We stayed one night on our way to somewhere else. The location is fine but not very walkable. On first arriving I was pleased with the lovely lake view and covered balcony, although the three sliding doors to open in order to get to it were a challenge! This is an older style autocourt type of motel. As such, it’s decent. Friendly check in, clean enough rooms, lots of coffee and tea, all the stuff. The property itself is pretty, and would be a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy the view. In short, it’s not fancy, and the walls are thin- but for a place to spend a night or two, it’s just fine.
We stay here every year we travel with family and our pet dog. The staff are super friendly the rooms are outdated but that’s what makes it feel like home. You get a good view of the lake as well. The mini golf is super fun with the family.
A very nice place given what it is and that's a highway roadside motel. Very nice host Grounds are nicely established with many trees and gardens well cared for. We stayed for two nights in mid summer although we only planned on one. We weren't in a hurry and enjoyed the extra day. Quiet. Nothing to do. Sat on our balcony and looked at the lake with a cocktail and snacks and enjoyed the atmosphere. Rooms a little old yes but clean and definitely with a "homey" feel. Go across to Motel 8 if that's what your always used to but other than business people and late night check ins this is a better choice and a gem to be savored if your not I a hurry.
Why are all of you people complain about tv channels air conditioning and yes even mosquitoes???? It's God's country enjoy the view the customer service and the lake. If I could afford to go on a vacation I'd go here... I work in a motel and we don't have half the things this one does.
We stayed here two very enjoyable nights in room 24. Yes, it's old but more retro than run down with sweet verandas and great hosts. Rooms were very clean. Everything worked. Lots of space. Awesome spot and cheap! Nots lots to select from in Williams lake so go local and feel the retro vibe! I cooked bbq on the first night. Managed a 3 course meal with the hotplate!
