Not hotel issue but only issue is there was only 1 cab driver and hard to get a hold of. Plan airport to hotel trips accordingly. Hotel staff were good at answering cab questions.
Laughing Loon resteraunt next door was excellent as well.
This one was disappointing.
When we checked in we were offered our “gift” because of our platinum membership which was 2 Bottles of water which was good. Once arriving in our room we found that they had unplugged our fridge so it was warm. No problem we pulled it out & plugged it in to cool our water.
There was no glass ware in the hotel room only plastic cups.
In the morning we went downstairs for the continental breakfast and was pleasantly surprised that there was hot options like eggs, sausages, hash browns and a waffle iron. However there was no proper utensils only the flimsiest plastic cutlery & paper plates. Have you ever tried eating a fresh crispy waffle with a flimsy fork & knife? Well it’s not easy or productive. Next I grabbed a cup of orange juice from the machine only to find that it wasn’t real OJ. It was some type powdered juice like tang, which would have been awesome if I was 10 but I’m not. The only real dishware was the coffee cups.
I grew up in WL so I was able to wrangle up some silverware from family for my next mornings breakfast.
Its wind down time before bed so we wanted to watch TV. So in order to even watch TV you need to use 2 remotes. 1 remotes 1 button, 2nd remote 2nd button and back to remote 1 for 3rd button just access the TV guide. But volume & guide we’re on opposing remotes. I tried to login to one of my streaming services and that was not available. I just so happened to have the cord in my travel bag to be able to “cast” the streaming onto the TV but since it’s old technology it was only happenstance that I had the cord still in my travel bag. However there was no instructions to cast my streaming service, I just had to fumble my way through.
Checkout morning arrives and we go to breakfast and go to pack our room only to discover they had checked us out of our room at 8 am and our key card stopped working because they checked us out long before check out time.
So you take what you want from this honest review, but personally I felt it was all very cheap & cheesy.
This isn’t a budget hotel chain.
