The bathroom had not been cleaned properly, there was hair on the radiator and spit and toothpaste in the sink. The lower part of the living room table had not been dusted in a long time. The blinds were dusty. I evacuated a large beetle and a small spider. No hair dryer. Staff was unfriendly. There was no one at the reception when I got there at 8:15 pm. I had to call and a lady came after about 15 minutes. She did not seem happy that I was there at all. Not recommended.

I was one of four female friends that stayed at the Pass Motor Inn. Before we booked at the Inn, we were very concerned what we would be walking into (as we had read some unkind comments on tripadvisor, the owners assured us we would be happy and so we booked for 7 days. When we arrived, we were shown the 2 rooms and everyone agreed it was clean and everyone was satisfied with our rooms! We were so happy with the price we paid, we appreciated that very much!

The owners did everything to make our stay very enjoyable and they are just delightful people. Shawn we loved your sense of humor!

The Pass Motor Inn is centrally located, so we walked to our event and most of the places we were visiting.

Guess what - there were no visits from any BED BUGS!!!

You also will enjoy your stay.

We stayed here six times in last 12 years. This is an affordable, clean, and decent place to stay. However, don't expect anything extraordinary. It is very basic and simple. You get value and location. Penticton is very expensive place to be in summer time eventhough there is no real high class or even middle class hotel( one exception for Casino Resort).
We enjoy the climate, environment, beaches, vineries, activities around town and many other things so find yourself.

Room was horrible. Everything about this place needs an upgrade. From the rooms to the linens. Nothing on the beds but threadbare sheets and a prison blanket. The “pool” is shut down, looks like it hasn’t been used in years and they still list it as an “amenity” on the app. The only positive thing I can bring myself to say is that at least the room was clean.

It’s a complete dump only worth it if you can’t find anything else. I’ve stay at Wyndham properties across North America almost exclusively due to work and that’s the chain my company has deals with, and this is the worst one I’ve seen by far. EVER.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

My sister and I and my 3 yr old daughter booked a stay at the Pass Motor Inn in Penticton for Aug long weekend. When we got there we noticed that the pool was drained they said it was due to COVID 19 but all the other motels had their pools open. Also pictures of the pool on the website looked nothing like the one we seen. There was no hot water for showers or washing hands. There was cigarette burns in the blankets on the bed. Paid 200$ a night to watch drug dealers and junkies come in and out of the rooms. The asian guy who owns and runs the place is a complete idiot he had the junkies who live in the rooms they are also the maids. This dump needs to be shut down!

a good friend of mine reserved a room for myself to quarantine over a 2 week period. he viewed the room and sent me photos. it was clean and looked modest and clean. the owner william, was told i had a small quiet dog. no problem he said. when i arrived i was given a different room. it was filthy and smelled of smoke and cigarettes. ii had no choice as he said everything else was taken. i requested another room and he just offerred me my money back. the rrom was paid for in full 2 months prior when i was over seas. the next day he charged me $100 extra for my dog. said he was never told. the room was so filthy i had to put an old comforter i borrowed over the couch. the carpet was so filthy i had to wear old socks around the unit and throw them out when i left. lots of druggies and shady characters in and out of the rooms all throughout the evening. woke up to find a homeless man passed out in a chair in front of my unit. in the two weeks i was there, they did not come in once to clean or change sheets. i had to ask twice a week for sheets, towels and other necesities. a horrible experience. william cannot speak english very well, but understands very well. a not so honest individual, regardless if he had only owned it for 3 months. disgusting place, but i was forced to stay as per my quarantine guidelies. could not relocate. give the pass a pass.

Not as advertised, no breakfast. Room were minimalist and hot water, well luke warm anyways in one room but not next. Area is sketchy, addicts doing drugs every time you turned around. Convenient stores in the area had security. Recommend try a different hotel.

The pool is filled in with sand and there is no breakfast. Its a construction zone. Stayed for one night and never managed to get got water either at night nor in the morning. The renovation is ok, but nothing works and the details have not been checked ie: fire detector in the drawer not installed. Stay elsewhere.

Horrible outside. Construction all over, messy, pool filled in with gravel.
Reception area wires hanging out of wall
No ice, no breakfast, loud AC took forever to cool down. Bathroom was ok. Kitchen had zero dishes. Phone didn’t work. Too late to cancel and find another hotel. Room had odour. Outdated.

I had a fantastic stay at Super8 Penticton. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The location was also perfect, with great access to all the local attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
