Stayed here Mother's day weekend in suite facing river. Cute room but the uncleanliness was everywhere inside and out. Walls were filthy in every part of suite. Drips marks all over? pieces of debris? disgusting. Would not recomment until cleaning is up to standards. This makes guests feel that if walls etc are filthy then what would be the enhanced Covid 19 cleaning? Probably none. Would not stay again only for this reason.
Our summer trip this year gave us the opportunity to stop here on our way east and back. The corona virus has not affected anything about this motel. On the way out we were able to stay on the river side, love the view and the quiet, but on the way back we were off the parking lot. Check-in and out was done with friendliness and professionalism. Housekeeping staff was very accommodating. We couldn't even fault the price. The downer was that they have not yet been able to continue their continental breakfast. Maybe next time. However, we were treated to an awesome thunder storm! Love them. Nice of Karam to arrange that. :) Karam and Humayra do the motel proud. If you're heading that way, and need a place to stay, you can't beat the Riverland Inn & Suites.
Room was small, dark and very smelly. After 10/15 minutes I felt nauseous and decided to check out despite no refund available. I found a much better alternative in Kamloops. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The receptionist was very polite at all times - the only positive thing I can say about the hotel.
Where do I start. Bugs.. urine and hair on the walls in the bathroom. Missing tiles. No fridge just a gaping hole where one should be. No coffee table. No bedroom or door to one. A few horrid pots and pans under the kitchen sink that is just nasty. I was so embarrassed when I brought my partner here. We had to downgrade rooms and still wasn't gi enough any refund for doing so. I asked of the suite I booked was under Reno qhen I was upset, she plainly Saud yes! Seriously you're putting us in a half renovated auite???? This was by far the worst bait and switch I've ever dealt with. I tried to ask for a refund for the one night but no. Truly a low grenade operation. For what they charged icould have stayed in a,proper Wyndham suite and I wouldn't have felt dirty and gross. I will never go here again and I seriously suggest others take their business elsewhere unless you're the gambling kind.…
Our son lives near this motel which was our original reason to stay here over the last couple of years. We have always been pleased with the accommodations. We've understood why continental breakfasts couldn't be served during covid and we've even understood why their pricing wasn't reduced during the summer. However, paying $150.00 p/night in the off-season is the reason we won't be returning. Telling us they extended their summer pricing to off-set monies they lost due to accommodating folks who were displaced by the fires left me gob-smacked. Personally, my husband & I have donated money, food & clothing to the innocent victims of the fires. Shame on management.
