We highly recommend the Valley star in Penticton! The rooms are clean and the property is very well maintained. The staff are all super friendly and we really enjoyed the pool and common bbq and dining area outside for spending time with friends who were staying in other units as well. The location is the best, just a short walk to skaha beach and super close to great restaurants and shops. We already booked in for next year!

My first holiday in Okanagan, Penticton. I couldn't choose better motel for myself and my family. Location - amazing, 5 minutes from Skaha Lake & beach. Accommodation - cozy, clean, comfy rooms, everything what we needed. Nice bedding and matrasses. I booked 3 rooms, each of them was 99% perfect ( the stoves should work better or be replaced in the future). Every room has a patio, very pleasant sitting with your morning coffee ( roof and eco tiles, private, tables and chairs....). It was a big seller for me. And very reasonable moneywise. Pool - clean, big enough for a large group of people and children -enough chairs, tables with umbrellas, lounges....just beautiful. Courtyard, landscaping and environment - gazebos, BBQs, beautiful flowers....you can enjoy it any time of your day. HOST FAMILY - Bimla, Poonam went extra mile to make mine and my family stay very memorable. They are hard working to keep the place clean, comfy and enjoyable. They are extremally client oriented . I must mention Bilmas's husband - a man who was always around doing something - landscaping, pool cleanings, always at the background , busy. I am really thankful to all of them for their hard work and positive attitude. Conclusion - I will be back for sure. I highly recommend Valley Star Motel to everybody who is looking for a warm and family environment. Zuzana.

If you are wanting a quaint and relaxing vacation in Penticton without a lot of other vacationers then the Valley Star Motel is for you. This little gem of a motel is very relaxing and quiet. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. You have your own deck to enjoy your coffee in the morning. If you don’t want to eat out every night, they provide bbq’s as well. We had a mini kitchenette which worked for us. This motel has a couple of gazebos in the grass to enjoy and they are also lit up in the evening. The pool area is very clean as well. Poonam and the rest of the staff at the Valley Star are very friendly and try to accommodate your requests. I would definitely recommend as we are already booked for another year. And, it is a 5 minute walk to Skaha Lake. Terry C. July 2022

I stayed in a room here for about 3 months (during the off-season) while in Penticton for an internship, and can’t say enough good things! The motel is very well-maintained, quiet, and in a great location. The room was clean and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of storage space that was ideal for my longer-term stay. The owners are an incredibly friendly and helpful family, and were always available when I needed anything. I can’t wait to stay here again the next time I visit Penticton!

We were very impressed with this motel. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had ample space and storage for 5 people. The kitchenette was fully stocked (from scissors to toaster to pots/pans). There are two gazebos in the small courtyard that were perfect for outdoor eating and each room has its own private patio with small table and chairs. We were also very impressed with the friendly and helpful family who operates the motel. It was the little things, like showing us around the room when we first arrived, that added to our experience. It is one block away from the beach, a large park, tennis courts, and several playgrounds. We will be booking here again for sure!

Thank you Valley Star for making my stay's so cozy and peaceful. On each visit I have enjoyed walking into a lit warm clean room after a day of work. My room had the most beautiful bed to get a good rest in. The bath tub was awesome to soak in. Each visit has been very quiet. The owners are so kind and friendly. I look forward to returning. Thank you again to Valley Star Staff.

We meet up with friends in Penticton and our first stay at the Valley Star. We were greeted by a cheerful lady when we pulled in. Nice clean lot and lawn areas. We were early and she asked us to go for lunch and come back. Which we did, no problem. Arrived back and room 16 was ready. Loved that it had a little bed in the living room, I snore so wife gets a break, LOL. Place was nice , fairly clean and laid out well. The king bed was super comfy as was the day bed in the living room area. Pillows where a bit weird but were pillow snobs so no fault. However I was washing some fruit in the kitchen sink and I removed my wedding ring to dry off my hands and it slipped of the countertop and under the fridge. This is were I got a bit of a shock. The fridge had not been pulled out for some time from what I seen when I went down to get my ring. Not the best housekeeping practices in my opinion. I didn't tell my wife about it, but she noticed herself the next day just from siting at the table. All and all it was a pretty good place to stay but the rates are a tad high in our opinion. We did enjoy the BBQ on site and the great seating areas, as well as the pool. Our friends stayed in 17 , same lay out and room. Their room was absolutely spotless, freshly painted and super clean. So hopefully ours was waiting for a freshen up? Would we stay again? Not sure depends on rates and if we could return to our original Penticton Motel. VS will not disappoint you though, I'm sure.
