We are from northern BC and contacted this B&B as we were concerned about the security of our pick-up truck load. A regular hotel parking lot would not have sufficed on this trip. Steve reasured us that his location is very safe. Once we arrived at Juniper Trails this was quite apparent and I would recomend this place for the secure location alone. The rooms were quiet and large with very comfortable beds, and the bathrooms were equally spacious and modern. The breakfast was ample and offered a variety of fresh fruit, wonderful omlet and home made muffins among other items. Excellent coffee as well! We ended up booking again for our return trip a week later and will be sure to stop there in the future. Steve is very hospitable, knowelgable regarding the area and eager to help in any way he can. (In our case he accomodated an earlier breakfast, an extra foamy in our room for our son and a couple of local phone calls on our behalf regarding some mechanical issues we were experiencing with our vehicle) Thank you so much for all the extra effort! I read the other reviews and they are spot on. Great job Steve, see you again!

I have been staying at Juniper Trails while working in the Williams Lake area on and off for the past three months. I didn't want to leave my young kitten at home while away so long and it has been fantastic having her here with me!

Steve and Emily (and their dogs) are great personalities, very helpful -Steve sweeps snow off my truck :) and makes me early breakfast!! - and the accommodations are amazing!

I can't say enough good things about my time here, WAY better than staying in a hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable spot, with amazing views, a dandy soaker tub, and goofy dogs greeting you every day.

Happy trails,
Val

This lovely B and B is located in the hills above Williams Lake with beautiful views from the deck and gracious hosts. The room was wonderful - large and a very comfortable bed. The en suite bathroom was huge. Breakfast had lots of options and dietary restrictions are always considered. Steve is very knowledgeable about the area and had some useful travel recommendations. I would highly recommend a stay here!

Steve and Emily are amazing hosts and they became great friends throughout my 6 month stay (rotating week on/off). I also fell in love with their dogs and horse! I would often walk the dogs on their property trail after work! And don’t get me started on Steve’s amazing breakfasts and baking! Yummy! I also love picking raspberries, throwing balls for the dogs and cuddling up with the fire! It has been my favorite place to stay while on business! I would return for pleasure it was that amazing! Oh, I also bought one of Steve’s amazing art pieces. Can I give this place a 10/10 instead of 5 stars? Ha. I miss you guys and hope you are well!

My wife and I recently traveled to Williams Lake to visit our daughter and grandkids. We have stayed at two hotels in Williams Lake for previous visits and were gravely disappointed by the facilities. So, on this trip we decided to try something different, which is why we picked Juniper Trails BnB. It was the right call, and likely the call we'll be making for future trips to Williams Lake.

This place is amazing. It is clean, spacious, great view, modern (with a rustic vibe), and the owner, Steve Harkies, is a friendly and accommodating guy.

Juniper is a bit outside of the city, which is actually a good thing. You get a taste of nature, in addition to being in a nice piece of country. The house is amazing. Steve has done a lot of good work to make this place a BnB. You can tell he is very proud of his place - and for good reason.

Our room was The Dukes. Very clean with lots of room. It has a full bedroom and full bathroom. We also had a nice view of the grounds from our room. The bed is quite comfortable. It's a queen bed, so room for 2.

It should be noted that Steve makes one hell of am omelette. My wife very much enjoyed her breakfast while we were there.

It's a nice drive into and from town. Also, you have all of nature to walk in during the day and evening. We saw a lot of wildlife while we were there, but nothing that would eat us.

I definitely recommend this place while you're in Williams Lake.

Thanks to Steve and Emily - and also to Frank, Ginger and Maggy for amazing 2 days. With a warm welcome we felt a bit like home frome the first minute after arriving.
Steve's advice for visiting Farwell Canyon was quiet good because we had our first Bear experinence there.
Greetings from Germany - Sarah + Kenny

We had a lovely time, very relaxing. Steve and the other guests were great to talk to. We slept well in the comfortable bed and room. We visited Williams Lake, Horsefly and Farwell Canyon nearby and also drove to visit Barkerville. The bed and breakfast is well off the main road and is very quiet. It was great to meet Steve and had a lovely greeting from the dogs too. Sally and David F

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Juniper Trails. A magical location and a beautifully decorated and clean room. Steve was a perfect and friendly host, and was able to give us advice on the most scenic route back to Vancouver for our journey home. Could not recommend Juniper Trails enough, truly a hidden gem!

This place is just lovely, it is relaxing beautiful, and has the best hosts. People and animals. We stayed for three nights, my daughter and my parents and I The breakfast was yummy. Lots of variety and even food for my picky gluten free dad. The host was super friendly, and chill. The dogs were full of love and were so fun to play with. Hope to come stay again some day soon.

This was our first trip to William's Lake and to the B&B. It was the perfect place to stay. Nice and close to the city but also serene and quiet with a beautiful view! Steve was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. The rooms were up to date and exceptionally clean! The ensuite was so nice to have! The food was delicious and the coffee amazing! Visits from friendly pets gave us a "just like home" feel. I highly recommend staying here!!
Thank you Steve for an amazing start to our summer vacation!

The rooms my family stayed in only had queen or king beds so call them and ask what they can do for you. We found them VERY helpful.
