My wife and I decided on a romantic staycation for a couple of days. The room was gorgeous and the bed was comfortable. The jetted tub was well worth the extra expense! My wife and I definitely enjoyed the service we received while staying at the hotel.
This hotel was abysmal. The entire place needs a makeover. This is not an inexpensive place to stay, and it was very disappointing. The window drape was torn and dirty. The TV remote was missing. The hairdryer was broken. The key did not open the door to the breakfast area, and when we finally were let in, it was terribly hot. The grounds are unkempt. The staff was helpful, however.
This day was okay the breakfast were poor air conditioner was not working all the time no room service until we went down to ask for towels and toiletries they were pleasant but the place was just OK while we were there 4 days
The AC didn't work the whole time I was there. I had to sleep with the door open to survive because it was extremely hot. Reported the problem but it was never resolved. It is advertised as having a hot breakfast. I had a hot coffee and banana. One day I did see a waffle machine but that was it. The hotel is old and could use some maintenance and upgrading.
At check-in, we were greeted by an extremely helpful, pleasant and polite staff member. The pool and pool area are wonderful. The location is perfect, easy to get to from the highway and surrounded by great amenities. Highly recommended.
I will not return! I specifically requested wheelchair accessibility when I placed my reservation. I booked a suite that would sleep 6 even though there were only 4 in my party. That should not matter. The room had 1 queen bed in the bedroom. The living room contained a very uncomfortable murphy bed and 1 love seat and 1 chair at the desk. Clearly not able to sleep 6 bodies. When the murphy bed was "open" the door was blocked, which is very unsafe in case of emergency especially when you have a person in a wheelchair in the room. There was only 3 pillows in the bedroom. The murphy bed did have sheets and a blanket but no pillows. My older son ended up sleeping on the love seat as apparently the Travelodge does not have cots available. We had to request bedding and pillows for him to do be able to sleep on the love seat. The bathroom had towels for only 2 people and good thing we brought our own shampoo and body wash as there was only 1 bar of soap and 1 shampoo. The kitchenette had only 2 forks, 2 coffee mugs and assorted other dishes and cutlery. There were no pots to cook with. The complimentary coffee station only had 2 servings of coffee. The waffles for breakfast were tasty but there was nothing left of the fruit, muffins, bagels and eggs when we got there . The coffee was brown hot water. If you are a coffee drinker you know that is unpalatable. The bathroom was not wheelchair accessible in any way, shape or form. We could not even get the wheelchair into the bathroom (had to carry my adult son) to use the toilet and sink and the shower/tub was completely unusable for a person unable to climb into a tub and stand independently. Basically my son went 3 days without showering or brushing his teeth. All in all a very disappointing experience.…
Located just off the highway near Aberdeen Mall. Check in was quick and easy . The lady working at the front desk was friendly and pleasant to deal with during the check in. There is plenty of free parking on site. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The continental breakfast offers the basics to get your day started, only complaint was not enough fresh fruit , only had apples and the muffins in stock were 2 mini ones. Overall though we were happy with our stay and would stay here again next time we pass through Kamloops.
I've stayed at this hotel in the past and although it isn't the Ritz, it's clean and comfortable and the it's in a great area. The rooms are a great size and the price is right. I'd absolutely stay here again.
There was a glitch on the system as our card was declined but the bank notified us the charge was successful. The front desk personnel assigned seemed to be new as she needed to call the regular staff via phone to report the incident. We were informed that the card was declined yet the charge went through. When we got to the room , same new personnel called my wife asking about her bank details. This is unexpected as we are hungry for rest as we came from a 7hour long drive.
Stayed one night at this "Wyndham" motel, found it deplorably dirty and rundown. Cold at night as did not want to use the top comforter due to the stains on it. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows . The TV had good channels but was small for the room. Checked out the comp breakfast but pretty much had a coffee as there was not many choices I felt comfortable to eat. Reflective condition for the price I guess but won't darken their door way again.
