A wonderful place which we can recommend to everybody! Maureen is an extremely friendly person. The cottage with a little kitchen was perfect. Our kids had lot of fun in the pool and with the outdoor games!

it’s a wonderful place to stay. Very nice cottage with a cosy seat outside in front of the bedroom. The host shows much hospitality, leaving cold pop and water for us in the fridge and some delicious treat on the kitchen counter, as well as small chocolate on our bed. And carrots to feed to the horses. When sitting outside we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds coming by regularly. Unfortunately we only stayed one night on our trip, but this is a wonderful place for a weekend break, away from the noisy cities. Also for children it is great to be here with a swimming pool and other things they can do. I can highly recommend Woodhouse Cottages and Ranch!! A highly satisfied traveller

Very warm welcome by Maureen, many little things were done to make us feel good: home made cinnemon buns, a frame with our names on tge wall. The cottage is a bit remote, but it’s quiet and beautifully decorated. For sure the best night of our 8000km trip in Canada.

Highly recommend! It was a last minute find for us and Maureen was so friendly and welcoming! Clean, comfortable cabins at a beautiful ranch. You will not find a more perfect place if you are travelling with pets! Also perfect stopping location if you are travelling to and from Alberta after a Prince Rupert fishing trip. We will be back!

I surprised my husband by renting the Bubble House. He knew we would be "camping" and that was it! Hint... it books up quickly, so book it ahead of time! We went during the hottest recordings for June, in the high 30s and low 40s. We were not able to go in thr bubble house when we arrived; however, as tent campers, I totally was prepared for that. We had a beautiful deck to set our stuff on, and right o their man-made lake we went swimming. It was a refreshing 28 degrees Celsius. It is beautiful. We spent most of our time there. We were able to get into the Bubble house around 9pm, and it was actually cooler in there and overnight than the night we came home. We were awakend early at 630am by the hot bright sun, and were lounging on our private deck at 730 (too hot to be in thr Bubble after that). We enjoyed delicious homemade cinnamon buns. Then we took the bikes Maureen let's her guests use and rode around the property. Then back to the lake we went tool cool off! We practically had it to ourselves most of our visit. We enjoyed the little time meeting people, and also enjoyed it just being us. Was a great mix. I was concerned the extreme heat would make it suffocating inside the Bubble (which it would if we had unrealistic expectations to go in during the majority of the day), but like I mentioned the night was better than being in our cool basement at home. Pros: beautifully setup. Beautiful comfy bed, and comfy pillows. High end set up. Love that there was a fridge... with the cinnamon buns, cold water bottles and pop. Having the fridge was a life saver as our "3Day cooler " in that heat could not keep up! Maureen: she is the most gracious host. She is just amazing if you are lucky enough to get to spend some time with her, I recommend it. She was super busy haying (she is such a hard worker) in the extreme heat, so we were blessed she came to quickly cool off in the pool. We enjoyed talking with her. Nora... their dog... she followed us around on our adventures and warned us of danger (it is the country and there are bears). She is such a great dog. I have allergies to dogs, so I keep a healthy distance and avoid getting attached to dogs, yet Nora is too amazing to not fall in love with! The property...beautiful... nice trails, open sky that reminds me of our times living in AB. The sky had bright orange sunsets both nights we were there. We checked out of the Bubble House part early (so they could clean before it became inhumanely too hot to do so), and Maureen graciously allowed us to use the lake area as long as we wanted. This was wonderful to stay and relax there until 2pm! Cons for some people: no shower and only outhouses for the Bubble house guests. I was prepared for camping, so it was not an issue for me. We will be back. At least to do the Bubble house closer to the fall if we can, as the sky will get darker faster. And we want to checkout the other lodging there! It is a great getaway, not too far from home. Highly recommend it.…

This was hands down the best vacation I have had in years. Maureen and Kevin are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to provide a memorable experience for all of their guests. The cottage was clean and cozy and completely stocked with every amenity you could possibly want. The horses are another treat, we had such fun with them! Although we didn't use the pool this time I will definitely be booking again and packing swimming gear. There just isn't enough room to say how wonderful this property really is and how kind and thoughtful the hosts are. Don't waste your money on a chain hotel in town when you could stay at this little gem.

Fabulous, wish we'd had more than one night. Maureen and Kevin clearly know how to make their guests feel welcome, at home, and their attention to detail is second to none. The property is beautiful, loved that it was dog friendly, and the kids loved the pool and the horses, not to mention the cinnamon buns. If you are in the Prince George area, this is the place to stay.

Had an unique time in a bubble tent at woodhouse cottage and ranch. The scenery, pool and bubble house were just perfect and way beyond our expectations. The owners Kevin and Maureen and their dog St bernard 🐾 are super friendly and very accommodating. It was such a relaxing weekend getaway!! Highly recommend this place.
