We delivered our daughter to UNBC and stayed 2 nights at this beautiful B & B. Amazing flowers outside, great food and conversation inside! Rate was comparable to hotel, but much more comfortable. Highly recommend!

Excellent place to stay .... fantastic property .... very peaceful surroundings....beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean....warm hospitality.... friendly conversations.... delightful room....comfortable bed. After a long day, a slice of pie and cookies were waiting for me as well as a choice of a hot or cold beverage. Breakfast was over the top delicious - yum! After enjoying a lovely breakfast and...

Unfortunately we had only time to stay at Joyce' and Ted's place for one night. However we really enjoyed the hospitality in their comforable home. + Probably the best and biggest breakfast in Western Kanada ;-)! Sabrina & Robin, August 2013

I don't often use B&B's and I was delighted to stay at The Grateful Bed. The owners Joyce & Ted are warm and gracious hosts and I truly enjoyed my stay. I felt welcome in their home and enjoyed my first trip to Prince George! Loved breakfast!!! I would not hesitate to come back on my next trip.

A few weeks ago I was lucky to find a bed at Joyce and Ted`s place! I really appreciated the beautyful and absolutely clean room, while I arrived late in Prince George. Even though, my stay was short I warmly recommend this calm and friendly place. Keep on the track Joyce! I`m still grateful having found this place! From Switzerland,...

I spent 5 nights at the Grateful Bed while showing my horse at a Prince George show. I really appreciated the made-to-order breakfast (depending on my show schedule), the comfy room, wonderful shower and relaxing on the deck. I felt like I had a "home", instead of a "room" at the end of a long day at the show. My...

4 of us stayed at the Grateful Bed on Thanksgiving weekend 2012. Joyce and Ted are a very interesting couple and we had lots of fun over our breakfasts. The breakfast set me up for the full day starting with cereal, yogurt, juice and friut, and then moved on to a full fry up reminiscent of Irish, Scottish and English...

Ted and Joyce were fantastic hosts, letting me know about where to dine and stroll around town, and were great company as I rambled on about my trip plans! The homemade breakfast with an Irish character was a great start to a long day's ride to Smithers. The room was comfortable and well prepared. I felt at home and that...

My Girlfriend and I stayed at Ted and Joyce's for one night and it was superb. We had a spotless, extremely comfy room. Ted and Joyce are both very good hosts and do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The absolute highlight was the breakfast though. Homemade food through and through, all made by Joyce. We...

Beautiful flowers, really nice host, and a great breakfast! We were searching for a home in Prince George so we stayed here. I have an allergy to wheat so I was really excited about the gluten free pancakes she had for us. It was very nice to have someone go so out of their way for my allergy. They are...
