Stayed here frequently. I booked two reservations a week apart and they only sent confirmation of the second one then when I email they sent me the same confirmation. They called to say they couldn’t find the first one. When we checked in they automatically put a hold on our credit card for $600 for a 3 night stay! Cost for the damage deposit is more than the room. People should be informed when they make the reservation as not everyone can afford this to be held for a week. It gets released but takes up to week to be credited back. We have never had to pay a damage deposit before and we’ve stayed over 40-50 times since they opened. Also they aren’t enforcing their own rules around pool and spa use. People were waiting to use but they allowed some guests to stay for 2hrs and didn’t ask them to leave their rule is 30mins so other guests can enjoy it as well as only groups of 6 are allowed at this time due to COVID.
The rooms are ok but showing their age perhaps they should have renovated before expanding. Second stay the shower pull was stuck.

Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay with us, I appreciate your feedback. I apologize for any misunderstanding during your visit and hope this explanation will help. The charge on your credit card was Pre Authorization which includes Room & Tax plus any charges to the room and it also gets release upon check in , Pre Authorization are based on number room nights and we explain this procedure upon check in. We are following Strick COVID-19 protocols for the safety of our valued guests and employees that's way we book everyone in an hour time slot to use swimming pool and we have also extended our pool hours . I’ve stayed at a lot of different hotels in Prince George and I can say this one is the best, starting with front desk people like arun and alap as well as others who are professional and extremely efficient at their work to the very clean and comfortable rooms. There is also the grand trunk pub/ restaurant with an amazing host Lindsay who delivers one of the best beef dips ever. A must try

We had a wonderful stay at the Treasure Cove Prestige. Our room had a lovely little mudroom area that was perfect for storing our muddy gear without worrying about messing up the carpets, and there was loads of storage for all our things! The shower was big and had good water pressure and our bed was clean, perfectly firm and had lots of plugs available around it. There were also so many pillows it was perfect. We had the newly offered continental breakfast which was a perfect way to start the day, and we had drinks at the Grand Trunk bar in the evening which were ridiculously good and cheap at happy hour.

The company booked my room at this location because we had meetings in their Penthouse Meeting room during the week. Never again.

The location looks great from the maps, but once on the property you find there is no way to head west without taking a long detour either through a shopping mall or going downtown Prince George. Highway 16 has a solid median to control traffic. "Resort" is a long stretch of the imagination.

Breakfast is available starting at 11am: yes you read that right 11am, so you need to drive to the closest restaurant (nothing within walking distance). They have a take-away coffee shop with very limited selection available for twice the price of any other coffee shop ($11.50 for an English muffin with egg and ham).

There is a casino attached to - but not accessible from the hotel - the only saving grace for this property.

This location advertises that they "Welcomes Best Western Members" but the front desk has no concept as to how to incorporate the BW Membership number into their systems, nor is it anywhere on their reservation system.
When visiting Prince George there are much, much better choices for places to stay on a business trip.

I recently booked a room at this facility in Prince George. I specifically chose this facility because of the amenities that were offered on the website. I requested a room that had a fireplace and jetted tub. When I arrived on January 21, 2021, I was assigned to a room which did have a fireplace and jetted tub. Turned out the fireplace didn’t work. I had two different staff members come up prior to 6pm and they both said that they would call Maintenance. It wasn’t until 2 hours later when I called the Front Desk that they informed me the call to Maintenance was not going to happen that night. This meant the fireplace in the room was not useable for the night of my stay.
I asked to speak with the manager upon check out and was told if I had any issue, I had to contact the booking agency,
I asked for and paid for a room with a fireplace and jetted tub. In spite of the fireplace not working, the hotel has refused to reimburse me in any way because of their cancellation policy. I did NOT cancel anything.
If I had know that amenities listed on the web site were not available, I would have not booked a room at this facility.

The bad experience started with the reservations person at the front desk forgetting to email my confirmation. I had to waste my time asking for it the next day. On arrival, the entrance to the casino was imposing, but the entrance to the hotel didn't even have a rain cover. Because of my mobility challenge, we asked for a room close to the elevator, and received a room at the end of the hall, with a low toilet, and a high bathtub to step over. When I asked at the front desk for decaf coffee for the room, I was brought regular. The restaurant was not even up to diner standards, with no wine list other than very cheap choices by the glass. The room was clean, but the bed left me in pain the next day.

I stay here regularly and won’t stay anywhere else in Prince George. The rooms in the new section are better than 5 star hotels in Vancouver. The beds and linens are extremely comfortable, and the climate controls are great (the air conditioning makes the room very comfortable). The rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff are wonderful, especially Joseph who is always friendly and welcoming. I travel for work and always look forward to my stay here. Can’t wait to come back.

Free breakfast was cancelled restaurant is only open on weekends and very expensive for breakfast. Also a casino attached - we used to get a 10.00 credit. This also was discontinued. Two reasons why we used to stay here, now we will shop around.

For the price, nearly $200 per night, I expected more. There was no continental breakfast. My children and I waited for over an hour for our breakfast in what might be a wedding reception room. It was strange and uncomfortable. The servers were polite but inefficient and lacking ability to serve multiple tables. The pool and waterslide area are basic. The parking lot was crowded, I could not find a parking spot remotely close to the hotel entrance. Upon checking in, we were told to park in the rear/behind the hotel.

This best western hotel is nice to look at but not being able to sleep through the night sure made it not enjoyable. There was a constant ticking in the walls which reminded me of a leaky faucet dripping. Highway noise at this hotel is horrific. If you are a light sleeper like myself, I would avoid staying here. I ran the fan on high all night but it still didn't mask the highway noise. My experience either breakfast was also horrible. The restaurant opens st 7am, however nothing was setup and the server wasn't there until around 7:30. Do not drink the coffee! Absolute garbage. There were 2 other tables with people at them. My order came out incorrect, with burnt eggs and cold toast. I left hungry as I didn't have time for kitchen staff to learn how to cook. I visited the casino the night if my arrival and it was pretty good. You can't access it from the hotel but it's a quick duck outside then you are there. Pleasant staff and decent drinks and food. Overall, I would never stay at this hotel again.
