Dirty bathroom, no mattress cover, no blanket, no table phone on floor. Cable cord runs across floor, they try to conceal it under door mat. Hole in wall. No coffee pot as promised 😞. Got locked out twice, card key not working.

Best value for money. Location was great there were lot of restaurants and pizza places near by. Also walking distance to super store and Walmart. staff was very friendly. They have security cameras too for safe parking. Will definitely stay here again.

Room was horrible. Everything about this place needs an upgrade. From the rooms to the linens. Nothing on the beds but threadbare sheets and a prison blanket. The “pool” is shut down, looks like it hasn’t been used in years and they still list it as an “amenity” on the app. The only positive thing I can bring myself to say is that at least the room was clean. It’s a complete dump only worth it if you can’t find anything else. I’ve stay at Wyndham properties across North America almost exclusively due to work and that’s the chain my company has deals with, and this is the worst one I’ve seen by far. EVER. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Booked 2 rooms months in advance for 4 people in each. Arrived at 16:30, room not ready due no working vacuum. Had to request bedding for sofabed. Had room attendant remove underwear and condom wrappers from room and made up the sofabeds ourselves. Then had to ask for pillows. Then had to ask for pillowcases and towels. Keycards stopped working multiple times. Next door vacant room alarm went off at 6:00 AM two mornings in a row. Both times no one on site to turn them off. Filed customer care report with Wyndham after phoning their offshore call centre. The emailed back saying how important customer are, but told to take it up with the local manager. There are several independant motels adjacent to the Super 8 in Penticton that appeared in better shape. The staff at the Super 8 seemed inexperienced with room attendant unfamiliar with how to clean. We stayed 3 nights and did not receive any housekeeping. Stairway to 2nd floor rooms is in poor repair. Pool had about a foot of water in the deepend, but it was very uninviting.

Wow, well done Wyndham... You successfully have managed to ensure that the hotel industry has become a corrupt underground organization that allows the mistreatment and violation of guest rights...even when in the end we are paying customers, expecting what you seem to proudly advertise as a safe & respectful home away from home. Not only are your front desk staff beyond discriminative... they also have a knack for being hostile and disgustingly inappropriate when it comes to guest service within a so-caller establishment. Regardless of the condition of Super 8, it should carry the same values and mission of any running hospitality organization. Not only was our room unsanitary and bug infested... we also had a non-working tv, no cable, and we were denied any provided amenities such as towels, toilet paper, coffee, sugar, and creamers...let alone breakfast and use of laundry facility. We had to take our own garbage to the garbage bin all the way on the other side of the building. When we asked for towels, we were rudely told no...and after a week of using the same towels..we finally were "allowed" one towel for two people... and we had to walk all the way to the laundry room to give them our dirty towels in order to get the one new towel. When we asked for toilet, we were questioned why we needed it, and had to go buy our own?! Every night we had to hear loud people and constant partying...we even had a stanger banging on our door in the middle of the night. The front desk called us early in the morning blamming us for being too loud playing our non-existent video games all night with a non-working tv... Hmmm. Being a same-sex couple, we are not surprised with the treatment...it seems to be a on-going issue wherever we go. We called the Whyndem guest line to complain, and when bringing up discrimination and unruly treatment towards us, the agent LAUGHED! How F*CKING humiliating! What has happened to the hospitality industry?! There is no respect towards the guest...We are just a money maker to them. We politely asked the agent multiple times to transfer us to a manager as we wished to escalate our complaint, to which he denied multiple times.... Finally he transfered us to a woman who also was just as rude and insulting as the previous employee. She told us it would be resolved within a week, and then hung up on us...and in the end the issue wasn't reeolved. We weren't even being rude, we weren't yelling, and we spoke to them with respect... which we had hoped would be the same... It's completely unexceptable. Your whole organization is a lie. You state on your website, regarding your mission and values: "We make hotel travel possible for all. Wherever people go, Wyndham will be there to welcome them. This mission, along with our values, guides the way we do business every day." "Our signature Count on Me service culture encourages each team member to be responsive, be respectful and deliver great experiences to our guests" "We hold ourselves to the highest standards. We’re responsible, truthful and transparent. We do the right thing." "We honor our commitments and deliver results. Under any circumstance, we stand up and say: “Count on Me." "We respect differences in people, cultures, ideas and experiences. We foster partnership. We welcome all." "We never underestimate the power of compassion. We generously give our time, attention and action." That being said, they did hold true to their mission statement, let alone resolve or make right for the blatant mistreatment that they put apon us....and they most certainly did not even have the common courteosy to call us back after a week to ensure our satisfaction, let alone give us a sound piece of mind that our concerns were even heard let alone met. It's sad watching the hosoitatlity industry literally go down the drain, and the customer no longer comes first in their eyes, as the dollar bills seems to be a bigger concern in the end.

I had a fantastic stay at Super8 Penticton. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The location was also perfect, with great access to all the local attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

a good friend of mine reserved a room for myself to quarantine over a 2 week period. he viewed the room and sent me photos. it was clean and looked modest and clean. the owner william, was told i had a small quiet dog. no problem he said. when i arrived i was given a different room. it was filthy and smelled of smoke and cigarettes. ii had no choice as he said everything else was taken. i requested another room and he just offerred me my money back. the rrom was paid for in full 2 months prior when i was over seas. the next day he charged me $100 extra for my dog. said he was never told. the room was so filthy i had to put an old comforter i borrowed over the couch. the carpet was so filthy i had to wear old socks around the unit and throw them out when i left. lots of druggies and shady characters in and out of the rooms all throughout the evening. woke up to find a homeless man passed out in a chair in front of my unit. in the two weeks i was there, they did not come in once to clean or change sheets. i had to ask twice a week for sheets, towels and other necesities. a horrible experience. william cannot speak english very well, but understands very well. a not so honest individual, regardless if he had only owned it for 3 months. disgusting place, but i was forced to stay as per my quarantine guidelies. could not relocate. give the pass a pass.

My sister and I and my 3 yr old daughter booked a stay at the Pass Motor Inn in Penticton for Aug long weekend. When we got there we noticed that the pool was drained they said it was due to COVID 19 but all the other motels had their pools open. Also pictures of the pool on the website looked nothing like the one we seen. There was no hot water for showers or washing hands. There was cigarette burns in the blankets on the bed. Paid 200$ a night to watch drug dealers and junkies come in and out of the rooms. The asian guy who owns and runs the place is a complete idiot he had the junkies who live in the rooms they are also the maids. This dump needs to be shut down!

My wife and I had a terrible experience when we visited the motor pass motel. It was the only spot left available in town and we were far too tired to drive any further safely. Upon arrival we noticed a very high number of clearly intoxicated people who where literally screaming loudly about all the drugs they were about to do. Heroin was the drug of choice from what we gathered...So we quickly unloaded everything from our car into our room and locked it. The first thing we notice is the smoke detector is hanging from the ceiling with a plastic bag taped around it...The next thing we noticed is the bed was clearly falling apart..mind you it did have fresh clean sheets. There was also very questionable stains on the couch... The fan in the bathroom was also hanging from the ceiling...When we went to have a shower there was no hot water. Upon discovering there was no hot water we just went to bed with the plan to leave at the crack of dawn. Upon leaving in the morning we discover blood stains and splatter on the shower curtain in the bathroom and the carpets in the kitchen... To top it all off the man behind the desk behind the desk/owner only give us $20 off of our room price that was 149.50...
