Located just off the highway near Aberdeen Mall. Check in was quick and easy . The lady working at the front desk was friendly and pleasant to deal with during the check in. There is plenty of free parking on site. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The continental breakfast offers the basics to get your day started, only complaint was not enough fresh fruit , only had apples and the muffins in stock were 2 mini ones. Overall though we were happy with our stay and would stay here again next time we pass through Kamloops.

This is a standard Travelodge in the high part of the city, away from the homeless population and near the main highway. Elevator to the upper floors. Access from outside. Adequate parking. Breakfast included a waffle maker that wasn't plugged in, fruit, muffins, yoghurt, etc. Beds were fine. Room temperature was fine.

There was a glitch on the system as our card was declined but the bank notified us the charge was successful. The front desk personnel assigned seemed to be new as she needed to call the regular staff via phone to report the incident. We were informed that the card was declined yet the charge went through. When we got to the room , same new personnel called my wife asking about her bank details. This is unexpected as we are hungry for rest as we came from a 7hour long drive.

I will not return!
I specifically requested wheelchair accessibility when I placed my reservation. I booked a suite that would sleep 6 even though there were only 4 in my party. That should not matter. The room had 1 queen bed in the bedroom. The living room contained a very uncomfortable murphy bed and 1 love seat and 1 chair at the desk. Clearly not able to sleep 6 bodies. When the murphy bed was "open" the door was blocked, which is very unsafe in case of emergency especially when you have a person in a wheelchair in the room. There was only 3 pillows in the bedroom. The murphy bed did have sheets and a blanket but no pillows. My older son ended up sleeping on the love seat as apparently the Travelodge does not have cots available. We had to request bedding and pillows for him to do be able to sleep on the love seat. The bathroom had towels for only 2 people and good thing we brought our own shampoo and body wash as there was only 1 bar of soap and 1 shampoo. The kitchenette had only 2 forks, 2 coffee mugs and assorted other dishes and cutlery. There were no pots to cook with. The complimentary coffee station only had 2 servings of coffee. The waffles for breakfast were tasty but there was nothing left of the fruit, muffins, bagels and eggs when we got there . The coffee was brown hot water. If you are a coffee drinker you know that is unpalatable.

The bathroom was not wheelchair accessible in any way, shape or form. We could not even get the wheelchair into the bathroom (had to carry my adult son) to use the toilet and sink and the shower/tub was completely unusable for a person unable to climb into a tub and stand independently. Basically my son went 3 days without showering or brushing his teeth.

All in all a very disappointing experience.

I had a terrible stay. The jacuzzi rub was full of hair and the bathroom tub had hair in it as well. The door was hard to open and after I complained I got no refund because it didnt meet hotel regulations. DO NOT RECOMEND. The front desk has to clean it and did not use proper cleaning material. So disappointed.

Do not stay in this hotel! Our son and his wife were accused of breaking a mirror in their room which was already broken when they arrived. Not only were they accused, their credit card was charged $800.00 without them even being contacted about it. Does this hotel do this to whomever stays in that room? This is completely wrong and unethical!

Pay attention to the fact that this is a motel. My room was the first one after the elevator/stairs which meant that every single person coming or going to their room had to walk past my window. Super creepy when I was trying to go to bed early. Not the hotel's fault, my own for not realizing when I booked. The room was tiny, and although it was clean, it was definitely old, and the bed could probably use replacing.

The front desk staff was so kind, extra polite, and just genuinely pleasant to be around.

Dirty room with wet carpet. Don’t stay here. Room was extremely dated with old furniture. The carpet needs replacing badly. It was dirty and wet by the bathroom. The brown paper bag with Costco water bottle, cookies and a bag of nuts was good but is cheap looking. Comforter was very thin and we were cold. The dirty outdoor pool is an eyesore. Put a cover on it. The carpet on the balconies was worn and a tripping hazard. The grounds were dirty with trash. We paid $200. After taxes. I will never stay here again.

This place is terrible, old and not a. Ice place to stay . Avoid if possible. The rooms are terrible , the bedding was old and laughable. They charge you $50 in case you smoke in their rooms , even after telling them we were not smokers . Took 3 days to refund the money. Just a terrible experience.

We stayed here twice, one week apart. The first night was fine but the second time the room we were given was terribly smoky with a cigarette smoke smell. As well, one of the sheets had a large body sized yellow stain on it which the front desk person changed but didn't know how to put the cover the right way. I helped her move the cover 90 degrees, she gave us an air freshener spray for the smoke smell (which didn't help at all) as she said there was no pet friendly room available to move us to. I know this sounds like one of those "complainer" reviews, but it was a very bad night for my wife who has trouble breathing.
