Spectacular. The view was amazing, the price was great and the suite was huge. We have stayed here multiple times and never been disappointed. I cant remember the room number but it is on the main floor with 2 sliding glass doors, one from the bedroom and one from the living room. Will be back!

Thank you Laura M. It certainly sounds like you were staying in one of our Executive suites, with a living room and the large separate bedroom. They are very comfortable, and spacious, and having two balconies is a bit of a bonus, I think. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit to the Inn. James Young General...

Best relaxation we had during our vacation. The town of Nanaimo is so cool and worth the visit. This spot was beautiful view because we were facing the lake and my kids thought it was the best part of the stay. I totally would stay there again.

Thank you Fernando C! Nanaimo IS a great place to visit and I am thrilled to see people are starting to recognize our great little city. We have been named as one of the top places to visit by Tripadvisor and Expedia (and others) recently. I hope you are able to come back in the summer when you and the...

When we arrived I was surprised to see how close the hotel is to the road. We checked in late after coming off the 7:00 ferry from Horseshoe Bay with a young lady at the desk. She was pleasant. Before going to sleep we put the do not disturb on the door. I was startled by the racket of the...

We do appreciate your comments and concerns Les S. I am sorry that the housekeepers carts disturbed you-I certainly hope it wasn't too early in the day. We are trying to find some wheels that will work for the carts that are quieter on the exposed aggregate of our walkways. I hope your next stay with us is a little...

This is a retro hotel, with enough upgrades to make it very cozy. The rooms are large, quiet and contain a kitchenette that makes me remember the early days of travel in the car with my parents. The rooms are quiet, clean, and have a spectacular view of the lake. There are walking trails, and restaurants and a major mall...

Thank you 840craigd. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay at our Inn. We are very proud to be a truly unique property, not just one of the "box" hotels you so often see nowadays. While we are proud of our independence, we are still offering the same amenities as other properties- individual high speed WiFi modems in every...

Dog friendly inn has a great location. I was concerned about being so close to highway but the road traffic was not noticeable. All rooms look over the lake. Parking was good and staff was nice. Rooms are older but clean.

Thanks LParkCalgary for taking time to review our property. We do have a great location! Easy access to shopping, restaurants, and theatres, close to the major highways, yet nestled quietly right on the shore of Long Lake. Yes, we are near the highway, but when you go into your room and close the door, all that is behind you, and...

Thank you. It is great to know our efforts are appreciated. I know how easy it is to forget small items in a hotel, having done it myself. We keep a logbook of items we find, and are often able to get them back to their owners. We have returned everything from children's stuffed toys to upset tots, to returning...

Nice clean rooms, great view of the Lake. Very good complementary breakfast with good coffee and lots of variety. Will be nicer when current renovations are done (they are doing half at a time). Close to shopping malls and sports activity centers. Would certainly stay again.
