so happy to report that it’s maintained its charm.

We were given a room with a view of the Coolies and Lethbridge's Viaduct commonly know as the High Level Bridge. It crosses the Oldman River, it carries railway and is maintained by Canadian Pacific Railway.
We were also given a better rate on the room, then when we booked the room.
We have had excellent service every time we have stayed at this Sandman Signature and would recommend this Sandman to anyone.

My daughter and I were blessed that my incredible insurance company Aviva put us in the Sandman the same day as our house fire, for five months! In such a traumatic event, and being Christmas plus Covid, we were fully welcomed by the ENTIRE hotel staff. They accommodated my daughter and I plus our four animals without a blink of an eye. Jay, the hotel manager made it known from the beginning of our time that he would do anything to make it easier on us. He stood true to his word. Carrie, Sam and Rob all whom work the front desk went out of their way each and every time we walked in making sure we were okay. Gemma (our husky) felt like she was in doggy paradise with each treat, pat and constant adoration from the staff. The caretaking staff.. Joyce and her incredible, hard working team are also to be commended. Covid has increased the cleaning demand; but the ladies put their capes on and kept everyone healthy and the hotel stayed impeccably clean. I never ran out of coffee, towels or anything one would need. I cannot forget to compliment the hotel maintenance Dennis. He didn’t let anything slide, not for a minute. His friendly and hardworking demeanour pays off for the Sandman. It is difficult to express how the staff blend as one beautiful family. I cannot adequately express how incredible the sandman is. The atrium is pure peace; and so well maintained. The rooms were very comfortable; believe me after five months I would know! I had the suite and it was like my own private condo (with the most beautiful tub I have ever been in!) My daughter had a room facing the atrium and pool. She said it got her through the depression of the cold winter and the losses from our fire. The coulees are directly behind the hotel with well maintained paths. The next time I stay there, and there will be a next time :) it will be for pleasure, as I am certain no other hotel in Lethbridge will give you the same experience. If you love pasta, you won’t be disappointed with the restaurant or their staff. Again, I have so many positive things to say, I just cannot find the words to do so.

We have a long history of staying at this hotel, formally the Lethbridge Lodge. We had not stayed there in years, and the last time we stayed, the rooms were dated and unkept. Our visit recently was nothing but pleasurable.

The updated rooms are very modern and comfortable. Excellent beds and bedding (best ever), a great shower, easy check in and check out, all staff that we dealt with were so kind and helpful.

The restaurant was very good.

The pool was cold, made it hard to enjoy a swim, but we may have caught it on a maintenance day because by the next morning, the pool had already started to warm up. The hot tub is very small and could use a refresh (it was packed).

Breakfast in the morning (express breakfast) was great service, great venue, food was alright. We were told there is a breakfast buffet on the weekends that is very good, but we needed to leave before the buffet started.

We found it quiet, you could hear people running water and walking through the halls by 8 AM otherwise zero complaints.

We would absolutely stay there again, and would recommend it to others.

I love coming to this hotel. The front desk clerks are all so very friendly. I come down for business regularly so have a really wonderful time getting to know everyone.

This last visit there was a snow storm and I was given a heads up about the road conditions that morning and was recommended to stay another night if they didn’t clear up. The roads were still bad after I was done my work so I came back and they managed to hook me up with a fantastic room again.

During the times I stayed when I was able to I enjoyed swimming in the pool and the courtyard is my favourite to look upon with the sound of rushing water from my room when I open the balcony door.

This is a caring hotel and I would recommend it to anyone staying in Lethbridge.

Stayed at the property in March 2020 in one of the king bed rooms. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was friendly and check in was very quick. The hotel offers quite a few amenities such as a 24 hr gym, pool and restaurant.

The few things I would say were negatives were the breakfast in the morning was quite bland. The pillows were nice but very bulky. If you are someone that likes a smaller pillow you may be out of luck.
