Hotel room was adequate. Location is a pain to head north from. Must drive back roads to get back on highway. Restaurant service was terrible and put a real damper on our visit. Totally ignored by two servers.

Review collected in partnership with Best Western
My partner and I were bike touring on Vancouver Island with the intention of camping, but we ran out of daylight and energy and "pulled over" to the Best Western right outside of Duncan. We were happy to get a room last minute, but felt it was slightly expensive. We typically t

very nice hotel recently renovated, upgrades are well done, 3 floor with king size beds great idea, however 3 nights off season cost $447 which is making it expensive to stay just for a leisurely weekend

Stayed here while visiting family. They just re-opened after a major renovation, and I can say that the hotel looks better than ever. They have all new beds, furniture, carpets, so I felt like I was staying at a brand new hotel. My room was on the second floor and the elevator wa

This is part of our standard family suite with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. We replaced all of our linens, pillows, mattresses, and covers - Guests have been raving about their wonderful sleep!
is there room to park an rv?
Unless your RV is a small motorhome, I would say no. However, I would call the hotel and get a more definitive answer.

Is the manager of this hotel the same one as the one who wrote a response on 7 April 2012 to a guest who reviewed this place back on 5 April 2012? If so, there is NO WAY I'm staying here with my large group. Wow, what a brutal response to a guest who took the time to write a thoughtful review. What ever happened to customer service? The manager's response was completely rude, ignorant and out of line. Sure wouldn't want to make any sort of complaint to him/her in fear of being verbally attacked! This is the worst response I've ever seen and I actually thought it was a joke at first! I'm sure I'll also get attacked for saying they were wrong to respond this way too 😱
Hello Lisa, My name is Bonnie and I just recently took over management of the Trip Advisor page for this hotel :). I am the current operations manager here and I just wanted to say that indeed, the review response previously made in the post you mentioned was very appalling! Management has completely changed since 2015. We are sincerely sorry that the review response online contributed to your decision to not stay with us. But one thing I can say with absolute confidence is that our family of staff here are absolutely wonderful and we will continue to aim for superior customer service in all areas! I know this answer is so late to when you posted, but we sincerely hope you will consider us in the near future. Warmly, Bonnie
