We were in a 1 bed suite overlooking the lake. Even in February the views, the light and the quiet was wonderful. The suite is spacious! Loads of storage and loads of stuff in the kitchen! I loved the fact it had a bathroom and powder room; pretty essential if there were 4 sharing - which its totally big enough for. The bedroom was very comfortable. Note, they have non-feather pillows in the hotel, which is hugely helpful for the feather allergic among us. For those traveling with pets, there is one floor that takes animals, which is also helpful if you're allergic to them. The hotel is now part of the El Dorado Resort, and the El Dorado hotel has a great pictorial history inside. We ate at the Lakeshore Dining Room. Fantastic food and worth every penny. The service is exemplary. The lounge is more relaxed, and had live music on Saturday night. We also did a guided whiskey tasting. That was great fun! Himself opted for the charcuterie board to go with it. I'm not sure where he put dinner afterwards as it was pretty substantial. Not to forget the pool, hot tub and sauna, which are open in winter, as is the outdoor hot tub. We will definitely return.…
Recently stayed in a one bedroom lake view suite and it was everything we hoped and more! Well appointed, beautiful view and everything you need in the kitchen to prepare meals. The resort experience was great with multiple pools and hot tubs, it never felt crowded. Beach access made for easy SUP launch. Amazing experiences in both restaurants.
Been here one night (Room 405) so far. Lovely staff and beautiful convenient location (to Lake and Pandosy). Older decor in rooms. Comfortable beds. The tub is deep so expect a big step over/in. Would be nice if they had more light in our room, hooks (for coats) on the wall in the entry way, and maybe a small bench to sit on for boot removal in the entry. A microwave in the room would be a bonus (there is a small fridge and Keurig for coffee (pods provided). There is one in the lobby, where there is also complimentary coffee. Looking forward to several more days here.
Comfortable, great service. Natalia was very helpful and professional. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Great spot for a staycation or vacation Great location as well. The amenities are exactly what is needed
We got a great deal through TravelZoo to try this hotel out along with a wine tour and it was fantastic. We were able to check in early, prior to leaving for our wine tour. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake and the room was very spacious and comfortable with a balcony. We ordered in from the Elderado restaurant which was convenient.
Enjoyed our stay at Manteo! The great experience started right at check-in with the super friendly and accommodating staff. They were more than willing to accommodate us with an early check-in and we were even upgraded to a lake view room with an incredible view. Room was big, beds were comfy and everything was super clean. Special shout out to Nataliia at the front desk, as well as the young gentleman who also worked the front desk. Would definitely return in the summer when we can enjoy the grounds and outdoor amenities more.
The staff were stellar, from the front desk to housekeeping! They were outstanding at making my stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you to: Allysa, Trudy, Angella, Jillian, Julianna, Sue Lynn, Eduardo, Danny. They made my recovery from surgery pleasant! This is my second long term stay at Manteo Resort and both were very positive experiences! Thank you!
Having Manteo host our special Retirement Gala was one of the best decisions we made. From start to finish, each detail not only met, but exceeded expectations. Each staff member was amazing. Our guests from far-and-wide were most impressed with the care they received. You are generous and wise hosts! The food was amazing, and every staff member ensured each detail was executed with care. Manteo is a total treasure, and certainly the perfect place to host special events. Thank you Lexxie, Ashley, Riley, and every staff member who ensured perfection.
Manteo rests at the edge of Okanagan Lake, with spectacular views: north to the neighbouring Rotary Beach, west down the lake to West Kelowna and Peachland, and south along the boardwalk to the Eldorado Resort. The beds are very comfortable and the blackout blinds let you sleep in. Manteo offers wellness services in the building, as well as a gym and indoor pool and hot tub in the adjacent building. It’s a nice short walk from Manteo to Gyro Beach where you can find more local dining options.
Our youngest son got married at the Manteo El Dorado resort this past weekend. Many of our family members booked either at the hotel or one of the many villas on site. I was more than impressed not only by the incredible service that we received from everyone at the hotel but just how attentive they were regardless of what we asked of them. Everyone at the hotel and I mean everyone from housekeeping crew, landscape crew, maintenance, front desk, banquet they were outstanding and attentive. We sincerely could not have asked for a better service. We also ate at many of the on-site restaurants and again fantastic service, excellent food and great staff to deal with. It was a wonderful week to spend in Kelowna at a wonderful resort and thank you to the Manteo and all of your staff for bringing it all together for us and making it that much more special 🤩🎉…
