Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
So many hotels have signs telling you they are doing their bit to save the environment then proceed to wash and change the towels and linens every day even when you indicate you are fine to reuse them. This hotel has taken the extra step of usung large size pump bottles for bathroom amenities. Kudos to the Coast!

Staff at checkout were very friendly and quick. Room was nice and clean. Room was a little hot when we checked in but quickly cooled off once we put the A/C on (we prefer a cool room). We put the do not disturb on during our stay and we met the housekeeper and she asked how the stay was and if we needed anything which was nice. Great location easy access to everything in Lethbridge. Quiet clean rooms and comfortable beds. Everything I look for in a hotel. Would definitely stay again when in Lethbridge.

this hotel is very clean so one immediately feels comfortable staying there. The rooms are sanitized including door knobs, light switches, tv. remote etc, bed linens are snow white so its easy to feel comfortable and safe during your stay, we are very happy with this venue and will go again.

I chose this hotel based on experiences at other Coast properties and because I got a good corporate rate. This place came nowhere close to those other experiences and I am left to wonder how it is even part of the same brand. As other reviews mention, it is an older property which is not a problem in itself if well maintained and updated. This place looks and feels very tired. Management has some real challenges here in that the place is fundamentally weird in its layout and decor. Location is great and quite central, but the parking lot does feel sketchy. Front and centre is the entrance to a gaming room with a big VLT sign. The lobby is cavernous and cold. The hallways are clean but weirdly faux I don't know... My room was clean, reasonably quite and I felt safe enough, but the mattress was dead and lifeless, the pillows as another has described were large chunks of foam in a pillowcase. There were no USB charging ports, lamps and furnishings were battered and chipped. The bathroom door looked like it had come from a big box hardware store and cut down to fit without the cut edges even being painted. Management will likely reply to this review to say they are sorry and need to work harder to meet my expectations as they have told other reviewers. There are some very basic things that could be done to address comfort and overall impressions, and until that is done, I will look elsewhere if I need a place in Lethbridge again.

I stayed there a couple of years ago and it seemed like a nice place to stay but my recent visit has put a sour taste in my mouth. Attached are pictures from our room.
You will notice the ripped window shears. Wires hanging down from tv Horribly worn out chair
In addition, the elevator smelled so bad of mildew and stale smoke we didn’t use it for the entire stay. It was reported on the first day and also noted that there was significant moisture noticed in the light panels above. The desk staff responded by saying they would notify maintenance. Later in the evening I used the elevator again and could clearly sense that an air freshener was used but the stench was still unbearable.
It’s really sad that when you see the fancy lobby and fancy restaurant you’d expect the same in your room. Only to be staying in a 3rd rate seedy motel room

I stayed in this hotel in early July 2020. Everything was very nice. I decided I wouldn't be using the fitness or pool facilities during my stay because of COVID, but apparently the staff was doing additional cleaning of the facilities, supporting physical distancing, and allowing access only by reservation. Additional cleaning policies were in place for common areas and hotel rooms, and they went above and beyond when I asked for a room that hadn't been occupied for 1 or 2 nights (and they got me into a room that had been vacant for the prior 3 nights). Very friendly, helpful staff, and a very comfortable stay.

Apart from our room carpet needing some serious cleaning, our hotel stay was wonderful. Location is walking distance from the Water Tower Grill and having Firestone Restaurant on site was very convenient. Food was great at the restaurant, pool was a nice size, and room was relatively clean. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

We have stayed here on 3 separate occasions ( on a business visit) It has always been great, on this occasion we booked a suite as we have 2 kids, one is a very young infant. The suite was great- had a living area, kitchenette and bedroom, electric fireplace. Parking is free . The staff are polite & helpful. The hotel is quiet , clean with the staff maintaining Covid protocols. This hotel is conveniently situated- close to all amenities, it is on Mayor Macgrath Drive which is the Main artery of Lethbridge I would also like to thank the Coast for giving me a Healthcare workers discount- buy one night, get the second free!!

I accidentally left behind my apple watch charger here which costs $80 to replace. I’ve now called 5 times to try to get it mailed back to me. They’ve told me it’s there but every time i call they tell me they don’t know how to mail an item and they’ll get a manager to contact me. I haven’t received one call back. It’s an insane level of incompetence. I’ve left behind items at hotels before and it’s never been complicated. They charge your card and send the item. For some reason this basic task is too complicated for the hotel. I’ve been promised 5 calls back and not once has anyone bothered to contact me. I would never recommend a hotel that can’t comprehend even the basic level of customer service as returning a phone call.

As previously mentioned, you can have a nice sized room with one queen size bed in it and call it a Handicapped Room, however if a 6" lip is at the entrance, or if the shower is not set up properly, it's not much use to me is it. I need the hand rails, I need the walk-in shower, I need the available handheld showerhead. Make sure the water does NOT drain onto the bathroom floor because that makes an extreme hazard for us. Maybe have a shower bench seat as some Hotels offer as well. Now you can say that you have a Handicapped Room (or whatever they are calling them now).

I believe they do, I can't claim to have stayed in one, but I do recall ramps from the lobby to the room area, which is slightly elevated from the Lobby.
They are very friendly folk. Give them a ring 1- 403-327-5701
