This motel is a dive. Old, dirty, everything smells like smoke, pee, or barf. Cheap everything except price. The only thing that was a bit of a consultation was the view, and that is only if you’re in the east side. Breakfast was minimal, milk was bad as I was sick later in the day.

Floors undulating, toilet rocked on it’s base, access to room was bad, and had to ask for towels. Breakfast was sufficient, used a low number of air miles, and bed was good. Will not stay there again.

I booked this property via Priceline. The pictures of the rooms looked fine and the price was affordable. What they don't tell you is this hotel is located in a known problem area of Kamloops. The homeless and lesser desireables have taken up residence and some businesses in the area have boarded up their windows and moved on... We never checked in because the area left us uncomfortable and unsafe.

Centrally located close to university and shopping area don’t know what you talking about. Although the hotel is dated and very tired, I assumed it was fine for a one night stay. Unfortunately have come away with a multitude of bug bites on my hands and arms. The dreaded three bite triangle. Avoid this hotel, there are plenty of other budget hotels in Kamloops that you can stay at.

How the saying goes you get what you pay for. As soon as we walked in the hallway to our room on the 1st floor I wanted to turn around and leave. Dirty carpet and walls. Not a good impression. Went in the room and it wasn’t any better, very out dated curtains and the bedding was all wrinkled sides of the mattress has holes and very uncomfortable mattress , the dresser was all scuffed up the floors weren’t very clean. You can hear people walking around in the room above us. Very sketchy area where the motel is located. The staff at check in was fantastic. Won’t be staying here again.

If you are looking for a place to stay, don't go with this awful place. I stayed here for a night but the quality is very disappointing..
The room was dusty that I can't stop coughing, and bed linen was overused and stained. The front desk people didn't seem they are working for customer, but just working just for themselves. They tried avoiding dealing with troubles and they are not sincere at all. I'll never visit this motel again.

Booked a room for five nights because I’m working in the area. As soon as I saw the room I didn’t want to stay there but was stuck because I booked it through a third party. I worked late on the fourth night, got to my room & heard voices coming from inside and my key wouldn’t work. I go to the front desk and they tell me they moved me to a different room because they had a long term rental they wanted to put in mine! 😡
Thankfully I didn’t feel comfortable leaving all my things in the room but my food was in the fridge and all they said they would reimburse me for it. No apology and so far I haven’t been reimbursed!

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience bought by some aspect of your visit .But It was all happen because of the misunderstanding and miscommunication. because on the very first day you called us that you want to cancel this booking. we told you to cancel through third party because it was a third party booking and you have to cancel through them and we cancelled it from our side. But than you showed up in the midnight. We were extremely busy that whole week but we adjust you for three nights in one of our nicest room. Than fourth day we tried to call you repeatedly since morning many times also send voicemails to you but haven't receive any response from your side. Than Manager check your room and it was all empty. So we kept another nice room for you and moved you into it and gave proper instructions to the front desk about it.We were ready to reimburse the inconvenience you got But than at the check out time you didn't showed up again.Anyways in the future whenever you come back to area please come by we will definitely try to do our best. Deciding at the last minute to stop in Kamloops for the night left us with limited options to choose from. Arriving late in the night we decided to try and save some money since we’d only need a hotel for 7 hours. Unfortunately the pictures on Expedia mislead me into believing this would be an alright place to stay for just a short sleep. Upon arrival the outside looked okay for a motel and we thought the inside may be okay too– we were very wrong. Walking into the hallway leading to our room the entire floor reeked of smoked, even though we had specifically asked for non-smoking and there were apparent non-smoking signs everywhere. We entered our room and immediately turned around to lock the door however, the deadbolt was apparently stuck or jammed and the chain-lock was torn off the wall! My boyfriend suspected the chain-lock could only be broken that way from the door being kicked in – just great. The carpet was beyond stained and the room smelt musty, which was of course accompanied by the smell of smoke. The air-conditioner turned on however it did not actually blow out cold air. The air that did manage to blow out smelt like mildew. We were at ground level which made me feel very uncomfortable since there are slum apartments literally right outside your window with rowdy unruly people occupying them. We reassured ourselves it was just a place to crash, and like always we would be up and back on the road by 7 a.m. I did not trust the cleanliness of the room and refused to sleep under the covers or in anything but my clothes, I took a coat out of my bag and used it to cover the pillow I planned on using. My boyfriend however was braver than I and decided it’d “probably be fine” and he could sleep in just his boxers. Even with long sleeves, pants and socks I still began to feel itchy. My boyfriend reassured me it was probably just in our heads and we were not falling victim to bed bugs. We finally tried to settle down and within only a few minutes a brawl began to break out on the street. All we could hear was men screaming and yelling and heard what appeared to be glassing breaking and shattering. Startled we got up and decided it was time to go. We did not feel safe and our vehicle was most definitely not. We quickly made an exit for the front desk, luckily we were refunded our money. We drove a short drive down the street to an established hotel and checked in. The first thing we did in our new room was shower and scrub ourselves down! My boyfriend felt that he had been bit on his legs, we inspected them only to find bites that formed the shape of a triangle – you know what that means. The moral of the story is, do not try to save a quick buck. And do not think that this dump is an appropriate place to spend a night or even an hour in our case! Just shell out the cash for a comfortable place that caters to human needs! If I could rate this place any lower, I would.

I was to travel from Edmonton to Vancouver and selected this hotel for a night's stay enroute. I made the booking from Expedia for stay on July 20 (booking was made in 24 hr window from the stay) and was happy to get the "No cancellation fee" option. Unfortunately with my wife's health condition and an infant accompanying, I had to cancel the booking on July 21. I called the hotel to cancel and was told that the "No cancellation fee" was for Expedia and no shows will be charged 100% by the hotel. or a 24 hr notice is required. I advised that the booking was done within the last 24 hrs, to which the answer was "You should've planned it better". Since, I had given my credit card info at the time of booking, the hotel gladly charged me the reservation fee in full. The hotel manager went to the extent of asking a doctor's note (maybe considering refunds), to make sure that our travel plans were disrupted due to my wife's medical condition. Since we had a doc's note from the Doctor in Edmonton, we emailed it to the hotel management.
The hotel management then showed total apathy and did not accept the note and side tracked form their conversation. All this was happening with Expedia being the party to it and facilitating the conversation. The hotel management did not bother to return my email or give a call to resolve it. For them, the forced payment they took form me, was the end of the story and they would care less about customer satisfaction. Totally disgusting in how they are only $$ minded. I won't go even close to this place, leave aside thinking of staying there, there are a lot of options out there.
So, I'm advising everyone to make sure to read the "fine prints" before you make any sort of booking either directly to the hotel or through a website...
