We had a great three days at the Hampton the staff were very happy, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was awesome... loved the fresh waffles! The rooms were large, clean and laid out well. We did use the pool it was nice. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Convenient location on gasoline alley, very friendly staff. Spacious room with coffee (regular and decaf) and tea (large assortment) in lobby at all times, as I believe all Hamptons have. I didn’t have a chance to use the gym but it looked great and well maintained – there were a number of individuals using it throughout our 1 night stay, but it never looked crowded, even for a busy weekend. Pool and hot tub needs some resurfacing – very rough ground in spots. Pool towels ran out during our stay but it was a busy night the night before and the staff were more than helpful to track down towels. Great breakfast. We would stay here again!

From the moment you walk in the front doors, you are made to feel welcome. Newer hotel with very nice rooms. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The cookies and complimentary coffee and tea at the front desk are a nice addition. Mario was friendly and an amazing ambassador for the hotel. Complimentary breakfast was really well done with lots of options.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Red Deer for one night while on the south end of Red Deer for business.
Pros: ample free parking, close to the highway, close to restaurants, large suite room
Cons: general maintenance/upkeep, loud old style air conditioner, awkward bathroom/sink placement in suite, breakfast offering (half missing and the remainder inedible).
I felt valued as an hhonours member, and received an upgrade to junior suite style room. It was large but worn. There was no remote for the TV and the sink is awkwardly placed right near the bed, so not great if you have two people and value sleep etc. No safe in room. Breakfast was horrible, to be honest. So many items missing, and the rest was dismal. I ended up eating a bowl of cereal and getting more food elsewhere.
Staff were very kind and nice. Decent enough hotel if you need to be in gasoline alley.

I’ve stayed at numerous Hampton in the past and am currently at this one, in Res Deer’s Gasoline Alley.
I would not choose this hotel again.
We are spending the evening having decided to take our daughter for a chance to spend the day in the pool. The problem is, the pool is absolutely stone cold.
There is cold water pumping into it by the jets, and three different people have requested the temperature be increased, at the front desk.
Despite assurances that a maintenance guy would be by, he has not shown up.
The hot tub is packed to the rim with everyone, while the pool is basically empty. Those braving the cold water quickly run back to the hot tub.
The floor of the pool and hot tub are in poor repair (and the jets in the hot tub don’t work.
Our room is adequate though the shower won’t warm up past a mild lukewarm temp.

Second time I stayed in a Hampton! . This branch is a bit out of Red Deer but there are lots of restaurants in walking distance and the room rate make it worthy to stay out of town and drive back to city. We asked for a room away from highway and we got 328. It was super quite and we slept like a baby! Bed also were so comfortable. Overall, I am going to keep Hampton in mind as one of the first choices in my future travels.

Had a great experience at this hotel. Clean room. Like that there’s a fan option on thermostat - drowns out noise. Only thing that needs improvement is shower head - it was quite poor.
Breakfast selection was adequate. Great location- lots of food options and shopping nearby.
Check in/out was fast and friendly.

We stayed here for 1 night in a king studio room, it was very spacious and clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was a breakfast included but at the present time it isn’t serve yourself and you can take it back to your room to eat. It’s my second time staying here and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is a great location, at the middle of everything, so many restaurants close by, a cinema just 2 mins away. We enjoyed our hot breakfast every morning. The room was super clean, with comfy pillows. Friendly staff, willing to assist you anytime. Overall our stay was worth it.

Having a $70 a night pet fee is absolute robbery. It is increased if you stay for 5+ nights. Why? The cleaning is the same. I usually love the Hampton hotels and choose to stay with Hilton but this will make me rethink my bookings in the future...
