On forehand our expectations were very low. We only stayed here for a night on our way to Port Hardy and needed a place to sleep.
The Prince Motel is cheap, but good value for your money; it's clean..

Don't be fooled by the rather scruffy appearence of the exterior of this property. For $67 per night it is great value.
Rooms are large and roomy with two queen size beds, writing table and chairs, cupboard space, microwave and frig, with small TV.
Very clean and close to fast food eateries. We bought some food from close by shopping mall and cooked our own- relaxing after a long drive.
Bathroom is roomy. clean, shower over bath, toiletries supplied
This little place is a terrific find and if you are passing through or staying a few days it is ideal.
There are also some units available with kitchen facilities at a slightly increased price.
Check in was smooth and the check in guy was pleasant and helpful.
Give it a try

We stayed here one night passing through Prince George on our way from Prince Rupert to Jasper. All we wanted was a place to sleep. The Prince Motel server the purpose. Located literally on the highway. We paid only CAD 49. The room was very clean, the bed was good, and there was AC, a fridge and a coffe maker.

This was a nice place to stay, the service was very good, the rooms were clean and quite. It was nice enough and we were tired so we stayed another night. I would recommend this place for any family to stay. The price was reasonable. We would come back.

It was my first visit to PG with my family and we were absolutely satisfied while staying at the this motel. We've stayed in two rooms and both rooms were very clean (carpet, bedding, washroom, etc). When I looked at a place in website, I didn't expect this much of value as the price was fairly cheap too.

This motel has very good priced clean rooms and friendly owners.

We are definitely going back!

Disgusting rooms / dirty stained everything / tried to cut my stay short but front desk said no way. Had to call me credit card company to dispute charges. Worst hotel I've ever seen - any renovation might have been in the 1970's

. Bed was old. Stayed in last row. Room was old. Later that night was bitten up by bed bugs. Never again. Had stayed there before in front row of rooms. ones in back are old with old bed. Infested with bed bugs. Left early. Had been offered another room but declined. I would rather stay somewhere else.

Its cheaper then most places but its not worth it, the bed was hard and you could feel all the springs, the wifi barely worked, the AC unit would make the sound of a door slamming when every 20-30 minutes, the interior was old and outdated, and there was no way to keep the outside light from lighting up the room at night, the curtains that were there did do their job at all.

Decent place to stay if all you need are a good bed and a clean bathroom. Very reasonably priced as well. My family has stayed here several times when we drive from Prince Rupert to Vancouver and back and we have never had any problems with the staff or the cleanliness of the rooms. Staying here again in August.

I booked my stay through Expedia. They refused to honour the price and demanded 20 additional dollars per night. Was extremely rude on the phone. I am missed out on other rooms because of this issue. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
