Stayed for a few nights just to get away since travel has been restricted with Covid. Upon arrival, my wife went to check in, not realizing only one person allowed in, she went outside and watched the gentleman's wife walk in and not be asked to wait outside. Once she got in to register, another person came in and stood right inside the door and nothing said to her about one person only. Our room was right next to the mechanical room and seemed like every 20 minutes this horrible sound like an industrial vacuum happening, vert disturbing and carried on all night as well. TV in bedroom on a stand and can barely walk by it to get to bed, maybe consider a smaller TV and put on the wall. Kitchen was stocked well enough but dishes old and could use a change up. The sheers on the patio door were stained and you could see where they had been mended. Couch also had stains, and the room had an odor to it. Breakfast was available for the first time since Covid, you had to go it but wS a good selection. Last morning wanted breakfast in our room, stove didn't work. Property really needs an update. Weren't acknowledged as an Elite member until last minute after checking in.…
enjoyed the quiet just slightly away from the hubbub of town but close enough. Had a fridge issue but otherwise the stay was great. Even had a deer sitting under the tree outside to avoid the snow . Was very clean
We had a very pleasant 3 night stay here with our dog Lola. We live in town but had work being done at our home so i had to set up a full computer desk and work from the hotel which worried me regarding the internet not being high speed, it was, not an issue at all! The staff were amazing, friendly and super helpfull. And the take away breakfast did not disappoint. I would stay here again forsure and recommend to family and friends. Thanks to the staff again for being so great!
love the patio tables and green area in front of the rooms, grounds are always clean and tidy ,indoor and outdoor pools, close to the beach ,breakfast included and before covid was a great breakfast, and with covid still a good effort put forth
Had a room booked for someone that is disabled with a service dog, down on their luck So had a one night stay booked and went to extend it for 5 nights. Front desk advised they would not extend the stay. When asked if there had been a problem (which i doubted but wanted to ask ) was informed Managers decision no extension, no reason. When I called to talk to the manager I was not able to do so and again it was repeated Manager decision, no reason required, no extension. I understand there is the right to refuse service, but it should be based on some circumstance, but according the BW they do not need one. How sad, in this time when a small struggling tourist community rallies to help, that a business still operating refuses to step up. shameful
