The first room that we were assigned, on the second floor, was nice and appealing. However, it turned out this room was not pet-friendly and we had to move to the room on the second floor. It stunk like dog piss. We said that no way we are staying in that room, to which the manager responded "but it's a pet-friendly room"... Like sure, so are we paying $15 extra per night (the pet fee) to enjoy the smell? Now, that is a customer service. After I started to call the Booking.com support, they agreed to change the room for us. We were assigned a room in the building across the road. The only good thing about that room - it did not stink. Everything else was just awful: broken toilet flush, stained carpet and bed linen... And we still paid "pet fee" for that nightmare, even though our dog does not shed, has good manners and was way cleaner than the room. We were too tired to argue this time, but I can say for sure, this was our worst room in Canada so far.

We were looking for an authentic home cooked Thanksgiving dinner and found it here! A simple restaurant, clean, tidy, with friendly staff. The dinner was delicious, perfectly portioned and included 3 courses for $25pp. Shout out to Shellie, Brodie and Jeff for making this Thanksgiving dinner location a good choice.

This is an affordable and honest option during the expensive summer weekends in Kamloops. My room was clean, large and included a small kitchenette. Also, there was an iron and ironing board and two TVs. The indoor pool and hot tub were much appreciated after a long drive. The restaurant is more than decent!

Mike was delightful at the check-in desk! We were able to park right in front of our ground floor room. Even though it was blisteringly hot outside , our room was cool enough so that we didn’t need to use the A/C! We didn’t get a chance to use the pool or hot tub but maybe next time! Our room was ample inside & the bed was comfortable! Shampoo is provided as well. It was a very quiet neighbourhood. I have absolutely no complaints !

We were very disappointed. Scott’s was recommended to us. We wanted an efficiency. The room was very dated, missing many basic supplies for a kitchen efficiency (no drinking glasses, dish cloths, dish towels) The first night housekeeping missed our room. (So no clean towels and we ran out of TP) Apparently not unusual- their response was that they would get it tomorrow. Air conditioning was extremely loud due to very old units (couldn’t sleep with it on) Windows didn’t open. Bathroom ceiling badly stained. It was not at all what we expected for $200. per night. BTW food at the restaurant was very expensive and mediocre.

I stay at Scott's when I have medical appointments and they always make me feel welcome. This past weekend my family came to Kamloops so we could attend a very special concert together. I stayed at Scott's and they stayed at another motel close by. When they saw my room they said that next time they came to Kamloops they would stay at Scott's because the rooms are so clean. Also the restaurant serves excellent food.

We went to Scott's restaurant for dinner May 10th at 5pm. There were 5 other tables seated and only one waitress! There were 5 of us in our party and she said she would be with us in a minute but I could see she was already working overtime. We sat ourselves and waited. Lisa was serving all the tables in a delayed but timely manner, all orders were correct and getting to the tables with the food hot. Lisa kept apologizing but we could all see she was doing a great job at getting to everyone and keeping things running well. After another 30 minutes, the restaurant was full of patrons and she kept on going strong. We got our drinks and the menus in about 10 minutes from sitting down and we had plenty of time to peruse the menu to make out choices. We also realized there was only one cook in the back so only 2 people were running the entire restaurant and doing an amazing job of keeping everything moving smoothly and all the patrons were happy (or at least aware of the situation and not complaining). When our food arrived it was hot and well prepared. We all enjoyed our dishes. As the end of our meal I noticed the cook had even found time to come out and help clear the tables - a great team for a very relaxing family dinner. Thank you for your outstanding service Lisa and "the cook".

We have never experienced anything like this Motel and Restaurant. The room was exceptionally reasonable and clean The front desk team could not do enough for us to make our stay "over the top". The Restaurant was impecably clean. Shellie and Taryn, our servers went out of their way to make our"take to the room" supper excellent. The food is truly homemade every way possible and again very reasonable.

This establishment really cares about what you as a traveller need: flexibility. Thanks to friendly staff and owner, it was easy to find a safe space for luggage before checking-in and we had a good time enjoying the roof top patio!
