After reading one of the reviews, I wondered if we were staying at the same place! The managers of our 3 night stay were friendly, and very helpful. We were travelling with my 2 year old grandson, and he had a great time, but we do make our children behave in a reasonable fashion.Anyway.. it is an older motel that has been kept up to date but isn't luxurious. The kitchen was very well equipped to allow you to prepare meals for 4 people.Full size fridge, and full range.I hate having to go out for breakfast everyday (and the cost), so I loved having bacon and eggs , still in my pjs.We rented the Queen suite, with one separate bedroom, and a queen bed in the main room. The rooms were nice , and clean; the beds comfy, and the pillows were perfect! If you rent a unit in the one floor wings, you have nobody above you, and the concrete block walls keep all the noise out.It was one of the quietest places we have ever stayed.Since I am somewhat handicapped, I really appreciated no stairs, and parking right outside our door. The pool was really nice, and we spent quite a bit of time in it.I thought the price was reasonable , for the Labour Day weekend.I would have given a "5" rating except for the fact that the air conditioner was only able to handle our record breaking heat for the outer room, and I went and bought a big fan at Walmart , so that my kids wouldn't have a heat stroke when they shut their bedroom door.Made me decide to always carry a fan with us on our summer vacations. The motel is right near a big shopping center, and Walmart; licquor stores , etc.We would definitely stay there again!

Stayed here only one night but it was a basic, clean and super friendly motel. The 'pool in the parking lot' was spotless!! If you're looking for a great place to lay your head for a night or 2 this is a great place.

We stayed at the Flamingo Motel for two nights in July 2019 because we were looking for an inexpensive place to crash and this motel met the requirement. The best things about this motel: 1. it has concrete cinder block walls, so we did not hear any noise from the neighbouring units; 2. the location is one block to Tim Hortons and two blocks to Real Canadian Superstore. But you will not be walking to the the beach. This is basically a one star motel perfect for one or two nights if you are not willing to spend more money on better accommodation. It's clean enough.

Me and my husband stayed at the Flamingo Motel in September for 4 days we had a great time they have made some improvements to the property and it shows very well the pool was really nice and it was heated. The Owner Jeet is really welcoming and very friendly the rooms are older but very comfortable we had a kitchen suite and it was very big and had everything we needed. It is close to shopping and the beach which is great we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Jeet and family you are wonderful people and you have a really good property.

We drove to Penticton to find not one room was ready and construction was still taking place at another Motel. We were at the mercy of the owners of the Flamingo Motel. They went beyond and were able to give us a room with a Stove, Fridge, micro etc. Very helpful and we will be forever thankful. Awesome Pool, BBQ's although we did not use it's there to be used. Very Quiet and Peaceful. Close to all that Penticton offers.

I read some reviews on this motel and I was impressed..the reviews don't do it justice..Jeet, takes so much pride in this establishment it's incredible. I enjoy spending my money at independent owners and this place was well worth every dollar.. Haters will always hate . Will stay there again when visiting the area. Thanks again Jeet..

My friend and I grabbed a room with two beds and a kitchenette for 3 nights. The couple who operate the place were both helpful and gregarious.
We managed to lock ourselves out the first day we were here, and the owner was quick (and jovial) about helping us out.

100% would stay again. If you're looking for a modest price, and some bang for your buck, this is the place!

This motel was inexpensive and such a pleasure to stay at. Friendly, superior service from management. Our room was very clean, quiet, and outfitted well. Also, the motel is centrally located to all amenities. Our trip was short but we will definitely return for a longer stay.

Stayed during Ironman Week. Never Again. I will drive from out of town than stay with untrained motel owners. The cost was inflated for the room. ($125 plus tax) No plug in bathroom, chesterfield only comfortable place to sit. Mattress old and uncomfortable. Questionable about the pool care. Complained about the toilet and no reponse. Maid service questionable and only when requested. If the Family Basara who state they just bought this motel and are new to the buisness, want their investment to grow, they will not have return or repeat business if they don't give their guests a pleasant place to stay. I phoned to let them know and their son hung up on me. So avoid this spot on Skaha Lake road

this is the worst place we have ever stayed at. The owners are rude they rip you off and they take advantage of younger adults. They are nothing but rude and money hungry. We came in there were spiders EVERYWHERE. they had a used band aid on the flour, they had DIRTY SHEETS AND HAIR ON THE TOWELS. this is a joke I am warning you stay away this will be a total nightmare. I honestly do not have enough bad words to say about this place and they truly do not give care if you are happy or not with your stay as long as they got your money. It was so bad I slept the rest of the evening in my car.
