We stay here every year that we come to Kelowna and are always impressed. The hotel is like a two-minute walk from the downtown sail, and close to most of the action in Kelowna, but without any of the expected noise — it’s a nice quiet hotel. The customer service is also second to none. A bit expensive per night but you get what you pay for with this hotel considering the location and modern rooms (comfy beds, modern furniture and even quartz countertops all around).
We stayed one night in April, arriving about 3 pm. Check in was good. We managed to park in the underground lot; it's a single storey with relatively few spaces. A later arrival and we'd have been outside. The room was good - clean and comfortable. The hotel front was being redone - we had scaffolding outside the windows, and at one point some workers. We slept well, but there was a bit of disturbance in the early hours with someone in the hall yelling through a room door. Breakfast was good, as was checkout. The location is great - right in the downtown area within walking distance of many places. We recommend this hotel if staying in Kelowna. TIP: If you get in the underground lot, don't leave for dinner!
Saturday night of a long weekend so wasn't cheap, but gf b day. The bed was brutal , we both woke up very sore . The noise of doors slamming at 7 am was brutal . At 8:30 am there was a knock on the door, i got out of bed and in walks the cleaning lady! when we checked out all they said was sorry! Stuff happens and so do accidents and i can understand that, but for $400 for the night compensation should of happened
Ideal location for walking to restaurants downtown and there are lots of them. Went to Kelowna on golf trip and stayed 11 nights at Royal Anne Hotel. Staff friendly and helpful (desk/breakfast/cleaning).
I had a great experience staying at the hotel. Staff are super friendly. Fantastic location. I stayed on the second floor - there's a big balcony to lounge on. The bed and bedding are super comfy. Nice, quiet, and clean. I forgot my wallet and the staff were very helpful retrieving it for me and sending to my house. 100% recommend!
Room was large and clean. It's on the main street with all the cafes and restaurants. We were on level 2 which had a terrace facing the back of the hotel. Problem was there is an industrial installation which is quite noisy. There is not much parking underneath the hotel which operates on a first come, first served basis. It can be bit awkward to find the entrance to the back of the hotel it looks more like an alley. Breakfast was continental style and adequate.
The Royal Anne is in a great location, walkable to the lake and good restaurants. The room could use a refresher. The staff were accommodating but not enthusiastic. The continental breakfast was fine.
The front office staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and well appointed. The only challenge was finding parking in the parkade and even in the overflow lot. But they do have other parking options if a guest should encounter this. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.
My hubby and I stayed for three nights Monday to Thursday. The hotel is clean, the beds are comfy and was as quiet as any hotel would me. The staff were very friendly and the complimentary breakfast was fantastic. Location is close to the lake and many places to eat. Bernard Street has lost some of its quaintness due to covid and there are a number of homeless people as in any downtown area but they are harmless and we felt safe. Good value for your dollar.
The Royal Anne hotel met most of our needs quite well. They do not have an accessible suite but we decided to give it a go anyhow. The bath had grab bars for the tub and the room featured a recliner chair. The chair was very comfy but when we would try to put the foot rest back down it was very challenging and took two of us to do it. Those traveling with us said the one in their room was the same. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful with many selections. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were concerned about street noise but it was quiet and peaceful. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay with just two recommendations 1) replace the recliners with genuine La-Z-Boy brand recliners but please keep a recliner in the rooms 2) add a grab bar at the other end of the tub for those of us with balance issues. With those things addressed I would stay at 5he Royal Anne every time we visit Kelowna.…
