We stayed at Trapper Ray's R.V park. He was friendly and price for stay was cheap. We crossed the highway each day to use the free hot-springs. We wandered along the wooden walkways and braved the dangers of bears and other wildlife to use the hot-springs. We didn't check out the local store because we didn't go camping without being... Well it's an R.V and campground with cabins and tent sites. Very nice place as you pull in, sites are good size but. #0 amp service by generators, next to zero water pressure, had to use our water supply and pump to get water. The inconvient convience store was lacking a lot of products, has a restaurant not open. No... More

Stayed early in the season in May. Campsites were clean, gravel and a little grass. Had a friendly and helpful staff. Hookups worked for 15 and 30 AMP electric and water - no sewer. Convenience store with limited supplies. Did not use shower or restrooms. Really convenient to hot springs! Would repeat.

We stopped in quickly after the hot springs to see if they had any souvenirs of interest & to get something to drink. What a funny mish-mash of items. Most of the shelves were bare, and then they had a few camping items you might have forgotten... they had a U.S. flag but not Canadian... and another random item in... More

I had quite a bad experience with this lodge a couple weeks ago. I called around noon on the day of my requested booking to secure my room since is expected to have little to no phone service. I confirmed with the women i spoke to regarding the room that they had internet since i needed to finish some work... More

Wonderful room clean and bright. Most of the staff was friendly and attentive.Food a bit greasy but there is no where else to eat unless you bring your own food. Spectacular outdoor atmosphere at the hot springs.

We stopped here for a night during the week. The managers are gracious, hard working, kind and are doing a great job on renovating the lodge during the winter months. We went the the hot springs and came back to a dinner of stew, home made and hot. It was wonderful. The renovated room 5 was great with three beds.... More

The Liard Lodge is closed for the winter season. They are doing some minor renovations to the hotel rooms & restaurant. The Lobby bathrooms have been redone, looks great...Love the color. The Lodge will rent out Hotel rooms to Guests, However you must overlook the renovations that are being done. The Lodge only has 10 rooms & 6 rooms are... More

Stopped in to buy a postcard and look around. Dirty and unsafe looking construction in my opinion... I'd recommend camping at the provincial park across the highway by the hotsprings! The hotsprings are amazing!

We had a pet with us so we got a cabin that was in need of repair and they acknowledged that also. I wish we had of slept in the bed of our truck instead... I think the only reason people stay here is due to the fact, there isn't anything else around!!
