We stayed at this b&b for a wedding at the end of July. Needless to say it was hot! Getting to God's mountain was tough, as the turn is not well marked but that is part of the charm being hidden up in the hills above Skaha Lake. Our room was very cute with a little patio off the side...

No electronics, think hippie neat! What a beautiful setting for this eclectic homestead, surrounded by the arid hills of the Okanagan and the gorgeous vista of Skaha lake. You'll be absolutely mesmerised by all the 'back in time' knickknacks and, most likely, a few antiques in the home itself, but the wonderful thing that resonates is the hands on involvement...

If you must go, ensure you are not directed to basement which is musty, has subfloor ie no tile, hardwood or cover of any sort, spiders, webs and is generally shockingly filthy. Also do not forget to bring your own soap and shampoo as these 'luxuries' are not provided.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Gods Mountain in October last year. After staying at several hotels during our month visit to Canada, we totally fell in love with the comfortable and relaxed atmosphere of this place. It is quirky and very 'shabby chic' - Canadian style! The organic vineyard amidst the mountain is spectacular. Sarah...

Once again the wonderful Sarah and her loyal staff have surpassed our expectations. We return year after year (as do so many of the other guests) ... it's become a 'home from home' and we love to see other regulars each time. This year we found Sarah had introduced a new salt water swimming pool, which is fabulous (so much...

We booked a night at God's Mountain based on the beautiful pictures and glowing reviews on THEIR website. We were asked to pay the full amount up front, 2 weeks prior to our stay. They were the only place we booked during our 1 week stay in BC that required full payment up front. We were staying at another B&B...

After 10 years of owning God’s Mountain Estate I have learnt that I am not able to please everyone. However, this is the first time I have felt compelled to reply to a negative critique. Here are some important facts about this review... The room was not reserved by the person writing the review. The young man who reserved the...

God's Mountain is in a spectacular location with views and special places at every turn. This is a place that the owner Sarah treasures and it is a special experience to stay there. If you want TV, music (other than playing your guitar or perhaps the piano) and a standardized kind of experience this may not be for you. If...

God's Mountain is a beautiful place to spend a few days. The location above Skaha Lake is gorgeous. B&B doesn't seem like the right label for this exquisite house although your breakfast will be outstanding. Our suite was a two bedroom, sitting room with dining table and large bathroom. It was private, quiet and comfortable. The house itself offers a...

My friends and I have been staying at Gods Mountain for our annual wine trip for over 10 years. It is a quirky, quaint, charming, sprawling estate perched above a beautiful lake. It is truly a slice of heaven. Perhaps it is not for those who prefer manicured slickness. Gods Mountain is welcoming, comforting, comfortable and peaceful. The rooms are...
