Salmon Valley Campground is located along a babbling river that lulls you to sleep each night. Campsites are super clean, fire pits with grills, clean wash house, sani dump on site, dry wood available at a reasonable price, split, kindling included delivered with a friendly smile.Super hosts Bobbi Jo and Frank make you feel like family, great community to stroll thru for walking. Coffee shop makes excellent lattes and sweet treats, ice cream available each night with frozen cheesecake on a stick to die for.

They work and effort that this campground has done to support the COVID 19 procedures was impressive. As such though things like the showers and the camp office were shut down and everything done through txt / email and friendly visits from the camp operators at a distance.
This is the cleanest campground you will experience. The firewood is reasonably priced and very dry. We are starting a tradition of this being our first and last campground of the season, 1 year running so far :)

Fantastic sites right on the river. The host, Bobbi, is very friendly and accommodating. Felt very comfortable and at home camping here for 4 nights. Close to PG if you need to run into town for supplies and not far from Bear Lake, Good Sir Nature Park and Huble Homestead. Would definitely camp here again. Only slight inconvenience is that the water has a slight odor and brown tint. It's perfectly safe and potable, just not the most inviting to drink. We used it for cooking, cleaning and coffee and brought bottled water to drink so it wasn't a problem for us at all.

Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to share your camping experience! Yes, we are located close to a lot of wonderful things to do and to the city. We are working on improving the filtration for our water this year. Unfortunately, it is very common in Salmon Valley and hoping we can make it better for our visitors. We do have it tested monthly and it is potable. Thank you for your comments!

We did our first 2 night get away at Salmon Valley Campground and couldn't have been more delighted with the location, facilities, cleanliness, and kind hosts. Our favourite activity was floating in the river right by our campsite. AND Bobbi made us delicious coffees one morning and then came back and invited campers for ice cream in the evening. We plan on returning in the near future and encourage our friends to join us! just be aware hwy 97 is close by so you do hear traffic noise but evenings it is minimal.

Right off Highway 97 + its traffic noise is the coziest campground ever.
Friendly owners + staff show pride in their gem of a spot beside the river. Clean shower house, spotless campsites, wood delivered with jugs of water to ensure fire safety for all.
Very conscientious.
We stayed 4 nights tenting in site 13, lots of room for 2 tents and an abundance of Saskatoon berries. Had fun with the horseshoe pits + playing games on the field, great home base for local attractions. Visited the Esker Prov park + Hubles Homestead nearby. After hot excursions so nice to come back, float or fly fish in the river.
Can’t think of a better way to visit my girl that moved to PG.
Don’t forget the coffee + cinnamon buns
Well done!

Every stay here makes a new memory. Located along the Salmon River, this campground is fabulous. Sites are large, clean, firepits, some sites have 15amp or 30 amp power, wood available to purchase. Do yourself a favour and book a riverside campsite for 2022 season. You will be very glad you did.

Only 12 minutes from home, but such a peaceful place to relax. Spent 5 nights there this week and slept like a baby - the sound of the river did the trick. Clean campground on the Salmon River. We didn't use the washroom but checked it out - nice big showers with lots of room for your clothing and towels (usually an issue at other places). A cute little trailer set up selling fresh coffee and goodies in the morning. Lots of acres for exploring or playing volleyball or tetherball. Each spot has a picnic table and firepit. We brought our own wood but they have wood for sale. Will definitely go back.

A one week camp with salmon river is becoming an annual tradition for us. We have a 28 ' trailer. The power and water sites are well spaced and sized, private. Campground is clean and well maintained, everything you need is found easily. Feels like you are in a park! So nice to sit on the riverbank and enjoy the view or explore the trails nearby. Definitely convenient to have on site sani dump available.

This year was of course a little different, the campground has strong COVID protocols in place - clear and easy to follow.

Spent 2 nights at a spot by the river. The campsite is right off the highway and easy to find. The site is absolutely gorgeous and had the cleanest camp facilities I've ever seen (free shower, flush toilets, washing stations). The owner Bobbi was a gracious host, and I can't wait to be back for some of the summer activities and workshops she has planned. Also- delicious coffee and firewood brought right to my site!!! Could not have asked for a better mini vacation.

Salmon Valley campground is a family run, amazing place located next to the Salmon River which gives so much pleasure to every day. I love falling asleep to the sound of the river. Our family spent many days in the water and watching other families having fun in the water. The Coffee Shack has the best ice cream and yummy treats. Bobbi & Frank & Sofia make sure that there is a community feel to the campground. BEST place ever to camp just a quick 25 minutes from the city
