This hotel is absolutely incredible! It has the nicest staff and the most beautiful view of Harrison Lake. I was greeted by some chocolates and a sweet from the hotel for my birthday weekend in my room. We ate at the The Black Forest restaurant right beside the hotel which was very convenient and delicious . They have a selection of DVDs that we like renting when we made it back to the room. I stayed twice at hotel this past month. Love the outdoor hot tub! I will be back!
I was put on the first floor right next to the pool the room it self was okay but the location I’m sorry I didn’t spend 200 to look at a dumpster from my patio. I was asked if I like a refund but at this point I drove 2 hrs all was booked what am I to do with my plans. My boyfriend and I were hoping to spend a weekend away but that turned into a fight about the room. Not to mention I asked for a late check out at booking I then asked to make sure I was told to wake up and ask if I could check out late what’s the point in that. It was loud next to the pool and hot tub not to mention the dirty laundry carts that was in front of my door when I checked in.
We visit Agassiz area frequently to visit a relative living in a care home. We usually stay in Chilliwack but found a great price for this little hotel in Harrison and thought it would be a fun alternative. We really enjoyed our stay! We had a double Queen room on the top floor with private balcony, electric fireplace, kitchenette and heated bathroom floors. The view of the lake costs a bit more but was gorgeous! The hotel is a little dated with some chips in the tub and walls, spots on the carpet, etc., but in this era of hotels struggling due to covid we felt they were doing well to keep it clean and comfortable, and we’re happy to allow them some grace on the expensive maintenance work. They did have many nice touches such as makeup removers, lovely individual amenities, wine glasses, tea and coffee. Our only disappointment was that we requested a room far from the elevator and were given one right next to it, so there were people chatting outside our door as they got off the elevator. However, that only happened a couple of times, and not very late, so we weren’t really disturbed. We would stay here again for sure.…
We had a relatively modern looking, very spacious junior suite overlooking the lake. Very clean. The second floor balcony was quite large and would be good for entertaining. Amazing view and great location. I would recommend this place. One small gripe I had was the pre booking. I received an email and text message to do pre booking. I almost did not fill out the pre booking information because based on my experience, with other hotels, I would have to give the exact same information when I arrive at the hotel. But I did do the pre booking (id, CC and vehicle info) and, like every other hotel, I had to give all that information again when I got to the hotel. Why do they even ask? Also the clothes drying line in the tub was broken, or at least I could not pull out the line.
Spent one night there, and truly enjoyed it. The room is spacious and bright with views of the snow capped mountains and equipped with a kitchenette, and the beddings are soft and clean. The carpet is a bit old and frayed, though, which does not really bother us. The indoor pool and the outdoor hot tub again with a mountain view are fun to use. Would definitely recommend it to relatives and friends as a pleasant and pragmatic place to stay!
We are extremely satisfied return customers that already look forward to our next stay. Harrison Beach Hotel has always succeeded our expectations. Great service, rooms, amenities, view, location…!!! This time Alfansina went the extra mile for us when we checked in at the front desk, giving us an upgraded suite for a reasonable rate and she continued to greet us so warmly each time we passed the front desk. She made our stay even better than usual!
Rodney and his team were fabulous, friendly and helpful. They checkin regularly during our stay. Our room was fabulous with fluffy pillows and a fireplace and loved the mini kitchenette for beverages and snacks and a lovely view of the lake.
My husband and I met his sister and her husband for one night after not seeing each other since before Covid. I booked two "deluxe" rooms and paid in full far in advance. The cost of each room was $288.84 including taxes and fees. When we arrived we found that we were not even on the same floor. One room was on the second and the other was on the fourth. Our room (#205) was in desperate need of either new wall to wall carpet or hard surface flooring. The carpet was filthy and worn very badly. The bathroom was not clean, the toilet didn't flush properly and "ran" continuously no matter how many times we jiggled the handle. The other room was not quite as worn out and in need of repairs but my sister in law and husband were very disappointed non the less. For the money we all would have expected cleanliness at the very least. I would not stay at Harrison Beach Hotel again and I would not recommend it.…
Staff was great. Room had a deck off of it overlooking the beach, lake, and mountains the view was awesome. Pool and hot tub were great. The hotel restaurant had great reviews but we didn't try it had to have the German food from next door which was great. Beautiful small community very laid back. Would go again anytime.
We stayed just one night after a flight into Vancouver, and an hour and half drive. Great location overlooking the lake, and central for all the places to eat and drink too. Staff were great, and really friendly. Huge room with balcony which was lovely, again overlooking the lake. We parked in their back outdoor car park, for $5, I believe it was $10 to park underground, but no issues in the car park.
