We found this place through Trip advisor and agree with every positive comment. The couple is kind, helpful and willing to help in any way they can. The York St diner on the same property was very tasty. I have to say I ate the best burger I have ever eaten. Definitely recommend this spot.

After spending on Salt Spring at our "cabin", for business concerns we went to Duncan. The hotel was well kept and very nice. The staff also knew where everything was in town. It is definitely 1970's vintage, which does mean that the rooms were large, and they were. There is a restaurant on-site, which we did not try. + It...

Amazing customer service! These hosts really know what they are doing. Clean rooms, great beds, and the restaurant next door is bonus. Will definitely be back. Was only going to stay one night but it was so affordable and the hosts were so accommodating that I ended up staying another night.

Very welcoming and friendly, spotlessly clean and wickedly good water pressure, all at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay at the Thunderbird in Duncan again. Oh, and great wifi speed to boot!

Just off the main drag, this older, two-story motel fits the bill for a clean and affordable stay in Duncan. New fixtures in the small bathroom, nice comforters and pillows, and a flat screen TV. Mattresses were firm, but comfortable and the carpeting was clean. Beautiful hanging flowers add color to the exterior. Very helpful and friendly staff! Will stay...

Very pleasant stay at a well run and maintained motel in Duncan. The lady who checked us in couldn't have been more helpful and informative. Her two recomandations for dinner and breakfast were spot on. The staff even offered to move one of their cars so we could park our motorcycles in front of our room. Very pleased with our...

They've just installed true hi speed internet throughout the facility at some expense, but not to room rates. Bravo Thunderbird. Bed was comfortable, the shower worked and a nice choice of TV high def stations on a flat screen TV. Maybe bigger ones on the wall next time for easy viewing? York St Diner is attached and make a good...
