Salmon Valley Campground is located 25 minutes north of Prince George on Hwy 97. Our beautiful little campground has 35 campsites, many of which are along the river. We have 17 power and water sites (combination of 15 amp and 30 amp sites). Most of our sites are back-in, with a few pull-through, as well as tent sites for all camping enthusiasts. We have a Coffee and Treat Bar on site where you can access WIFI, serving specialty organic coffee, baked treats, ice cream, and our famous chocolate covered frozen cheesecake as well as some campground swag. We have clean washrooms with flushing toilets and free hot showers. We will be partnering up with a number of local businesses, artists and organizations to offer some fun activities and workshops at our campground this coming season. Our guests have raved about how welcome they feel and have fallen in love with our space. We have an easy and convenient booking system available on our website, and look forward to meeting you.
We enjoyed the quiet location Our site #4 backed on to the river. Large and private. Coffee in the morning listening to the little rapids. Our site has 30 amp service which is a treat for all necessary electrical needs. Only 20 minutes north off hwy 97. Reservation only so minimal traffic in and out.

Lovely spot by the river. Virtually empty as they only accept pre-booked. Very friendly staff. Would have given it five stars except for the showers which were the worst of the trip. Such an inadequate flow of water that I had to run around to get wet! Otherwise a nice place to stay.

Thank you for staying with us! We are sorry to hear your shower experience. I wish you had shared this with us while you were here. We have replaced the shower heads and there is a much better flow! We hope you give us another try if you visit Canada again.

Salmon Valley campground is a family run, amazing place located next to the Salmon River which gives so much pleasure to every day. I love falling asleep to the sound of the river. Our family spent many days in the water and watching other families having fun in the water. The Coffee Shack has the best ice cream and yummy treats. Bobbi & Frank & Sofia make sure that there is a community feel to the campground. BEST place ever to camp just a quick 25 minutes from the city

This is a beautiful campground, sites are large everything spotless. Have never met hosts as great as Bobbi and Frank always checking to make sure if you need anything. Wood is delivered promptly. Don’t forget to stop at the treat shack!

We were greeted warmly. Bobbie upgraded us to site 28 right on the river. Fire wood brought right to your site. The fresh baked cinnamon buns are to die for. I am disabled and found it fairly easy to get around. Well worth the trip for us.

There were 3 generations of family and 13 people in total spread over 4 sites and we all had a great time -- the spots are level, clean and the river was almost right outside our trailer doors, what more could you ask for? The bathrooms and showers were clean, the garbage was collected daily and we all enjoyed relaxing with ice cream and coffees from the coffee-treat shack numerous times.

Every stay here makes a new memory. Located along the Salmon River, this campground is fabulous. Sites are large, clean, firepits, some sites have 15amp or 30 amp power, wood available to purchase. Do yourself a favour and book a riverside campsite for 2022 season. You will be very glad you did.

We spent 3 nights in site #14 on the river side with our trailer. The site was clean, level & comfortable. Owners were always around to make sure we were doing fine. Bakery snacks and coffee at their treats bar we're delicious. Great area for exploring the riverside both in the water and on the shore. This is a great place for kids too. We'll be back!

Right off Highway 97 + its traffic noise is the coziest campground ever. Friendly owners + staff show pride in their gem of a spot beside the river. Clean shower house, spotless campsites, wood delivered with jugs of water to ensure fire safety for all. Very conscientious. We stayed 4 nights tenting in site 13, lots of room for 2 tents and an abundance of Saskatoon berries. Had fun with the horseshoe pits + playing games on the field, great home base for local attractions. Visited the Esker Prov park + Hubles Homestead nearby. After hot excursions so nice to come back, float or fly fish in the river. Can’t think of a better way to visit my girl that moved to PG. Don’t forget the coffee + cinnamon buns Well done!

We tented in site 13 for 3 nights. We slept great with the sound of the river all night! We loved spending the days cooling off with our feet in the river. The free showers and clean bathrooms are nice. Bobbi and Frank are wonderful hosts and make you feel like family. Can’t wait to go back!
