Detailed Reviews
We stayed one night in May. There was a baggie of what appeared to be dog waste and other bits of garbage on our site. Stay away from site 14 if you do come, as it is right next to the street, and pedestrians talking and cars will sound like they are right in your ear. The bathroom is tiny, smelly, and there were cobwebs in the window. Showers cost extra, $1 for every 10 minutes. If you go to the website and read their rules, the tone is one of strictness, to the point of being unreasonable. Washing dishes is forbidden in the bathroom sink, but if you are car-camping, there is no other choice, as there is no other water source at the site. The only good thing is its proximity to everything in town. Of course, it's such a small place that any place is central. The management needs to improve; they're happy to take your money, but don't really offer much in return. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it due to the expense ($40/night)for what you get.

If you are like us and are never at your RV site then stay here! The site is wide open and you are side by side each other. The proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants is the key to this place, one block away to everything!!
They have 3 rows of parking for RV's and maybe 10 per row. It's more like a gravel parking lot with hook ups.
The hosts of the site are FABULOUS though!! very helpful and very friendly.
There is a pay shower ($1.00 for 10 mins) and bathroom for guests to use which both were clean.
Not a place for tenting!!

We visited Harrison Hot Springs for one day and stayed at this RV parking lot for one evening. It is suitable for motorhomes but not suitable for tents. No privacy or green space. The location is suitable for those who want to park their motorhome and be close to shops, restaurants and the main town. Very noisy and beside a busy road. We do not usually leave negative reviews but this was not a happy experience for us - except for meeting very nice folks camping on either side of us. Thought I should write this review to advise anyone wanting to tent here to look elsewhere for more privacy and green space.

Disgusting. We refused to stay, and they charged us $63. Dumpsters, wires, pipes, unfinished. Appalling. Have never even complained let alone refused to stay somewhere. I truly hope no one else ever books a site at this park.

Few friends and I wanted to go camping for a weekend so we made a reservation here because all the other campsites we looked at were all booked. I couldn't find reviews on this place so I hope this review helps so nobody falls into the same trap we did. We arrive on site and it's literally someone's backyard. OK for RV's if you're just looking for a place to park, but not suitable at all for tents or for people who want the real camping experience. (I was also not informed of this when I made the reservation over the phone saying we were looking for campgrounds for tents). Space we were given resembled a parking space with a picnic table and garbage can, and faces the main street (very crowded and loud). Not our idea of camping. Our mistake for not researching properly, so we explained to the owners about our confusion and we understood that cancelation fee would be the price of the first night's stay.
We decided to go look for a more suitable campground. We thought it was fair that since we already agreed to pay for the first night ($40+tax) that the space be saved for us if in case we couldn't find anything else. The lady gave us attitude saying how they can't make money that way and that they were going to give our spot that we paid for away. So we asked for our money back and we explained to her how this was unfair. She agreed to give the money back. We followed her back to her office where we did paperwork, but it wasn't until we drove away that we realized that she had charged my credit card anyways. AND she was rude to us when we were nothing but polite to her. She wouldn't make eye contact with us and gave us attitude, when we were apologizing for the misunderstanding.
Bottom line: not customer oriented. Just wants to make a quick dollar. Not accommodating at all even though we thought we were being fair.
We ended up finding a lake front, spacious, and private campsite just 20 min away. RV friendly as well, and ambience was so much better, for only 30 dollars.

If you are looking for a parking lot to stay in you may be ok here as the location is great. However we were looking for a family vacation and this was not the place. Sites are small, there are no trees, we were told to park our truck down the street, the bathroom appeared to be a toilet in the middle of office supplies. We decided to cancel after being there 5 minutes and pay the one night cancellation fee and move somewhere else, they actually tried to charge us two nights and I suspect this happens a lot as the reasoning sounded well rehearsed. Either way I would have paid anything not to stay there, please do your research first so that you know what to expect otherwise you'll be disappointed.

Quiet weekend with girlfriend and 2 out of town cousins was ruined by the manager. We had paid the $2.50 visitors fee for my guests, when a co-worker who lives nearby stopped in with his young family. The Manager came over and started yelling at this poor family, stating that they had to stop at the office and register. " No signs anywhere advising of this". They were told very rudely to remove themselves from the property and if they returned there would be a $5.00 fee each.
My friend took his young daughters home and it took hours to calm them down, ages 7 and 9.
This man should not work in the hospitality industry.
Weekend ruined for eight people by this inconsiderate individual.

We stayed at Hot Springs RV and Camping Park for 2 nights in July, 2016. We don't have a bathroom in our trailer, so we used the campground's bathroom. It smelled so bad I could barely use it - flush toilets smelled like an outhouse ! The picnic table were old and crumbling. The worst part were the rats that came out after sunset. This place ruined my holiday ! Definitely not worth $40 a night !

The place is very uninviting from the moment you step out of your vehicle. Prejudice older White couple run the property. Treated our Black family horrible, followed us around life a thief in the store. Ended up leaving after the manager screamed at our family , traumatized the kids and very unprofessional. The owners were looking for a reason to kick us out all day. Warning washrooms are gross and smell like an outhouse. Not sanitized and very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Next door looks like a great time, go there instead.

We had decided to take our trailer out on the May long weekend for the first trip of the year. We have taken numerous day trips to Harrison and thought we'd try a trip with our RV trailer. Found this RV camp ground online and booked four nights. Have read the negative comments and to some degree would have to agree with some of them, yes it is small and yes it is not ideal for tenting. However for our purpose, which was to get away for a weekend it was the ideal place. Close to the downtown core and our hosts where very personable and helpful. The next time we want to just get away for a do nothing specific weekend we will book here.
