Spent 3 nights. Rooms were very loud. Could hear person in next room coughing etc. Person upstairs walking around. The showers had great water pressure. Staff was friendly. Booked a number of rooms for our group. Married couples, single men, we all got 2 double beds. overall unfortunately the noise ruined it for me.

I placed a RSVP via Booking, com for June. That website did NOT show the hotel has a NON-REFUNDABLE cancelation policy. So now I'm coerced and extorted to stay there in June with no possibility of getting a refund from a canceled RSVP. DO NOT STAY HERE and be advised Booking.com does not highlight the non-refund cancelation till after you place...

Nothing special but the rooms were clean and spacious. Bathroom sink and mirror separate from tub and toilet which was convenient. The hotel is centrally located. Hotel restaurant was excellent. Staff was very accommodating. We were able to drop off and leave a vehicle here while canoeing between Whitehorse and Dawson.

Don't be put off from staying here out of season,as much if the town is closed. Comfortable rooms with the facilities required for a stop over, but definitely not for a romantic stay or luxury holiday. Breakfast choice is very good much better than dinner menu which is typical burgers and fries attire in the adjoining bar that seemed to...

Every hour or so the heating system went off like a gun in the room, and if that didn't wake me, the sound of the couple next door having reasonably volumed sex sure did. The rooms were clean, and the service was friendly. Awesome location. The room we booked with the wet bar had a microwave and a sink, but...

Thank you for staying with us and for the constructive feedback. We will look into making the boiler system quieter and will stock more dining amenities in the suites...good suggestion!

We go to Dawson City every Labor Day weekend to play in the softball tournament. Go Brother Jimmy's!! We have stayed at a number of hotels throughout the years and decided to give the Downtown a shot. Most of the folks we travel with stay at the Bunkhouse. The Downtown Hotel has nice clean rooms with private bath and hot...

I stayed in the Annex, which is right across the street from the main hotel. I tried to get everything in my room in one trip, (so my arms were full of stuff) and open the door. Put the key in the door, turned the key, and pushed, and nothing happened. Tried again, and nothing. Finally went back to the...

Pros: Super friendly staff, and really comfy newer beds. Cons: Truthfully, the hotel has seen better days. Upon arrival, our room temp was set to 35 degrees, we thought we were going to melt! - Windows open into atrium, not outside. No screens, so we asked to switch to a 2nd floor room (staff happily obliged, thanks!) - We were...

Thank you for the feedback. We are happy you found the staff friendly and the beds comfortable. We do have air conditioning in the main building and have been renovating the Annex rooms to bring them up to the same level as the main hotel. Hopefully you will give us a second chance to impress you on your next trip...

The hotel is in a good location in town, but then again, so are most of the hotels. The room was clean & comfortable. A warning though, there is no elevator, so carrying luggage up stairs may be a problem.
