A group of 36 seniors from the Fraser Valley toured the wine country in April 2015 and our first night was at the Penticton Lakeside Resort. Our rooms were ready when we arrived and the check-in was fast. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms. We ate supper in the Pub and watched the hockey game...

I was actually suprised. The rooms were clean minus the nasty stain on the shower curtain and loved that we got rooms with decks out the back facing the water. the beds were super comfortable. would be nice to have overhead lighting instead of lamps.

Needs some serious updating. Expensive, a bit of garbage in the room, smelly - spit in the elevator - what more needs to be said - might not be much choice in Penticton but this can't be as good as it gets. It does have a nice view of the lake so I suppose that is something ...

Best location in Penticton for a hotel. We have been coming to the Okanagan in the summer months since I was a child growing up in Alberta. I now come here with my family. Unfortunately, there hasn't been much growth with hotels in this city and many are sorely lacking in the refurbishment category - this is one of them....

We booked a executive suite, it was quite small, really cramped for four adults and two children. Furnishing could use an update. Lake view was excellent. Nightly turn down was a nice touch. Executive suite came with a twenty five dollar breakfast voucher and free parking. Breakfast was good.

went here for my birthday. Found the room dated. Not extremely comfortable. Dining was great! Staff nice. Hotel needs makeover and new carpeting for sure. Could use new bedding as well. Found the room noisy due to fan and lots of loud guests Outside arguing.

The view of the lake was very nice but the hotel itself was just ok. The furnishing is getting old and the place needs a renovation. We stayed here during the 1st week of March and found the room extremely warm, requiring the air conditioning to be turned on...a noisy unit which would be difficult to sleep with during the...

We met up with other hotel guests, and they showed us pictures they took of their hotel room bath tub, which was filled up of black hot water, so we went back up to our room and checked our water. It was VERY black and dirty! The front dest stated they had switched boilers. I am no mechanic or plumber,...

My trip was of a business / lifestyle nature. I had a lakeside room, beautiful view , enjoyed walking the waterfront and hanging out with the geese and mallards.. Rooms okay, ( a duvet would be a great addition ); staff amazing ! Their food/ menu items were quite varied and I enjoyed them making my am shake with my...

Penticton is the jewel of the Okanagan in my opinion, and the location of this Hotel is great. Everything I have to say about this Venue is just okay, as the premises and rooms are not in parallel to the scenery. Money is needed to bring this hotel up to it's potential....before it's to late!
