We were thrilled with the hotel upon check-in, with friendly staff, a newly renovated lobby, pleasant exterior (newly renovated or painted). The interior hallway was clean with nice decor. We though our room was spacious, and very clean UNTIL we notice the bathtub. The bottom of the tub looked very dirty and was stained - we were a bit shocked. We immediately asked to move rooms, but they couldn't accommodate our request. We asked for a rubber tub mat, but they looked and didn't have any, so they did provided us with extra floor towel matts to use in the tub instead. If it hadn't been for the tub, this hotel would have gotten an "excellent" rating, as it was otherwise clean, quiet, and very affordable. We also appreciated the channel selection on the TV, which included the commercial free and relaxing Frame Channel and Music Channels.…
Tub has thick layer of grime, .5 inches of dust on the bath fan, lights are old and falling apart, floor creaks everywhere, office chair is falling apart and I only weigh 120lbs. Residue from flies on smoke detector and picture/window/door frames implies I should be glad it's still snowy. Dead insect collection in the light fixture. Microwave unclean. Drawers are nasty. Alarm clock is covered in thick gooey sludge. Wallpaper peeling. Marks on walls and bad paint jobs. I don't stay in hotels, but now I am really glad I don't and afraid to sleep tonight.
Fine for a night, reception is clean and nice as is the breakfast room - the halls are a bit old and worn - could do with adding USB plugs to the bedrooms as most hotels have them now a days. Good location for lots of easy access to Lethbridge
This is a decent little hotel and is very competitively priced. It is conveniently located along Mayor MaGrath Drive thus allowing you easy access to restaurants and shopping areas. We checked in quite late and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The room was a bit on the small side but was still comfortable; however I did find that the bathroom was a bit on the dirty side of the spectrum and could probably do with a bit more attention from the cleaning staff. The complimentary breakfast provided a good start to the day. All in all a decent place to stay whilst visiting Lethbridge.
Hotel is 3 minutes to the Chinook Regional Hospital. Close to all shopping. Costco, Walmart etc... Room was good. The bathroom is small. Low toilet. Liked that you can access room from parking lot. Also has inside door to hallway so can get to lobby and breakfast area without having to go outside.
