The hotel setup is really nice, grand ballroom staircase leads to the second floor and breakfast dining area. The rooms are really clean and stocked with everything you’d expect at a hotel. Indian restaurant inside the hotel was 5 star and had the best mixed drinks ever not to mention cheapest I’ve seen in the province it was a wonderful surprise. Front desk manager Joanne makes everything feel like home and will make you’re stay extra special at no extra cost 5 star customer service. House keepers Katie and company are friendly and always go go go (hard workers) and will always smile and help you with anything you require. You have Tim Hortons and London drugs across the road. You can’t ask for a better experience.l for the wife and kids. If the room was $149 I would say the exact same compliments but somehow this gem is only costing 79-100$ a night , absolutely my first choice in Medicine Hat. It is pet friendly and also has a 30 machine Video lottery section with bar/food attached beside the Indian restaurant. Don’t pass on this hotel.

Was very impressed with this hotel. Price was great, included breakfast was great - hot items, bakery bagels, good coffee. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Would have been nice to have an assortment of pillow thicknesses - like most hotels, there were only thick pillows and I like thin ones. Room was roomy, although bathroom was a bit cramped - however it did have a full size tub and water flow and temperature was good for bath or shower.

We were on our way home from Lethbridge but travel not recommended and road closures in Saskatchewan so we decided to stop in Medicine Hat. Stopped to check for a room at the Baymont and were greeted by a lovely young lady, Sukhman . Sukhman went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were able to get a room at a very reasonable price and it included a complimentary breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and spacious with plenty of plug-ins to charge electronics etc.
The complimentary breakfast had quite a selection of juices, muffins, bread, bagels, English muffins, cereals, eggs, sausage and potatoes.I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to others!

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The lobby is bright, clean and open with high ceilings. We stayed in room 109 with our Australian Labradoodle CoCo. This is a pet friendly hotel. The room had a nice crisp clean decor. The bathroom is nice. Not a friendly accessibility room, I have mobility issues but was able to get in and out of the bath. I am sure they do have accessibility rooms. There is a trick to get the shower on, turn on the water then pull the bottom of the faucet DOWN! We have never seen this type of shower to faucet relationship! Took a few minutes but well worth the effort. Other than dirt under a chair (obviously the chair has not been moved from its corner when the room was vacuumed!) AND the floor and baseboaed behind the door of the bathroom needs to be cleaned. The free breakfast was amazing. Juice, coffee, bagels cereal, milk, muffins, bagels, toast sausage, scramled eggs, cubed hash browns and all wafelucious. Booked a room with a hot tub in it, to find out it did not work, reported on the first day of arrival, reception refused to send someone to fix it and they did not offer to move us to a different room. After the first nite staying at this hotel ,the next day I went back to reception a couple of times, they managed to send someone to the room, but the guy had no clue how to fix it. We stayed for two nights in room that we pay for a hot tub to be working, after asking reception could I speak to a manager the lady just laughed at front desk as this was dued to poor English, so overall not a good experience.

Upon checking, we were asked to pay 2 nights stay using a card, however, we have already got charged on the website. No refund has been issued upon addressing this issue.
Receptionist forgot to return drivers license so I had to remind her to give it back to me.
A/C split system was so noisy that we had to wake up in the middle of the night.
Free continental breakfast was prepared by someone who does not wear a hair net. Found hair in the eggs.

On April 19/20, 2022 we stayed here because we were at a volleyball tournament for our grandson. Rm 120 was $149 on the Friday night and $229 for Saturday because of the tournaments in town. King room recently renovated. No carpet - flooring was icy cold especially the bathroom. Couldn't get TV to work so called night manager and he had to climb on the table to turn on the cable box BEHIND the TV which we hadn't even seen (he said it should have been on). Outlet for hairblower did not work so asked at front desk to have it looked at during the day while we were gone. When we got back before supper it hadn't been fixed and our room had not been cleaned. Called front desk and was told cleaning staff had already gone home. Manager called someone who came and (wouldn't you know it) the hair blower worked. The next morning when I went to use it, again not working. It turns out that the wiring for that outlet was connected to the entry light and NOT the switch that said "Leave On". We figured that out by ourselves.
The towels were extremely stiff and rough. We paid $423 for 2 nights and I don't think we got our money's worth from a ****star hotel. Very disappointed. Will never stay there again. The breakfast bar was ok but no staff were keeping an eye on it and you had to yell down at the desk manager who would come up and replenish the supplies.

Bed was not fit to sleep in with no support and massive sink hole in the entire centre, and customer service and management response was terrible. Front desk clerks although friendly enough claimed they were unable to help (no other rooms available, not authorized to provide compensation etc). When I complained again at checkout I discovered I’d already been fully billed for the stay the night before (not just the deposit/credit check - actually billed) and when I asked to speak to a manager was told he wasn’t there, was really busy with lots of other Wyndham hotels, but they’d get him to call me (rigghhht). I asked for my own contact info just in case and after cajoling was reluctantly provided an email address and a first name only. No phone number apparently available and the guys name is a secret?. Of course the emails to this supposed GM have gone answered and no attempt ti reach out. Shady billing practice being charged long before check out and then told that was part of why the room couldn’t be discounted. In summary: rooms clean, bed awful, terrible management. Lots of choice in Medicine. Stay elsewhere - not at a Wyndham.

First vacay in 3 years…..awoken at 7:15am by housekeeping vacuuming outside our room door. Also the complimentary breakfast only runs until 9:00 am….so definitely no sleeping in. They collect a $200 deposit for rooms and can take up to 15 days to release your funds. The room itself was nice. Comfortable and clean. Too bad we couldn’t really enjoy a leisurely sleep in and breakfast. Guess it would be ok for those who are on a working trip or who don’t mind getting up early on their days off.
