Cute little room in an incredible location! Steps away from the canal, a 5 minute walk from Coyote Cruises. A block from the lake and the strip where all the restaurants and bars are! Outdated decor, although the bathroom looked recently remodeled.

The room had a full size fridge, kitchen sink and stove/oven, and even included some dishes!

There was a back door that opened to the courtyard where the pool is, although it was closed when we went.

I noticed quite a few cobwebs on the property, which could be a result of a pared down housekeeping staff due to Covid.

Overall, a great stay, and would stay there again on my next trip!

We are not 5* luxury people, so it does not bother us that the motel is a little outdated. It's clean and has a great location for families.
Across the scooter park with a paid watch person, the adventure park,
the channel float entrance and around the corner from the lake, it's just great.

I think you could have made it work opening the pool, which would have given you the 5th star in our rating. Other motels along the stretch made it work.

Will see you again soon.

We have stayed here every year since 2007. It is an older property. The new owners are very busy with renovations. Our usual room on the ground floor was getting a new kitchen so we had a room on the second floor which has been redone and is very comfortable. Good bed, lots of space, full kitchen. This hotel is the perfect place for group bookings - the interior courtyard facilitates mingling. Many happy memories of staying here. Great location - a short walk to the canal floatie launch point, Lake Okanagan, beachfront restaurants, mini golf, a little shopping mall.

We’ve stayed here a number of times in previous year so we booked again this summer for our trip. Unfortunately it has changed hands and has slid downhill considerably

In the months leading up to arriving we called several times to confirm our reservation. This included the day of arriving but I was blown off being told “ya ya reservation here” even though they didn’t even take the time to look at my reservation on their system. We arrived to find our reservation had been cancelled and certainly not buy us

We were shoehorned into a room displacing some folks who hadn’t arrived yet and were told that we wouldn’t have to move rooms. however the very next day the owner came by after we were settled and told us we would have to move rooms

The guests in the room above us stomped around like elephants and when I brought up the situation with the front desk because I had no access to knock on the door of the room upstairs I simply got blown off again being told “ Ya ya they go to bed soon.” No help.

In previous stays we enjoyed our time here - not anymore. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this place.

My wife and I stayed here and to be honest we were pleasantly surprised. It was inexpensive, very clean, microwave, apartment sized fridge, cable TV and had air conditioning. And it was very quiet at night. All the things you need in a place to rest your head for the night.

We arrived unexpectedly at this motel and immediately received a very warm welcome from the hotel manager. We got a good apartment with a good balcony overlooking the garden, everything was clean and cozy. Staff were always cleaning outside and inside. We are grateful to have found this motel and would love to stay there again

I have spent my whole life going to Penticton and althoough usually we camp, I have stayed at various Motels once in a while. This was by far the best experience I've had. We stayed in the executive suite (5 of us) and it was clean, updated, bright, in a great location and the staff were 10/10. Friendly, helpful and professional. Highly recommend Riverside and we will definitely stay here again. Not sure what the prices are in the high season but it was incredibly affordable for us (we went October 2023).

Great family stay, clean, spacious rooms, gracious staff, central location. Seems like some guests stay for a while and get to know each other or block rooms but we enjoyed them and our grandkids loved the pool. We will definitely visit again!

My family and i stayed for a short couple of days and were not disappointed with the cleanliness and the convenience of the location. Came upon it on trip advisor or something like that. Loved the pool. and the BBQ facilities. Great place for the family to sit around and relax from the rat race. We will be back! I have reccommended it some friends already. Thank you Nick.

We had to move to a different room for our last night it was the big expensive room. There was a used famine napkin in the sofa, there were 'skid' marks on the bed spread on the murphy bed. there was a large mans t-shirt behind a pillow on the old filthy sofa, there was MOLD on the bathroom floor! The microwave sparked and stopped working the first time we used it. It was disgusting. The manager is RUDE! The barbecues do not work so you have to light them with a match - DANGEROUS! The manager got mad when we could not understand why you have to walk around the entire building to get into our suite when there is a door right off the pool. You can not open your room to the pool side. We go every year, we now stay someplace else. I would never stay here, nor would the four family we travel with yearly!
