Between dirty rooms, broken appliances, door locks broken lights not working shower leaking and junkies shooting up in the parking lot seems like a safe place to go. Staff are rude and uneducated. Continental breakfast looks like it came out of the garbage. I witnessed three different drug deals happening the parking lot. The non-stop clearly stolen bikes coming and going and bike parts by the dumpster. Cops there almost daily. people living here are drug addicts. There was needles in the parking lot and some kind of drug pipe in the bathroom. It's best to just stay away and make sure your children stay away too.

This "hotel" is a glorified homeless shelter. It is filthy and dangerous. If you stay here be sure to remove all valuables from your vehicle otherwise they'll be gone in the morning. Truly disgusting.

Last night l, was night 5 out of 7 that we are booked into the Super lodge Lethbridge, firstly the staff is so amazing and hospitable they have gone above and beyond to ensure we are having a great stay. My husband is in town working and I'm visiting. The rooms are big airy and clean with big fluffy pillows and comforters. The water is great in the shower and our room is loaded with a full size fridge, TV, cable, Wi-Fi, microwave and coffee station! There is a BBQ available for guest use, along side a beautiful green belt and outdoor pool, which is closed for the season, but you can see the care taken in winterizing the space! I CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK NEXT SUMMER WITH THE KIDS. The proximity to down town is great for business travellers, the water tower grill can be seen out our window and a short walk away is the movie cinemas, a row of chestnut trees, shopping, the Japanese gardens and much more. Breakfast is served in a beautiful breakfast room, in the main lobby, prepared daily by the hotel manager with obvious pride. Eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, breads, jams, Yogurt, cereal, oatmeal and beverages are on the menu and well maintained. The hotel features the New Saigon Oriental Noodle house. Number 24 on the menu is great and I'm addicted to the bubble tea! Taro and avocado are my favs so far. All in all, it is of course the staff that make a stay fantastic. It's the hospitality and professionalism at this establishment that has me raving in this review! Manager Sharon- who can be found at the front of house- ensuring her guest are all satisfied and maintaining a prestine hotel while running a team of efficient and polite well trained staff. Sharon also takes personal pride in the breakfast room and can been seen daily ensuring it's above par! Heather checked me in and was so helpful and remained so attentive and accommodating throughout our entire stay and we think she deserves a big shout out!!! (What a hard working lady m'gosh!) Did I mention that the prices have zero competition?? AMAZING RATES!! I'd give 10 stars if I could, however you get a big 5 out of 5 from me! Satisfied guest at the SUPERLODGE LETHBRIDGE!! Cortney B. This place is absolutely disgusting. between finding out on THE NEWS (no mention from staff) there was a major fentanyl bust here the day we checked in is a little disheartening. especially when bringing children to stay with you. There was dried vomit on the side of the bed. the corner of the room smelled like urine. Our safety lock on the door was broken. the shower was leaking water onto the bathroom floor which was FILTHY. there was a sign in the "kitchen" to unplug to A/C before using any appliances. The "locals" living there harassing us for money. And this is just our room. We stayed with a group who also booked rooms here and EVERYONE had some sort of issue with their room. Ontop of that they raised the prices for the weekend we come to stay here yet offer nothing in return for the higher expense. No maintenance staff working on one of lethbridges busiest weekends? ridiculous. This place has gone down hill in the 6 years i have been coming here and I guarantee this is the last time.I do not feel safe with "ALL THE MONTHLY GUESTS HAVE MASTER KEYS!!!" AS PER "MANAGEMENT". Scary stuff! Stay away.

Thank you very much for the review. We work with police very closely when something like this happens as it’s hard to know what a drug dealer looks like when they check into a room. What we do is look for heavy traffic with in and out of our property and notify police if we are suspicious of any wrongdoing. We do not want these types of guest staying at our hotel and are happy to work with police to get drugs off the streets. As far as cleanliness of the room, I apologize if staff may have missed something as big as what you say. We do have steam and carpet cleaners on hand and enzyme eater for any biological contamination and take pride in keeping clean rooms. We do not give master room cards to any residents of the hotel as that would be a huge security risk. Any staff cards are signed out at the front desk when needed or handled by our management who live at the property. Maintenance staff has been switched to work on weekends since your stay and the older shower heads have also been replaced when cracks are found. Thank you for letting us know about your room and have since changed it over. When no vacancy, we do bring prices up that’s part of doing any business on busy weekends. We strive to give the best service no matter how much we charge for the room and apologize for your experience this time around.

This motel/glorified hard walled tent has gone further and further down hill as years go by. I don’t like to leave nasty or negative reviews on any establishment, however the rude hag of a manager Sharon and her mediocre and uneducated staff actually make me roll my eyes. We arrived with a child to stay in our non smoking room. We stayed in 111 and the room was NOT non smoking, ash tray in the room, no label on the door like all other rooms. Bathroom floor was soaked with water spraying from the shower which caused me to slip. Not to mention the fried vomit on the box spring on one of the beds. The mould in the shower between the tiles is a health risk. My favourite is the electrical nightmare of a “kitchen” that I do not believe is close to up to code. There is a taped note to unplug the AC unit prior to using ANY kitchen appliance. Let’s not talk about the cleanliness of this room, or safety. They don’t have maintenance staff on Saturday's, the manager constantly argues and tells you you are incorrect, coming from a travel industry professional this is hands down the WORST excuse of a “motel” I have ever stepped foot in. If she would like to run a homeless shelter I’m sure she could get a govt grant to do so and it would actually be an improvement!
