Detailed Reviews
The room was passable but did not justify the cost. I would suggest considering it only as a last resort if no other options are available. Despite the reservation indicating four guests, only two bath towels were provided, an oversight the hotel management should rectify to enhance the guest experience. Additionally, the hallway had an unpleasant odor, detracting from the overall ambiance.

The place is actually a dump covered up with some frills. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The room on first glance looked okay. On second look you see the dirty, shredding drapes and other things that indicate token things have been done to cover up a lot of old dirt. The pillows consisted of chipped foam that must have come from the hotel opening many years ago. The Continental Breakfast was a joke. Asked to make toast and told they didn't have a kitchen, so bread wasn't available, and not much else either.
If this is a reflection of the type of hotel that Wyndham is promoting, I certainly will not be recommending their accommodation anywhere. Shame on Wyndham!!

First impressions of the lobby/breakfast room were not as depicted on the web site. The whole facility is in dire need of a major cleanup/reno, The carpets are worn out and dirty looking. The room floors are a poorly maintained low end laminate that would be impossible to clean and sanitize. We picked up paper napkins and facial tissues form under the bed.The bathroom fixtures are quite tired looking but workable. House keeping staff appear to have the weekend off. We had to ask at the desk for coffee pods, Towels are not refreshed, The "Continental Breakfast" consists of fruit cocktail cups, cereal and granola bars. It appears that they are operating until the wreaking ball is available.

The exterior reminded me of the Bates Motel but by the time I saw what it really looked like I was stuck. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The restaurant was closed and “breakfast included was coffee and cold cereal”. There is no elevator. The hallways are filthy (especially the carpet) and look like they have never been vacuumed. The door to our room sticks. The walls and ceiling are paper thin. You can hear every conversation and every thumping creaky footstep above. and the ancient spring mattresses are thin, hard, uncomfortable and belong at the dump. No bath mats were provided for the bathtub or floor. Shower at your own risk. The bathroom ceiling is in desperate need of painting. It’s got water damage and greasy yellow stains. The exhaust fan is ineffective and the hairdryer is archaic and filthy. Also the water temperature in the shower kept changing mid-shower. The stove in the “kitchenette” is from 1960 and it too is filthy as is the space between the stove and the counter. This place is a disaster and I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place.

This hotel is very run down, has been smoked in for many years, the air is still think with chemicals. I was in the room for 5 mins, and left. They would not refund me the room price, they stated they could not re sell the room. Terrible service and just a run down old hotel. Would not recommend to anyone.

We live in the area but needed a room for two nights while some work was being done on our house. We clearly were overcharged for this dump, $220.00 plus tax for each night. The rooms are old and tired, there is no breakfast because of COVID-19 (contrary to what Super 8 thinks a juice box and granola bar is not breakfast). To top it off we were charged $20.00 for our dog, she did not shower or use towels or linens. This charge, at this time, is simply a money grab, as the rooms should be getting better than the once over by the cleaning staff because of the virus. We would not recommend this place to anyone.

I am writing this because of the excellent service we have received last night when checking in and today with Hailey. Both front desk receptionists seemed happy to help us and did everything they could to assist us. Also, our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We will be back. It is not a fancy hotel, just basic and that is reflected in the price.

My family of six stayed in two rooms while passing through Duncan. The rooms were very clean and had air conditioning. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They offered to bring up a high chair for my ten month old. My older kids enjoyed choosing their breakfast options, which were prepared in individual paper bags. A great hotel for an overnight rest.

Rooms are clean and come with a fridge. The motel is close to amenities like restaurants and shopping. It was reasonably priced and the front desk clerk even gave me the CAA price even though I had forgotten to get out my BCAA card. Overall a great place for a good night's sleep.
