Let's just say if you are looking for room service, or high class, this is not for you. If you are looking to save a few bucks, and just need a bed for the night, then this is for you. The office staff is nice, but hard to locate, and they don't speak english. Hold out for a better price than they give you at first, and they will give you a better deal, if it looks like you are going to walk away!
It is fairly clean, and no bed bugs, so that was good. The fridge didn't work, but the air conditioning did, which is important in the okanagan. No closed captioning on the T.V"s as they are older models, but again if you are looking for sleep this place will do, and we saved an average of $40.00 compared to other hotels in the area. Hope this helps.

Well there are quite a few options in Penticton - but this one is misleading. The price on the marquis is not the rate charged. The rooms are not soundproof by any stretch of the imagination, dirty dishes in the cupboards, lumpy mattress... enuff said.

I booked this hotel online.
We were not impressed. The sign says recent renovations..I don't know where because not in our room. The walls need fixing and new paint badly. Many tiles around the bathtub were cracked or broken. Poor installation of the bathtub faucet.
The air conditioner ..well, I don't know when it had been cleaned last, but it did work at least..thankfully.
The bed, well, the boxspring was stained, but the sheets were clean at least. Had to go buy our own pillows the next morning because they were very uncomfortable.
Cups for coffee looked like they had come from a flea market. We didn't bother.
The a/c was not going when we go there, and it was very hot outside, so it was hot in the room. The fridge was not plugged in either.
Floor was clean..laminate ..perhaps this was the renovation? But it was not installed properly either. Not going to last.
The extra chairs in the room likely came from a flea market as well, or a second hand store. Not a typical hotel room at all, and I do not recommend this motel to anyone.
It was cheap at $130 a night, but not worth that much at all!
Missing a few things in the room that a typical motel room would normally carry.
Reading the other reviews, there must be new owners to this place. The lady asked us a couple of times if we liked the room. My husband told her not so much at all!

We stood at the Granada Inn last weekend.
We were pleasantly surprised about our room.
Clean and up to date. Will stay again.
Only thing wrong was coffee creamer not offered in the room and towels were a bit small.

If I could rate this motel in the minus that would have been too kind. The picture they use is not what it actually looks like.
The room was dirty and gross. It looked liked like it had never seen a mop and rag. The bathroom had black crud all around the bottom of the wall. The door in the bedroom was ripped of it's hinge. People next door hollered all night. We would have left the same night if there would have been any other motel available. My advice is don't wait to book a motel in September you could end up with this one!!

Staying monthly in 2 weeks, the management got arrested they are always drunk and the female is on drugs, they have allowed needle pushers and other drug users in, the walls are super thin, right after that a person was randomly shot, DO NOT BRING CHILDREN HERE AS THE POLICE ARE HERE ON MANY OCCASIONS SOMETIMES UP TO 4 TIMES A NIGHT. Management digs through your garbage, you hear nothing but yelling and screaming all night long. Traffic all hours of the night. Will NEVER stay here again nor recommend to anyone. Run fast from here.

as soon as we checked in the room was a mess. There was hair on the floor, bugs in the room, about a 3 inch x 2 inch gap in the wall straight to outside around the air conditioner, one crummy bowl and two crummy mugs, no toaster or dish cloth or detergent, the toilet didn't work, and we had to call in a maid to clean the gunk out of the fridge.. There was also no wifi password as we were told was provided in the room. When we went to ask for a toaster and dish detergent, they had no detergent and the toaster they gave us was absolutely atrocious; Covered in grease and we shook out about a handful of crumbs from inside it. Hotel fail level 10

Wifi would not work, management very rude, bed bugs were found using a black light. They would not give a refund as we booked the room for three days, but left after one night. Very bad hotel, reported them too the better business bureau, and the chamber of commerce. My credit card company is investigating them. I know i will get my 2 nights that i paid for back, visa told me so. There are drug users there, the owners are drunks and or drug users. My advice is to stay away from this hotel. It has a very shadey past, and they have not cleaned up their act. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.

I have friends come to visit me from Vancouver. After calling a couple motels, they all closed after 10 pm. When we drove passing Granada Inn, we saw an open sign. It was almost midnight. The manager is an old gentleman. He was very friendly and his wife gives us a lot of good suggestions.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week in Oct 2014. The room was nice and big with fridge and microwave. The couple managing the motel were so friendly and helpful. Skaha Lake is not that far from this place. There is also a pub within walking distance.
