We went for a few day beach vacation and didn't plan on spending a lot of time in the room, so for us it was great. It was clean, everything worked, and it's steps from the beach. Yes, our feet were black from whateverafe them that way....but the lake washed it off. We had a queen room with a suite living space and our 7 yr old slept on the pullout, she loved it.
I wish the pool was in operation, but again, the lake. Its not a 5 star hotel, it's a motel on the lake at a reasonable price, steps from the lake and all the amenities needed.
We will definately be going back! Thanks for a great vacation spot and good memories.

When we arrived the room they gave us not only looked like a 1970's time trap (very dated), it had a dirty toilet (being polite) and the room had obviously not been cleaned - food on the sofa, etc. I went back to the lobby, they apologized and luckily gave us another room. It was cleaner, still dirt in the corners of the room and spiderwebs, some areas could be considered an electrical nightmare...
There were 3 days they did not clean our room and I asked a younger cleaner for assistance she said they don't have time and that their priorities were only garbages and towels. We did not receive even those for 3 days... I complained and the head cleaner was always very lovely she did what she could to assist after being off those 3 days but by then we were quite frustrated with this experience.
There is a pool but was NOT open the entire time due to challenges with a renovation or permitting.
All of their staff were very kind with the exception of that one cleaner.
Another positive is having the kitchenette saved us a lot of eating out and the BBQs were fuelled up and good to use.
Consider before booking how much time you want to spend time outside versus being in your room.... I would not return to this motel.

but that's all.
uncomfortable mattress. bedspread with spots.
when we booked nothing said that the pool was closed because of the Covid. we only found out on the spot. but in reality it was being repaired. See picture
no BBQ
no housekeeper.
you had to go to the office every day to get clean towels, empty the garbage, get toilet paper, etc. yet the other motels had all of these services.
let's talk about household, the floor is very dirty. we had black feet if we walked barefoot. See picture
dust on furniture
We had to close the curtains to be private so very dark in the room even during the day. See picture
I had to wash the dishes before using them.
we are non-smokers and the room smelled of smoke.
very disappointed with this place for the price.
