Detailed Reviews
We just got home from a one night stay and had a wonderful time. The hotel is perfectly located at the water's edge on Harrison Lake. We had a twin bedded room on the third floor, room 308 with balcony, right in the middle of the floor. There are only 3 rooms per floor with a balcony so if the weather is good, and it was, a balcony is the way to go. On a sunny day there are few better views in the lower mainland, and none that would be even close to the price point.
The rooms on the fourth floor have all been recently renovated and they say the other floors will be done by spring. This meant the room we had was older and tired, however it was large, clean and well appointed with coffee machine, fridge, microwave, and lots of kitchen utensils, etc. I would recommend that if you are on the third floor you ask for a higher numbered room as the elevator and ice machine for the building are right at the end of the hall.
The location is excellent in that it has a great restaurant, Morgan's, right in the building, with the Black Forest right next door, and a good Greek place a block away. They also have on site parking for $5.00 per night, try that in Vancouver! There's an indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub as well.
All in all a great time and if you happen to hit a sunny day the view is magical.

The property was really nice. The room we stayed in had an amazing view of the lake and it had been newly renovated. We really liked the new Smart TV as it allowed us to use our streaming apps - great for a fall evening. The staff were all helpful and very friendly. We’ve lived in Metro Vancouver for 30 years and this was our first stay at Harrison Hot Springs and we are so very happy that we chose to stay at this hotel.

We visit Agassiz area frequently to visit a relative living in a care home. We usually stay in Chilliwack but found a great price for this little hotel in Harrison and thought it would be a fun alternative. We really enjoyed our stay! We had a double Queen room on the top floor with private balcony, electric fireplace, kitchenette and heated bathroom floors. The view of the lake costs a bit more but was gorgeous! The hotel is a little dated with some chips in the tub and walls, spots on the carpet, etc., but in this era of hotels struggling due to covid we felt they were doing well to keep it clean and comfortable, and we’re happy to allow them some grace on the expensive maintenance work. They did have many nice touches such as makeup removers, lovely individual amenities, wine glasses, tea and coffee. Our only disappointment was that we requested a room far from the elevator and were given one right next to it, so there were people chatting outside our door as they got off the elevator. However, that only happened a couple of times, and not very late, so we weren’t really disturbed. We would stay here again for sure.

I have been staying at the Harrison Beach hotel since it first opened, nearly two decades ago, and I love the great property with amazing lake view rooms (my preference over the mountain view rooms located at the back of the property). The staff is friendly and helpful, and you just can’t beat the location. The rooms offer kitchen amenities which makes it easy to have meals in the room, if you don’t feel like eating out all the time (the suites have cooktop burners so you can cook small meals), and the regular rooms have small appliances like a Keurig, toaster, kettle, along with cups, plates, and cutlery.

We recently stayed at this hotel, and despite it being centrally located, our experience was lackluster. Upon checking in, we noticed hair on both the pillows and dining table in the room, which was pretty off-putting. The floors were also dirty, and it seemed like the bath tub hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. Additionally, while the front desk staff are efficient, they could definitely work on being more friendly and welcoming especially the blond older lady. Overall, the hotel needs a bit of attention to cleanliness and hospitality.

Just wanted to state our appreciation for staff members Campbel (sp?) and Jennifer and the rest of the team. My young son and I have stayed here a few times, the rooms super clean and atmosphere is very calm. On our latest trip to the hotel, we prob were more "needy" than any other visit, with the room above us being a little loud, my son clogging our toilet and me losing my earings... The staff was sooo gracious and prompt in moving us to another room immediately and sending someone in with smiles to swiftly unclog the toilet. At one point I even left my earings in the original room that we switched from and the staff quickly retrieved and returned them to me. Not one sigh or eye roll from this team but complete professionalism and top service.

We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms on the top floor with a a beautiful view of the lake. The room had high ceilings and great decor. My favourite part would be the stocked kitchen area with cutlery, plates, knife set, toaster, and Keurig. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, too. Location was right across the beach with plenty of food choices just beside the hotel. We will definitely be returning.

Dissapointed!
While the rooms were quite acceptable, the check in/out experience together with the add on charges are "obscene". Additional taxable charges totaled just shy of $200.00. Ok, got it, its levied charges by our governments but common guys, quote me a price for the room including all this BS. This aside, one desk clerk looking after all the check-ins, not good enought. The check-out cleck was at a total loss to recomend breakfast. Cordial but absolutely no clue what was available. Management MUST do better for 5 star prices.

Even though they are undergoing renovations, the staff and construction folks were very accommodating. Definitely worth the money to stay on the lakeview side, beautiful view. We had a junior suite with mini kitchen, had everything we needed. Many good restaurants within short walking distance.

Stayed for 1 night on June 26 before continuing on to Victoria.
Very small front lobby but the staff were friendly and helpful.
Renovations are ongoing so we were unable to use the underground
parking but they have ample parking at the rear of the property.
There is no restaurant nor a breakfast area.
The room was large with 2 queen size beds which were comfortable, also had a kitchenette
with microwave, fridge, plates and cutlery. No safe in the room.
We had a large balcony but unfortunately ours overlooked the rear of the property.
There is a nice pool which is heated and a hot tub which was very nice.
Now for the reason for an overall rating of 3, the absolutely filthy stained state of the carpet
In the room, an utter disgrace. How a carpet can be ignored to get to that state is beyond me.

Hi Odyssey19, Our Hotel offers 3 Junior Mountain View Suites and 3 Junior Lake View Suites that are designated as ‘Pet Friendly,’ guests who do not request a pet-friendly suite upon booking cannot be guaranteed that one will be available upon arrival. The pet guest fee is $25/night (plus applicable taxes), maximum 2 pets per room. Seeing-eye dogs are welcome at no charge.
Good question! Do you mean at the beach or in our Hotel pool?
Dogs are allowed on leash at the beach and as an added bonus many of the restaurants in town offer outdoor seating to accomidate them as well.
Good morning,
The restaurant in the Hotel is called Morgans Bistro and while it is in the Hotel it is privately operated. We do not have a menu from them that we can post unfortunately and they don't have a website. I have tried to post a picture of it for you but, it wouldn't work. If you provide me with your email address I would be happy to send you pictures of the menu. If you do not want to post your email on the site you will have to call me at the Hotel as Trip Advisor will not allow me to post my email in this message. 1-604-796-1111 extension 2.
Regards,
Tara Ryder

We didn't go in the springs. As far as we saw, the public spring is small, like a small indoor pool, didn't interest is. We saw the one at the hotel. Don't know about temps. But the lake and scenery are beautiful.
"Please be aware, they are renovating right now, but the inconveniences are minor. The rooms and the service make worth it. So is the food @ Morgansbistro"Read full review
