We had a good trip, our room was clean and the service was great. The location is not ideal in terms of safety but certainly lots of restaurants within walking distance but I wouldn’t recommend going out solo late at night unfortunately they don’t have room service dine in either . We got unlucky with people partying very loud across the hall. However it was comfy enough for two nights. Parking is sketchy due to the location and the homeless community breaking into the vehicle besides ours which was in the “secured” parcade… overall I’d say about at 6/10 because the service and it was clean.

Response from Irene Macabalitao, Owner at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Prince George
Responded Dec 7, 2023
Dear Marynblossom, I appreciate your detailed feedback about your recent trip at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Prince George. I'm pleased to hear that your room was clean, and you received great service from the hotel staff. It's positive that there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, adding convenience to your stay. It's unfortunate that you had to deal with noise disruptions from a nearby party, and I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused. If there's anything specific you believe could enhance the guest experience or if you have additional suggestions, your insights could be valuable for both future guests and the hotel management. Thank you for sharing your experience, and I hope your future travels bring you more comfortable stays. Safe travels!

Overall the property is very nice. Bedding and linens are clean and comfortable with lots of pillows. I requested additional toiletries and towels and the service was prompt and courteous. This always one of my go to hotels in Prince George.

They charge you $25 additional dollars a day for house keeping. The rooms were beautiful though and location is breath taking. I was just shocked for the $75 I was charged ontop of the room which was not budget for.

Booked this for the BC Summer Games. Booked a king room for me and my kid.
The bathroom walls are glass- like clear and offer NO privacy. You can watch the person you are staying with use the toilet!
The rooms are only changed over every three days so you have to ask for more coffee pods and water every day. When I asked to have my room changed over before the three day mark they told me they could t do it because the hotel was too booked- I just wanted more wash cloths and some more towels.
No towels at the pool so you have to walk around the hotel dripping wet (even after we asked for them multiple times).
The Starbucks in the hotel is only open until 2pm.
Front desk is super slow.
Very limited parking, not enough for every guest and it’s parkade parking with small spaces so difficult if you drive a truck.
There is an in room fridge and the AC was good. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, pay a little more and go somewhere nicer.

Unfortunately this is a pretty average hotel experience. The location is great. The lobby is nice. The staff was friendly, but not particularly helpful. This was the first night of a monthlong road trip. We booked the bed and breakfast, we checked in. Later that evening we checked back at the desk for details on breakfast. We were told no breakfast because of Covid. Understandable, but an email or phone call ahead of our arrival would have been nice. Notification when we checked in. The website is still selling the bed and breakfast option. We were charged the same price until I asked if we would receive a refund for the breakfast portion.
We had a car full of stuff. I asked for a luggage cart. I was told they have them, but none currently at the desk. A large drink was spilled in the elevator. The front desk was aware and called housekeeping. Four trips from the car to the room and the elevator was not clean or locked off.
The shower head sprayed the ceiling as much as the body. The 20th century window mounted air conditioner made such a racket that we had to chose between temperature and noise comfort. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

The pictures you see are of a different hotel don’t be fooled by the nice new lobby the rooms are old. Be careful if you use the free secure parking there is broken glass and bloody stains everywhere in that sketchy parcade. When I used my scheduled pool time an unmasked family of 4 barged in and tried to kick me out. Staff are nice but they require you to give them a reason for staying. Makes you feel like they are deciding whether or not you are allowed to stay . I was asked “ Why are you here sir” and not in a nice way. Like “what are you doing here!?” Not a place where you can just quietly check in you have to give them a reason justifying your choice. That’s why I prefer air b n b you can just show up and go to your room without having to do the whole check in song and dance.

Been there for a week. The first night when we just arrived refrigerator makes a lot of noise. The second night hall light was flashing. The fours night neighbours for the 4th floor lick our room with water in our bed so we need to move to another apartment which takes us a lot of time. And for the last night in the new apartment was not so cozy what it was supposed to be. Refrigerate doesn't work in the new room. And for the checkout, we got an extremely unprofessional and rude conversation with the reception person. She can not explain and print our recipe for extended days and have no explanation for the reason why the damage deposit was different for each of the days
She just skips the answer and goes to another customer without an answer for us.

A plus for the rain shower feature, a sense of uncomfortable having a huge mirror in front of the shower. Beds were fluffy and temperature was set to comfort. Stayed for business for 3 nights my room was not cleaned nor topped up. I had to wait until I ran into the room attendant to get more coffee n essentials such as clean towels etc. Was sitting in Starbucks down stairs, a young man with tattoos on his face, pants half way down his butt came into the establishment with 1 long knife (dagger) and a shorter knife in his pocket tried going up elevator, reception informed he has to stay here in order to go up in the elevator, he comes into Starbucks just standing there. I leave, I was not feeling secure looking at the weapons on his body. I go up to my room I inform the matainence guy. He said the cops won't do anything if they call the cops understands why vehicles are needing security, location is in the midst of high risk individuals. I didn't feel safe leaving the hotel especially at night. I go outside I am continually asked for money or cigarettes. Bless their souls and sending prayers of strength of seeking and finding the help they need. But this definitely tarnishes the sense of customer safety and lack of continuity of upkeeping of the room.

Hotel is recently renovated however for those sharing a room with someone the bathrooms are a disaster. Clear glass walls to room mean lack of privacy unless heavy door closed tight to turn glass opaque. Mirror lighting is impossible to apply makeup effectively. No blow dryer and hotel was unable to provide. First up to use bathroom means light thru glass wall wakes up all roommates.
