This place is amazing to stay. It was very short and quick decision with trying to find a hotel to stay last night. We decided to stay here because of the family suite they had to offer plus swimming pool and the water slide. My kids tried the water slide and hot tub both. Then went back to our room. Massive suite can accommodate almost up to eight to nine family members. Everything were top notch. Super clean rooms. Slept like baby. Very quite. Honestly didn't want to wake up. They do have amazing restaurant provide delicious food. Sadly we had to leave very early. We will definitely stay here again. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for bigger suites, clean and comfortable sleep and delicious food. All comes under one roof.

We held an event at the Holiday Inn - Gasoline Alley and were very pleased with the venue and how smoothly everything ran. The property itself was pristine and the banquet room was perfect for the event. The staff is courteous, professional and very accommodating to the needs of their guests. There was always a staff member at arms reach to answer any questions or simply check in on us. The guest rooms and common areas are very clean. The restaurant is highly recommended as well. Definitely 5 stars to this hotel.

The hotel is a bit hard to find, as it does not have a direct connection with the main road. You can easily find a spot to park your car, check-in is smooth. The room itself was clean and functional, but the colors could be more bright, it is now in dark colors.
What was really bad: I got an electric shock when I used the light switch at the side of the bed. I could literally see a spark. Mentioning this at the lobby, they asked if I could see any wire, and that was about it. This is the reason for my very low rating.
On the better side: the restaurant has an exceptional amount of dinner options, and the food was good for a reasonable price. Breakfast does not offer buffet, food was served fairly quickly.

Although I see that there are multiple things you did enjoy about our property, we see that the light switch issue was a problem. We did have our maintenance team check out the light switch and it was ok, It might have been an issue with static electricity that can be a problem, this time of year as it is very dry. My company booked me a room for the night here as there is close proximity to truck parking. The check in process was smooth with no issues, and the lobby was clean and empty of any people. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bed was not too soft but not too hard, and I fell asleep easily. I had a view of the highway but I didn't hear it at night, although I could hear it when I woke up, but for me it's not a big deal. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low, but everything worked so not a problem. The restaurant was closed when I arrived, but there were signs saying it was open from Thurs-Sat and their hours. Over all I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for a night in late September while attending a business conference. Their hotel was clean and the rooms well equipped. The only real interaction I had with staff took place while checking in and several weeks later over the phone when requesting a receipt. Polite and efficient on both occasions. Parking is plentiful, wifi is good but there is some noise from the highway that I found disturbing during the night. Other than the conference room, I didn't use any of the facilities at the hotel. Within a short drive and across the main highway there are several reasonable restaurants.

I work in red deer two weeks a month and I’ve been trying different hotels in this price range around town. This is by far my favourite! It’s clean, quiet, the restaurant has great food and the staff have been wonderful. Location is convenient too being right off the highway.

I stay often at the HI on Gasoline Alley. The check in staff are always friendly and courteous, and remember me by name most times. The rooms are spotless, comfortable and have plenty of space. The restaurant is top notch and has local craft beer on tap. (awesome!). I rarely use the pool but it is big, generally there are families enjoying it. The fitness facility is well stocked. I haul a trailer and there is always lots of parking with overflow just across the street. Location is spot on if you are coming or going on HWY 2.

We checked in for one night so our kids could swim. The hotel allowed one hour pool bookings per family per day (Covid). We booked one session per day and were also allowed to swim for two additional hours and have a late checkout because no one had booked the pool! The hotel staff was so friendly and gave us two free kids meals to eat at Boulevard. The food and service at the restaurant were fantastic as well. Definitely recommend!

We stayed with our team for a soccer tournament. The breakfast included with our team package was good. Eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, pancakes, toast, fruit, juice, tea coffee. Same for all breakfasts, just switched between waffles and pancakes. Room was clean and comfortable and roomy. Enough space for our bags and sitting room. Pool with waterslide and hottub was fun for the kids. The pool towels ran out in the evening and the kids drip dried on our trek back up to room. Seems to always be the case at hotels when busy. My only complaint would be that the stairwell does not lead to the main floor of hotel. We had to wait for the elevator every time. The stairwell takes you from 5th down to 2nd floor and then outside at the back of hotel. I would have loved to exit the stairwell to the main floor and avoid the elevator for most trips throughout the hotel.

Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Red Deer is a full service hotel. We do have room rate offer with breakfast and without breakfast.
If the reservation booked with breakfast you will be able to have home made breakfast serve at our "Boulevard Restaurant & Lounge" from 06.30am till 11.00am.
