Booked this place to try something new and away from the downtown and the regular hotel scene and we were so glad we did! It’s an excellent place to get away from the traffic. Peaceful and cozy place to stay that has beautiful surroundings to go for a nice evening stroll. The owners were extremely friendly and awesome to chat with. Loved the cabin, decor was great, place was well kept and clean. We should have asked for more towels but it wasn’t too much of a problem. Might also consider bringing a fluffy pillow if that’s your style. Very cozy, quiet, secure, excellent place to stay. Well priced. We will definitely be staying here again for any other coastal trips.
Excellent stay in the cabin, had a peaceful rest after long days of adventures and enjoyed the location which is close to everything we needed on the trip...I will definitely book again and look forward to it. Highly recommend the beautiful clean space and the fantastic hosts!
It was difficult to find this B&B. Parking is challenging due to inadequate space. We stayed in the lower level of the house of the owners. Entry is by code. The space had three bedrooms and a shared living room. We had one of the bedrooms, and a family of four had the other two rooms at the other end of the hall. No locks on the bedroom doors. Living area had a microwave and television, but no sink. Yes, it was quiet, but not really any outdoor space for relaxing or any place within walking distance. We only met our host on the third day as we maneuvered our vehicle into a parking spot. One the plus side, it was clean.
We stayed with Jay and Jessica while we were passing through Chilliwack and are so glad we did. Jay gave great advise about pools to fish on the Vedder (if you are into fishing, you need to stay here - it’s a short drive to the hatchery and you can walk to some of the higher pools on the Vedder and be on the river in 5 minutes.) Communication was great. I extended the stay 3 times as we enjoyed the place so much and Jessica was more than happy to do so. We stayed in the Cabin which is a lovely, studio style setup and has everything one would need. If you are looking for a place in Chilliwack, stay here!
we stayed in the cabin, as we have been many times before this trip was as good as the first , we had 4 days sturgeon fishing on the fraser river with riversport fishing and once again came up trumps ,I caught 17 with 4 under 5ft all the rest were over 6ft 6ins with the best at 8ft 10ins,we travelled between mission and hope when we were not fishing and saw wonderfull scenery and wildlife. hope to go back again.
Whether you're a fisherman interested in seasonal river salmon or winter steelhead, or a hiker looking to check out local trails, this location is great- with or without the optional breakfast. We booked 2 nights and were thankful to be away from the hustle and bustle of the local downtown hotels and malls. The owners are a very friendly and personable couple, and we witnessed firsthand how hard they were working to clean up following the worst winter storm of the season. If I must be critical, we found the cabin kitchen to be a bit sparse. Cooking is done on a hotplate and microwave. Mismatched dinnerware was missing some essential pieces. A dishcloth and tea towels were absent and presumed to be off at laundry. And while there was tea in the cupboard, there was no salt/pepper or sugar on hand. Most are easy things to improve on that would make stays more enjoyable.…
We had a fantastic 3 night stay here! There is lots to do in the surrounding area and Jess & Jay were absolutely lovely and gave us plenty of information on hiking trails and places to visit. We would definitely stay here again.
This was our 3rd visit [with our hosts jes & jay ]and once again we had a great time, even though i broke my wrist we still had great company and food, our friends with us it was their first time in canada & they enjoyed everthing about the area & riverbend
Jessica and Jay, are realy friendly, discreet and attentive people. Located in the countryside Riverside B & B is located a few steps from beautiful Hiking and right next to the river. What spend a relaxing holiday with family or friends.
We were a group of 4 fly fisher men,we stayed there for a week in October in the guesthouse where we had three rooms for us.The rooms are nice and we had a kitchen where we could prepare our breakfast as we left early in the morning to go fishing. The river is so close that you don`t need a car to get there, and Jay the owner showed us some nice fishing spots.Should you need some tackle, a shop is 10 minutes away by car. Jessica and Jay are the perfect hosts, we were astonished how helpful they are!Should you want breakfast, no problem, just ask.And it`s excellent. There is also a room with a billard table .In this room we dried our waders and other gear, perfect! We will surely go back to this place.
