So we had a hard time checking into the ECONO LODGE across the street and we booked online and we were denied cause we didn’t have their kind of credit card we even offered a deposit and even though they looked like they had 5 vehicles in the parking lot the denied us our service so we went across the street and we were checked into the Travelodge within 5 minutes. I was late coming down for breakfast but the manager was very sweet and opened up the breakfast bar for me to get whatever! They had delicious muffins, bagels, hot chocolate, juice, yogurt toast and waffles. Everything was fresh and delicious. They had all the foods I enjoy for breakfast and then some! The manager was friendly and had top notch customer service. My mom was manager at a hotel in Medicine Hat and he was just as good as she was with her staff and I thought she was the best! We had a little bit of an issue thinking our room was hot and a staff member helped us out with this issue right away. And then when we were eating supper in the restaurant which had yummy food the manager came and wanted to double check the ac and I mean how many ppl get that kind of service?! I’ve never been showered with this much care in a hotel the staff has went above and beyond with EVERYTHING! I recommend anyone to stay here. You might think it a little older but as soon as you check into your room it’s all updated. The rooms were cleaned to my highest standards! Comfortable beds and pillows! Very clean bathrooms! Housekeeper had a little bit of trouble speaking English but the supervisor came up and helped me right away gave us extra shampoos and conditioner! Stay here you definitely get your moneys worth! You won’t be disappointed!

We stayed here in August of this year for 2 weeks ( It was business that took us to Alberta Canada) I must say we were impressed to no end with Lethbridge and this hotel. Lethbridge is midwest feeling city. The hotel is on the main drag. For one week in Summer they close the boulevard for drag racing. Yuki and Preet at the desk were so welcoming and kind our stay here was comfortable and safe home away from home a safe distance from ' downtown' It's a family run business we came to learn they recently bought the property and are taking a great deal of pride in operating it as such. On (Main Street of) MaGrath Drive we were close to everything. Literally across the street from a gorgeous golf course which itself is next to the renowned Japanese gardens. Theres a stadium 5 minutes walk and we found all sorts of shopping nearby. Note this is not "downtown" - but there really isn't much downtown and we were in Lethbridge on business anyhow. Theres an FANTASTIC restaurant inside the hotel (owned by the family) and my word the food is 5 star no word of a lie. I swear there's no reason to eat elsewhere while your in town. In fact this restaurant should be a destination even if you are staying somewheres else. If you do go out for food ( and we did a few times) theres all the major casual fine options hop skip and jump on the Mayor MaGrath.

Struggling to find a hotel last minute on a busy weekend, called Wyndham to ask about the Ramada. It was booked but he helpfully offered Travelodge, which was going for a surprisingly reasonable rate. The staff were so helpful, and we got the impression the manager was very anxious to provide the best experience for his guests. Breakfast was well stocked with hot and cold options—saved us the cost of that meal on our trip. Room wasn’t fancy but was clean and comfortable. We were very pleased with our stay.

My daughter booked this hotel for a date night for her anniversary it was disgusting it was blood on the Bible the room was crusty the staff was rude her first impression was people go there to die. They refused to refund her after staying for only 20 minutes. As a coordinator for minor hockey I would not recommend this hotel to any team

Finally after three tries we got a room that was not filthy. Upon checking in it seemed fine and then we noticed dirty pillow cases and pulled back bedding and the mattress should have been destroyed. The manager showed us to another room and when he went over to the bed and inspected...long black hairs all over it. He left the room yelling at his staff that were on the floor cleaning other rooms. So after attempts to leave because he had initially told us he was totally booked, he found another room around the corner that was somewhat renovated and updated a little. It was very apparent there had been no deep cleaning of the hotel rooms in the recent year at the very least. To his credit, he apologized and tried to make it right but it was very apparent the staff didn't care to do a good job and the overall appearance reflected very low standards.

Went back after a good experience long before Covid.

When arriving with my sister (who tagged up with me after I made the reservation for a 4 night stay) we had trouble seeing the single handicapped spot for the property. They really need to repaint the spot, and if a signpost were added it would make it more visible!

When checking in, we were chastised for not putting two people on the reservation. I tried to explain to her that I updated the reservation on line to two beds but was not given an option to change the number of people. She STILL went on about it! I can't fault anyone but Wyndham as it was their rewards site that I booked thru.

Getting on to the elevator was interesting. Some of the floor buttons did not light (either on the board or above the door, so it was pot luck that you got to the correct floor.

The room we got was really dated and needed repairs. The AC did not appear to work when playing with the thermostat -- seemed like a constant 20C in the room even thought it was well over 30C outside. There was peeling wall paper, not enough plugs for devices. BUT all that being said the beds were comfy and that was the most important part.

Not surprisingly, housekeeping was by request, but what really surprised us was that when we requested it, the bathroom was totally missed! We got fresh towels from the front desk, that evening, and when we returned to the hotel the following afternoon - bathroom was done. I am chalking this snafu up to them being short staffed like everyone else.

We didn't do the complimentary breakfast every morning but were reasonably impressed with the breakfast provided. We were a bit late, and were given a demo of their new automatic pancake maker! I still prefer the waffles, but this is less messy for the kids to use.

Overall I think they had intended to do renos, but Covid got in the way and they need to get some capital built up to continue the work.

Not a bad experience but not great either!

When in Lethbridge we always stay at the Travelodge at 526 Mayor Magrath Drive S. It’s walking distance to Henderson Park. And has fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee in the rooms. Not only that, but complimentary breakfast is included. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Love the Travelodge!

Staff were unable to refund my deposit on my credit card and had pay it back in cash. Breakfast room was filthy and had broken appliances. Fire hose cabinet was broken with large pieces of glass hanging, extremely dangerous. Fitness room was filthy and had empty booze bottles. Room wasn't completely clean and needs to be updated. Not staying there again.

Within a lower price range, this is an excellent choice for accommodations in Lethbridge. I stayed for two nights and was completely satisfied with the quality of in-room amenities, as well as the comfort/quiet of the room and the substantial breakfast buffet. As a flight attendant, I have travelled for 33 years for work, and I can’t ever remember hotel staff nicer than the ones here: very cheery and flexible with my requests. For a comfortable rest without spending much money, I highly recommend this Travelodge in Lethbridge.

Needed a place for one night and booked The Travelodge. It was a little dated but was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast had a nice choice of hot and cold items. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. For a lower priced hotel we were more than happy with our stay and would have no problem recommending the Travelodge.
