I stayed with Jess and Holly for a month and in leaving there, I felt like I was leaving home. They are great people to stay with and the rooms even though I was at a discounted rate were cleaned everyday. My kitchenette provided me with everything I needed to prepare full meals. If there was something I asked for whether it was the front desk or housekeeping, they went out of their way to accommodate me. The rooms have been recently renovated with comfortable beds and the best pillows ever. The room was very clean and coffee available in the room. Lots of towels hand towels and facecloths provided daily if I needed them. The air conditioning worked very well. They really are pet friendly and I already miss their little dog Hunter. The hotel is safe to stay as they walk the property all the time and have a great video surveillance system with large TV’s in the office area that they monitor. The hotel is right on the highway and shopping is very close. Stay at the Carmel Ann and enjoy a meal at the Carmel Restaurant. Great food with many choices of meals.

This was one of 23 properties I stayed in on a 30-day trip between northern Wisconsin and Anchorage (with a few side trips). I had a 2nd floor room and there is no elevator, so you'll need to lug your suitcases up an outside stairway. Parking is immediately adjacent to the building (nose forward). The rooms are quite compact, the bed was comfortable, and it was fairly quiet. There isn't much, if any, room to use as a desk so at least for me, I'd view this as very basic lodging primarily for sleeping. One night is fine, but I wouldn't want to stay longer here at one stretch. It's much easier to access the Carmel Inn from BC-97 than it is from BC-16 (Yellowhead Highway).

This is the best pet friendly hotel we've stayed at! The rooms are very nice, and they have a fenced area to let your babies play. They are conveniently located to the Carmel Restaurant, so a hot meal or a cocktail is nearby. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

We have been regular customers of this hotel for over 10 years. We have always had friendly service and have felt rooms are a good value. Our most recent stay was not so friendly. Upon our arrival front desk could not even muster a "hello" as we walked through the door, only spoke to us once we stated we had a reservation. Was shocked that price of room increased by $30. Since our stay less than a year ago.Once we checked into our room we noted that room not completely cleaned. Brought to front desk's attention. Front desk simply picked up phone called housekeeping and replied that housekeeping would come to room. Nothing else said. No apology nothing. Housekeeping came to room cleansed areas of concern apologized profusely. We feel disappointed with our service. We suspect new management? Most likely will not return. Also website not updated in room availability.

I’ve been staying here every time I’ve come to Prince for 4 years. It has been going downhill, they don’t replace anything from what I have seen. Stayed here last night the bathtub was plugged in by the time I was done the shower it was half full of water.

Got a new room today while having a shower the showerhead blew off smack me in the face with full pressure water. Took the showerhead to the office and the lady just blew it off and asked me what room it was. They were offered me another room nothing. Come back to my room got ready to go to sleep looked up and the fire alarm is hanging off the ceiling. Time to find a new hotel.

The room we were initially assigned reeked of smoke upon arrival despite the fact there are "no-smoking" signs on every door. The room we were reassigned to had a full ash tray sitting on top of the air conditioner. In fact, there were full ash trays strewn outside of most of the rooms. When I mentioned this to the front desk person, she said that they ask guests to smoke only in the "designated smoking areas", none of which were apparent. I guess her idea of allowing smoking in front of a room, but not actually in the room, is the same as having a no peeing section in a pool.

Room was filthy with large clumps of dirt on the floor. Kleenex box was empty. No hot water.

Cold drink dispenser in the lobby is "cash only".. Who uses cash in a post-covid era? When I asked whether we could simply charge a couple of drinks to our room as we just had a long hot ride, we were told "No" since the ownership of the drink vending machine is different from the hotel and they don't want drink revenues going through the hotel. Well, they got their wish. We bought cold drinks at the gas station next door.

Front desk staff are indifferent to your needs and housekeeping is non-existent. Avoid this place.

I first stayed at your motel 12 years ago when I was traveling through Prince George as it was a 1/2 way point from Haida Gwaii to Langley, where my parents lived. I would stay at your Motel 3-5 times a year and have always enjoyed the experience. The rooms were clean, the staff polite and you had a restaurant next door. This past October I was once again travelling through with the intention of staying at your motel once again.
When I went to the office to book a room for the night, I was attended to by a rather large, overweight and obnoxious fellow who said he would not honor my Cash Passport Mastercard as that was the new policy. I offered my Debit card and was refused that as well. The counter person then suggested I try the motel several doors down. I have never been refused a room at a motel until that day and was disappointed by the uncaring attitude of the counter person. I hope that you have lots of business in the future because you won't get any more of my business, nor any of my associates.

As with other comments, my wife and I have stayed here many times over the past years and enjoyed our stays. This time was so different starting with our arrival at the front desk. Very unfriendly manager. room was only so-so and obviously no one paying any attention the parking lot garbage or 2 foot weeds growing alongside the buildings. Worst food and service in the restaurant that I have had for a long time. No stay here nor eat again. Turning into a dump. Was always a well run place.

This appears to be an older building, but we were pleasantly surprised that it was very nice. It was warm and cozy. It had everything we needed, and was clean with a hot shower. We would definitely stay again. The staff was friendly and efficient and answered any need we had. It was quiet and a great night's sleep.

Very old motel that stinks of cigarette smokes, must be in the curtains and the walls. Also, bunch of clients smoking just outside their doors. Not a good place to sleep if your non-smoker. And, contrary to what's on some of the info: they do not have complimentary breakfast.
