Yes the view is pretty as it’s on the lake but it’s also next to a busy road. Definitely not what I was expecting when I booked. Also the breakfast was dismal and the coffee was so watered down, we couldn’t drink it. Went to find a coffee shop to get a morning coffee. Glad we only booked for the one night.

A very relaxing place with all rooms with a view of Long Lake. The Inn is extremely clean, very well maintained, quiet location, excellent service. All of the above and more are part of the great experience we got while staying but the view is definitely the best day and night.

It's the best of both worlds: a wonderful lake view, complete with kayak and peddleboat rentals, sitting right at the edge of a busy highway. All rooms have a private balcony or patio with BBQs on the property, which is also pet-friendly. Popular with families and plenty of parking onsite. Not a new property but simple accommodations: bathroom looked renovated and rooms are large, equipped with microwave and refrigerator, and big, bouncy beds. The old air-conditioner is very noisy but it blocks the white noise of the highway traffic. (You also get a constant breeze on the balcony but there were too many spiders for my liking to keep the door open!) Continental breakfast was ok -- prepackaged sweet pastries and such to go but still appreciated. TV channel options were meh. Staff is friendly. Would recommend to families who need to be near the city but want that lakefront vacation feel. Discount for Islanders and CAA/AAA members.

We stayed in newly renovated rooms. Spacious. Clean. We enjoyed the beautiful lake view. We prefer firm mattresses and found ours to be too soft. But I think soft mattresses are the norm in all hotels these days. Good continental breakfast. Special recognition to very nice and helpful Catherine (Manager), Morgan, Lenny. Housekeeping staff also very nice. Overall very pleasant stay.

We always stay here while in town, and this was the first time since Covid. Everything seemed in place for protocols and we felt quite comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was nice to be back after a long absence.
